They must be good to be almost sold out! They still had the steak and cheese and the woman working there offered the vegetarian samosa which I said sure. I asked if there were any chicken pot pies and she didn't think so but then said yes, they had one! I told her I was taking it to go so she put both my pies in a box and asked if I would like mango sauce to go. She put it in a little container in the box and I went happily on my way. When I got home the pies were still warm and I wasn't hungry to eat them all but I did try the samosa with the mango sauce and it was delicious! The pie crust was flaky and there were lots of vegetables in the rectangle pie. Later that night I ate the rest of the samosa and the chicken pot pie. The chicken pie has big chunks of chicken inside. My belly was happy full of pie! The price for the 2 pies was $13 but it was a good treat to have and filling. Did you know they carry at least one gluten free offering on the truck every day? The quiche was excellent! I was sorry I missed them on my way back to work to buy the rest of the pan for later! Will be eagerly looking out for this truck on the streets of Edmonton next season!
