They have certainly rescued us from boredom during the past year of limited travel and socialization. We've capitalized on this time by brewing like fiends! and The Beer Nut has been there every step of the way by providing all the necessary supplies! We've appreciated that they've had very responsible business practices during the pandemic. They require masks and only allow a handful of customers in at a time. If the door is locked during business hours, this is why. Just wait outside for a customer or two to leave, and you should be welcome to come in! They have very competitive pricing on most items. We have our own grain mill so we've been buying their 50lb bags of bulk grain and grinding it at home. They have the full range of supplies. Everyone from beginner to advanced homebrewers will find everything they need to make a batch of beer. In addition to beer supplies, they have wine and cider making supplies. The best thing they have is the rentable fruit press. So if you have more fruit than you know what to do with, you don't need to own a bunch of fancy equipment to turn it into a delicious fermented beverage. The only criticism I have is that sometimes they are out of things but considering how popular homebrewing has gotten in the past year, this is probably unavoidable. I've been impressed by the variety of the hop selection throughout the entire pandemic. Thank you for staying open! and keeping us entertained during this pandemic!

The managment is truely knowledgeable and fully capable of answering those mysterious questions based on years of experience in the beer/wine/coffee pursuit. Probably the most surprising aspect of this place is the prices. They have the best prices I've seen anywhere. I no longer bother looking online for better bargains. The only sad thing is that they're in Utah, making fun events such as tastings' or other brewery events involving sampling beverages... illegal!
