Dr. Graf has changed my life. Before seeing him last month, I had been suffering with with chronic…read morelower back pain for about 2.5 years and I was treated terribly by my previous pain management doctor, Laura Audell, whom I have given a very different yelp review. (See below.). Dr. Graf and his staff are phenomenal. They treat me with compassion and respect. I found Dr. Graf after seeing a new orthopedic (Dr. Jack Tauber), who was referred to me by my wonderful boss. Dr. Graf was able to see me right away, less than 48 hours after my first meeting Dr. Tauber. Dr. Graf spent about 45 minutes with me during our consultation. He proposed innovative procedures to relieve my pain and help me push off surgery for a few years. He also prescribed me appropriate medication for someone suffering with the kind of pain I am. I am able to focus on my work and put in he long hours my job requires (I am a family law attorney). I was in so much pain the last several months, I've had a hard time focusing on my work. I cannot afford to take a lot of time off from work at this time for surgery I went from feeling despondent and hopeless about my situation to enthusiastic and hopeful. Dr. Graf has truly changed my life for the better. I would recommend him to anyone. To provide some context for my review, I am providing some background below regarding my conditions and my terrible experience with my previous pain management doctor. Brief Background: I have scoliosis, for which I had the Harrington Rod corrective surgery in 1986, when I was 12 years old. This was the standard corrective surgery performed during that era. I lived a healthy, happy, active and normal life for nearly 3 decades since my surgery, until my lower back pain started in late 2014. I finally sought the help of an orthopedic doctor in August 2016 (not Dr. Tauber) and learned I have flat back syndrome (a common long term side effect of the Harrington Rod scoliosis surgery.) As part of this condition, I have degenerative disc disease (the disc between L3 and L4 is completely gone and the disc between L4 and L5 is on its way), spinal stenosis, arthritis, etc. I'm only 43. After anti-inflammatory medication did not help my pain, my previous orthopedic doctor sent me to a pain management doctor (Dr. Audell) to treat my chronic pain until surgery. She performed unsuccessful nerve block injections, pushed muscle relaxers on me (despite my adverse reaction) and then basically ignored me (rarely responding to my emails) afterwards as I begged and pleaded for help relieving my pain. She had the nerve to suggest meditation for my level 8 pain. In her last email to me, she told me I should push up my surgery despite the fact it's "inconvenient for your life". Dr. Graf, on the other hand, has proposed options to relieve my pain and delay my surgery. I am so grateful that I found him and I'm feeling very optimistic about my prognosis and my future thanks to him and his wonderful staff. 5 stars are not enough for this wonderful doctor and his wonderful team!!!

When I told him I had an upcoming vacation and asked if it was possible to get my back problems resolved within a week, he offered to schedule phone appointments and took the time to really explain to me what the source of my pain was. After just 3 appointments, his advice provided me with solutions and tips which has decreased my back pain tremendously. Overall, a very positive experience and I recommend.

If you are a chronic pain patient, there is relief with Ketamine. Dr. Farahmand is a caring chronic pain doctor. When I saw Dr. Farahmand we had conversation and a comprehensive evaluation (it was not a 5 min visit nor a physician's assistant!). He took the time to listen to me, which in my experience as a pain patient is rare. I traveled from out of state to see Dr Farahmand after reading his CV and bio online. He explained how Ketamine reboots the brain and undoes the wiring that has been causing the pain. If you are chronic pain patient this is the best news you could ever hear. My sleep is better and general pain score is lower since Ketamine. I still have some pain but I'm convinced that Ketamine is the best treatment out there (and I've tried everything over the years - injections, surgeries, pulsed radio frequency). I had a series of 4 infusions and it was the best money I have ever spent. I have my life back! Thank you Dr. F and nurses Sharon and Griselda for the great care!

If I could give 10 stars I definitely would! The medical…read morestaff at Elite integrative Medical they went far and beyond the call of duty. I was put in touch with dr Berk after being highly recommended on sept 28th (injury happened on the 27th) I explained to him what I was feeling he recommended 1st to get an MRI to see what kind of damage was done and to have it sent directly to him. I received it on the 30th and they called me that day and over the phone he discussed the options I had and his recommendations. The Dr recommended that I come in for a PRP INJECTION on that Monday and then wait a day and do STEM CELL injections on Wednesday. He said think about it and do your research about it then let me know I didn't know much about either just knew more and more people are using these methods to heal themselves. I knew surgery would be what most Doctors would suggest and what comes with that is a long rehab and recovery and not 100 percent successful. I'm super active and I work on my feet and knowing I had work in I Europe within 5 weeks I would probably have to miss that work. So I did my homework talked to people some pro some anti but something inside of me said go do this. So I called the next day and set up the appointment in 2 days I forgot to mention I live in Miami Beach I jumped on a plane on a Sunday and I limped in excruciating pain into the office with a Medial meniscus bucket-handle tear in my left knee on a Monday was 1st frayed and fitted with an uploader knee brace then followed the PRP that morning rested all day Tuesday and went back for the Stem Cell Injection on Wednesday. Was told to rest Thursday and Friday and flew out Saturday morning The first 10 days was really rough but Dr and the staff were always checking in on me throughout the process. Asking me how i was feeling and what I could and couldn't do He had a plan and made sure I followed it It's now 3 weeks and one day and I can't believe how I'm feeling. The recovery is going better than i could've expected I've been rehabbing in the pool for about 8 days a little more each day gettin stronger and walking (not limping) with no pain (NO SURGERY!) I'm 100 percent sure I made the right choice to go with Dr Berk And his incredible staff at Elite integrated medical

After the appointment was over, Kristina tried to convince me that it's okay to send my insurance a $500 bill because I anyway don't have a co payment and I don't need to pay(even though consultation is free). I just recommend you guys to stay away if you have a serious problem. BTW prepare yourself, they are going to ask you if you have neck issues like 1,000 times just so they can offer you one of their "deals". Feels more like a flea market other than a real clinic.

I found Roofian and saw his positive reviews (look closely you'll notice they are likely all fake - please look at the negative review those are the truth). His office confirmed multiple times that they were in network w/ my insurance. What they fail to mention is Roofian himself might be in network for your consultative visits but any procedure he does in his very same clinic is billed under 'R&R', a different name and is not in network. I met with Roofian and we discussed a radiofrequency ablation for my chronic pain. We discussed that insurance requires 2 medial branch blocks per side of my neck before the RFA can be completed and the process that required lidocaine injections for the medial branch block. I also told him many times the only thing I was consenting to be put into my body was lidocaine. I have extensive sensitivities to medications and thus was extremely clear. Each of the 4 times I came in for my branch blocks, I confirmed with the nurse assisting with the procedure that only lidocaine was being used, and each time received confirmation from the nurse that yes, it was only lidocaine. Throughout the several weeks it took me to get all 4 procedures, I was experiencing anxiety, heart palpitations, and shortness of breath. I did not relate this to this procedure as I've had lidocaine many times with no issue. It was not until the 4th procedure when I tried to schedule my RFA appointment that the nurse said I had to wait weeks to see if 'it worked'. I queried this as lidocaine wears off within hours. It was then disclosed to me that the doctor had been injecting dexamethasone into my body against my direct consent and w/o my knowledge. I have never felt so violated in my life. It was then that I looked into dexamethasone and realized my anxiety, shortness of breath, and heart palpitations were side effects of the drug I'd been given 4x against my consent. Not only that, but because of the long acting drug, I was not able to feel the limits of my pain and this resulted in the worse acute pain flare of up of my life. The first day of my flare up I was in so much pain I was vomiting for 12 hours straight, then I was bed ridden for 2 weeks. I couldn't even feed myself properly, I ate cold food from easy open cans for 2 weeks as that's all I could physically manage. It was excruciating to move even an inch, even to breath. This would not have happened if the doctor had not have numbed my ability to receive signals from my body that I count on to not over extend myself due to pain. I still needed my RFA, so I called 8 other pain doctors trying to get my RFA done. Every single one told me that b/c Roofian had used dexamethasone the procedure became therapeutic not diagnostic. The diagnostic procedure is only supposed to use lidocaine. Roofian did the procedure WRONG. He did not do diagnostic medial branch blocks. He did a therapeutic procedure. Not a single other doctor could give me the RFA based on these medial branch blocks. Not only that, they all told me that insurance would deny my request for an RFA based on these therapeutic blocks. These procedures are excruciating and I went through them for nothing. Out of sheer pain and desperation, I tried to make an appointment for the RFA w/ Roofian so I didn't have to subject myself to all that pain again. His officed refused until my bills were paid - then I received the bills. These bills were for thousands of dollars because the procedure was in fact out of network. I called the office countless times trying to deal with this. My lawyer dealt with it. The matter was settled. But every year they send me a bill again causing me extreme anxiety reliving what Roofian did to my body against my consent. I call them each time and they say it's dealt with until the next bill comes again. His office staff stand by him and his awful practices as well. Please stay at far away as you can from this man.
