    Currywurst

Great food, check, Easy parking, check. Good service, check. Cool building, check. Good music, eh, not so much. If you're into really average, borderline subpar rap, then you will love it here. Because you know, when I think of a brewery that specializes in German food, I think of rap music. But I digress. The food really was very good and we will come back for that. I love how you can get half orders of the larger entrees. We sampled the chicken schnitzel and opted to sub German potato salad for the fries that normally come with it and this was a great decision. Their potato salad slaps. The 1/2 order currywurst was great too! I liked it so much I kind of wished we would have gotten the full order. Let's get to the beer. I am such a fan of TF beers that I struggle to be impartial. I tried the cranberry orange sour and it was okay. My SO opted for their Mexican lager and it was great! I switched to this for our second round. The vibes. Don't get me wrong, it is a cool place but something about it is off. It's hard to put my finger on exactly what makes this place seem less fun than other breweries we frequent. There's nothing wrong with it. It's just missing that extra something that makes me want to hang out longer.

Had a great experience here. I avoid gluten so glad they had 2 gluten reduced options. The bartender we had, Evil Austin, also knew his beers. Definitely listen to his advice! Food was also great. We got the sausage platter, and curry wurst fries to split. I then got a burger and the wife got a Rueben. Would have been nice if they had a GF bun, but their lettuce wrap was fine. I really liked the sausage platter but I love variety like that. It comes with sauerkraut and pickles so really good with beer. Really glad we went to this place!

FAST Food: we split a Chicken Avocado sandwich, which was really good, but the straw fries were amazing! Atmosphere: large brewery, lots of seating. Great Indy Punk music in the background, TV's with football games all around. Service: our server Rachel was very nice. Tip: several Trivia & Dart nights!

Needed a place to kill time before heading back to the airport (bags and all) We were able to sit at the bar and had the most lovely afternoon thanks to the bartender Austin! Ordered an eggplant schnitzel sando w/ potato salad and the insane grilled cheese. Everything was delicious. Tried some beers, cocktails, and was able to play games for hours until boarding our flight.

For those who like short reviews: The place was good, but somewhere that asks for $3 to add cheese on the burger rubs me the wrong way Burgers were good, fries were awesome, pretzels were okay. Cider seemed to be good as well. Beware of homeless in the area. For those who like something more in depth: I have mixed feelings about this place. The building itself was pretty nice, had a great vibe, I loved the lighting and the look of everything. It was a generally enjoyable place to be. They have a fair amount of dart boards for groups to play with. They have a lot of options food wise, I ended up getting their bewilder burger(double burger), which costed $3 to add cheese. If I had known that they'd try to get that out of me beforehand I probably would've just brought my own slice. It wasn't my favorite thing to see a double cheeseburger being rung up for $20 but i understand that bar food is usually a little more pricey. It was good, and the fries were awesome(I really do mean awesome, like I just had to keep eating them) but I would say that this isn't the place I'd go out of my way to get a burger. Secondly I got the pretzels, which ran me up for $11 for 3 of them. They were good, they had the kind of cheese with them that hardens up fast so you have to eat and dip the pretzels as fast as you can. But they were good Honestly this place is just....a bar. It's no shining star of Salt Lake but you can come here and get a few drinks with some good food. If your favorite local bar is full and you need somewhere else to go this wouldn't be a bad replacement. Rating 3.75/5

Awesome place! Our waiter was incredibly friendly and had awesome recommendations. I ordered the Oklahoma burger and it was so good. The fries were decent imo. Ambience inside is the classic brewery vibe. Prices were very fair, there's a huge parking lot, and the beer selection is impressive. Definitely a spot I'd come back to!

What a great find! bewilder Brewing has been on my "to try" list for awhile and I'm glad I finally came. The beer and drinks were great, food was great, atmosphere was great, service was great! Will definitely be back! We ordered the a side order of pretzels, the good burger and the chicken and garlic brat. We liked everything - although the fries were way overdone.

I love a good currywurst. This was quite good, but if you want it to be traditional German style, you should warm the curry ketchup and put it over the sausage, not the fries. Otherwise, delicious!

Wow what a hidden gem this place is!! I drive by it daily and didn't know it was here... they seriously need to make some new signs because this place was fantastic and people will keep driving by without a clue. Cool interior, nice patio, tons of parking..... real dart boards, TVs with the games on across the space. Food was great too! Had a few different beers , burgers and grilled cheese and fries this time... next time the German sampler for sure. We are coming back for trivia or bingo nights.

The salad was great. Loved the Zulu beer! So nice to enjoy the fall sun outside. The gal helping us was super nice.

Cute spot. Plenty of parking in their lot. Their burger was pretty good. I ordered without onions and decided to upcharge to pretzels for my side. It was a good choice! The inside is pretty large with lots of seating.

Great industrial themed brewery in Salt Lake!! Good beer and good people!! Accidentally ordered a large amount of pretzels, so move aware "shareables" menu lol

Ok!! The beer was great!! Man, Utah has some great local beer and the scene is awesome!! Brats were fire!! and schnitzel was good, a little over cooked. Probably sitting there for sometime. The burger wasn't great, patty was frozen not fresh!! Ordered it protein style without bun!! They could have wrapped it in lettuce. Overall I'm giving this place a 3 , they need to work on the menu a bit more and focus on quality!! Beer was a 5 all around!!

We visited at least two, during our four days in SLC. This one was the first: a cathedral-style brewpub with a sports bar aesthetic, with decent food, decent drinks, decent service, and decent prices. Everything was decent. You're not likely to be disappointed by anything you order, but you're not likely to be blown away by anything, either (another thing Squatters has in common with McMenamins, I'd say). During our second visit (to another location, but I'm sure the same rule applies), our party was only interested in ordering drinks (one per person, mind you), but we were informed that we *had* to order some sort of food to accompany them (I'm sure this is more of a Utah thing, rather than a Squatter's thing, but still annoying), so bear that in mind if you're looking for a place to just chill with a beverage and watch a game. Still, the vibe here is lively and friendly; assuming your server is as well, which was a coin flip, in our experience. For a fast, casual chain of brewpubs, Squatters has a lot going for it, and I can see why they are popular, as clearly as I can see ways in which they can improve. A little more focus, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence, and Squatters could absolutely dominate in SLC, and beyond.

I knew from the parking lot this place was a winner. Once inside, it had a welcoming atmosphere and people inside were all having a good time. Luckily there was a ton of delicious looking food on the menu from the expected pizzas and wings to the old world treats like beef stroganoff, goulash and schnitzal. Everything is made from scratch and I couldn't help looking at all the neighboring tables to get an idea of what to try. Our waitress Ashley was really helpful and checked if the pesto was made with nuts as we have peanut and tree nut allergies in our family. Luckily there were no pine nuts or other substitutes and we could safely have it! It had a fresh taste to it and even a little lemon-y, which didn't make the fried cutlet taste too rich. It came with mashed potatoes, gravy and veggies. The veggies were your basic steamed veggies, but the dish was overall good. Service was great-server was attentive and the manager came around as well to check on us. I think it would be fun to come here for Oktoberfest, since the inside has a good ambiance.
