Historical venue. Rich History. A plethora of famous people played here. It's a little dated and could use an update. There are bar stools without backrests upstairs. First come first serve. Maybe 25 stools. The rest is standing room, it's a little rough for a full concert. No food allowed and they don't serve anything, no chips or snacks. Decent beer selection.

Really cool venue. The main stage area has these bars with tiny ledges so you have a place to put your drink and lean against it when your legs are tired. Smart design!

Came here for a comedy show and was surprised there was no seating, standing only. To stand for 3 hours is kinda taxing when it's just comedy, not a concert. They had one large fan, but it was so packed we were sweating, and there was no room to move. Getting in was super fast thankfully, they were checking IDs outside, then the tickets inside. They had a full bar, a tall boy was $15. The sound quality was good, we could hear everyone and if you aren't too short you could see the stage clearly. This was a weird venu for comedy because there were no chairs, but it did make it more intimate and everyone super involved.

I think I was the oldest person there for the Destroy Lonely concert, so please keep that in mind when reading this. These comments are for parents who might be going with their middle-school kids. - Make sure to download the AXS app or have your kid download it, and show your ticket through there, even if you bought it through Vividseats. - At the entrance, staff were asking EVERYONE, even kids who were obviously not 16 for their IDs, which made them worried. They only need IDs to get an wristband to drink (which they were not going to do) and DID NOT MATTER for getting into the concert, but nobody was telling the kids or parents that. - There are free sealed earplugs offered near the front entrance. - VIP section is worth it (as a parent) if you want to sit down. There's about 20-30 bar stools in the upstairs balcony that is not in the VIP section, but need to grab them early. - Prepaid parking is super close, down the ally next to the theater. Definitely seemed worth it. Two staff took my name on a clipboard, but there are no signs telling you how to find it. - No re-entry, not even to go to your car. - The only way I could step outside and still return was to hang out in the gated smoking section with some friendly folks. - there were many angry people at the entrance yelling at staff about not being allowed in. - The mosh pit at the front seemed pretty safe from too much squeezing, because both sides are kept open. There were a few crowd surfers and a few who formed a circle to bash into each other. A few things were thrown, like water bottles and shoes (who wants to be in a mosh pit without shoes?) and I saw a few bloody people getting treated for minor head wounds , but overall... seemed liked the guards kept things mostly under control. - the upstairs was much much nicer for me and I thought the sound quality was better up there too (less echo).

I have been seeing shows here since I was a teenager. I don't think I have ever had a bad time here. The staff were nice, which they often are rude at large venues like this, so that was a nice change of pace. The bar staff keep the line moving even when the place is packed wall to wall. The Ogden has always been great and that does not appear to be changing!

Pluses: intimate venue, decent sound quality , two bars with fast bartenders who were also nice, decent beer selection on tap in inside bar, tiered standing room. Safety features like metal detectors, bag checks, security throughout. Negatives: so crowded on lower tiers and became a mosh pit , hot as heck once main band started, bathrooms could have been cleaner

The parking situation can be complicated and there are many paid parking lots spread out. The venue itself is small so you can get a good view of the artist wherever you stand. With that said, it is mainly standing room with limited seating options. If you want a seat, get there early. Even the VIP area doesn't guarantee seats for everyone. I enjoyed the balcony area because it's a good space to breathe and enjoy the show with a great view of the stage. No one was standing in front of me or behind me. It was nice to see the show without everyone's phones in your face.

Not too bad a venue for live music. * Standing room only downstairs * Limited seating upstairs * Coat check available * 2 bar areas. One located in front foyer, the other behind the merch table * Restrooms are small (with slight need for upgrade) * Security requires patrons walk thru a metal detector. All bags searched! Now for the downside....sound engineering. The music, instruments, vocals are WAY out of balance. I could hear Marc Labelle (lead singer if Dirty Honey) but not very well. He is one voice that deserves to and should be heard. Instead we got a earful of guitar (John Notto is still amazing) but please find the happy medium (Sound guy....this means you). Go to my FB page and take a listen.... raw footage....

Admittedly a fan of these older, smaller venues for the intimate show opportunities they provide. We saw Chelsea Cutler here Sunday night (4/10/22) and had a great time. We had early access ticks that allowed us to grab barstools on the left balcony that gave us an amazing close-up view of the whole show. The usual $8 Bud Light tall boys and mostly SRO GA, but a great old spot for your favorite non-arena artist.

YALL - do emojis work on Yelp because [crying emoji, star eyes emoji] - seeing Bryce Vine perform at the Ogden was so much more than I thought it would be. First and foremost, I'm not a fan of tight spaces and big crowds so I was skeptical it would be comfortable. I took a chance because YOLO (it is historic after all) and it was my birthday. The VIP balcony tickets are 100% worth it if you like a little more space and you're short like me. The view was great! If you want a stool though you've gotta get there earlier. The speaker volume was just right, not so loud that your eardrums burst, but so loud you can feel the energy! The intimacy of this concert venue is unbeatable and felt just as powerful - if not more - than a large stadium. I bought a fast pass and didn't end up needing it because we got there later, so if that's your plan save some money and don't bother. Anyway, this was a dream and I'm thrilled I got to experience it - if you're unsure just do it! You won't regret experiencing this place at least once. PS - for parking I recommend using spot hero in advance. There are several options within walking distance. Don't make the mistake of getting towed (like we saw when we were leaving) to ruin a great night out.

Me and my friend paid 120 to get kicked out for having a celcius energy drink. Security guards were uncooperative and rude.

Does anyone know if the parking lot actually closes after 30 minutes of a show or if monitoring (security) just stops after 30 minutes of a show? I don't want to be stuck in the parking garage after a show lol thanks!

Hello, I attend concerts at this venue all the time. There is not necessarily a parking garage that I am aware of, but there is paid parking in lots across from the venue where security allows entry to park your vehicle for the show. I’m not sure… Read more

Does anyone know where to look the parking lot? I'm having trouble finding it.

What time do shows here normally end?

If it's "an evening with" meaning 1 band, I'd say usually 11:45-12 and if it's multiple bands more like 12-12:30am.

If I bought tickets for a concert and it's will call how does that work? How do I find proof of purchase?

There is a ticket window off to the left side of the main entrance, that's where you provide your i.d, they look you up and boom you're in the show!

Anybody who's come out of Colorado to become a big name has gone through those doors to play on the little stage. From local to traveling acts, from punk bands and karaoke talent to gritty stand-up and flirty burlesque, this place has it. If you're up for a night that doesn't stink of ordinary, swing through that creaky door and take in a most memorable evening. If there is a cover, it's usually nominal. Drinks are cheap, served by a great crew that's always up for a laugh and cheers. Sometimes hitting the town isn't about getting fancy but just kicking back, and this is a great place to do just that off the mainstream treads.

The interior is small but I like how the bar is set up kind of in a rectangle so you're actually facing some other people (maybe awkward, but feels more communal?) They had an inexpensive menu of basic beers. They were out of the drink I wanted so the bartender made me a creation that I guess is something the doorman likes - not bad, and I think it was about $10 which is pretty decent for a mixed drink. I noticed a big red counter/clock on the wall across from us and after a few seconds we deduced it was a decibel meter. I'm curious if they have restrictions here for noise - AOK by me. The volume was generally alright (a little loud but what isn't?) and they actually had a sound guy in the corner making sure the volume and quality sounded good. Overall had a very decent Saturday night here.
