Oh My GGogi is on the third floor in a shopping center at the intersection of Av. Bonampak & Av. Sayil - the restaurant is completely authentic and offers very good Korean food and BBQ. I recommend going as a group so you can get a variety of the dishes as there is a lot of variety. I found the food so good that I went twice during my stay.

Wow a treasure of Mexico Homemade Kimchi & tasty marinaded meats Pork combo is the best if you're going with a party of 2+ Combos comes with soup, egg and 2 steamed white rice. The broth on the soup is savory and the tofu is so great not too firm not too soft Fluffy eggs with scallions balance the meats He the pleasure of meeting the owner such a nice lady Very knowledgeable host that help us made a good choice Don't forget piña coladas

After a week in Tulum and Cancun, I was ready for an authentic Asian meal. Oh My Ggogi did not disappoint!! I've been to many Korean BBQ places but this was the first one that has been cooked on hoar coals! The food was amazing and Gabriel was great a cooking the meat. We got the mixed meat option with the soup and rice and everyone was excellent. I would highly recommend this place!

    Dessert squid games style!

Excellent kbbq spot in Cancun! Highly recommend! As a point of reference: we've had kbbq in the best spots in Koreatown, California and this place is top notch!! If you're in the mood for a great meal, this is the spot.

We saw the review and said, why not. Korean food in Cancun should be interesting. We ( party of 4) were blown away by the exceptional service we received right out the gate. The food was excellent, and customer service is out of this world. If you are tired of Mexican food every day and want something different but great.. Come to this Awesome establishment.

The best meal I had while I was in Cancun. They actually use charcoal which made the flavor amazing.

    Grill right at your table!

Wow a truly great find while vacationing in Cancun Mexico. When you enter the restaurant you are welcomed immediately by the staff in unison...what a great way to start your meal in a restaurant. This means they want you come to their restaurant.. After days of local resort food "cookie cutters"...we were ready for a switch of scenery and something a bit more personalized. The homemade Kimchi & sides of pickled vegetables were authentic made a great compliment to the tasty marinated meats of pork/steak & chicken that we ended up ordering for two . Combos comes with soup, egg souffle and 2 steamed white rice. The broth on the soup was savory and contained soft tofu and good addition to "wash" down our meals of rice & meats. The staff was very helpful with our grill set-up and cooking of the meats. One of he owner also assisted and was very friendly and engaging with us. This made our experience truly personal and special! Escape the mundane and give this place a a try...what's not to like about fresh grilled meats right at your table.

I'm so pleased with myself that I was able to locate a Korean bbq spot in Cancun! I've been craving for something Asian and with Chicago dining currently closed, I knew I had to check if Korean BBQ was available out here since it had been forever since I had that. This was a little out of the way from the hotel zone so it was a $25 cab ride to get there. It's located on the top floor of the strip mall and you have the option of indoor or outdoor dining. They have an extensive beverage and food menu so it was hard to choose especially when you arrive hungry! We opted for the beef package which included an assortment of their beef selections and an order of the pork belly. The package also came with rice, kimchi jigae (at an up charge), steamed egg, and banchan. We added an order of the fried Mandu and these were probably the best homemade mandu I've ever had! It was flavorful and just burst with juicy flavor! The steamed egg seemed like it was cooked with broth because it was also very flavorful. Everything was homemade and all very delicious. It felt like the owner was inviting us to eat in her home. You can tell that everything was made with a lot of love and care. I definitely recommend straying out of the typical tourist areas and enjoy a nice meal here!

We absolutely love Japanese food so we knew that we were in for a treat. All of the sushi was extremely fresh top quality service was exceptional though this was a quick lunch date. It felt like a three star dinner. The server was extremely attentive and explained the menu exceptionally. We started out with calamari, which was absolutely phenomenal. The oven roast oysters were delicious as well, but the sushi stole the shell. All of the sushi was extremely fat fresh and absolutely delicious. I got a nonalcoholic used beverage, which was absolutely divine. The establishment has a whimsical yet upscale appearance, which would be perfect for date night or a special dinner. I am so happy that we stumbled upon this restaurant and I will definitely visit again next time in Cancun.

The omakase options looked great but I opted for the menu. I went with nigiri: chu-toro with truffle added, o-toro, unagi with foie gras, squid and madako (octopus). All was outstanding. Would have loved to try the chocolate clam but they were out. The o-toro was so prefectly fatty! Well worth leaving resort for lunch! Chef Alexis and Server Javier were so warm and welcoming! I am originally from NYC and have dined in many…read moreJapanese restaurants before and although Jade's interior and ambiance was lovely, their food and service was unfortunately below average. Some of their appetizers were enjoyable such as the tuna tataki w/ garlic chips, mixed vegetable tempura, and spicy shrimp wontons. Their sashimi is pretty good and fresh, their chutoro is nice and buttery, but that's about the only thing that saved them from me rating 1 star. I would pass on most of their other rolls and nigiri though. Having gone to many omakases and even Japan 4x, I guess I'm just really picky with my sushi. I was pretty disappointed overall. I got my favorite nigiri such as scallop, ikura, and eel, and they were all pretty average. The rolls were not good, got the spider roll and truffle unagi roll. And sad to say, their desserts were the worst... As a family, we got one of each dessert to try, but they weren't good. The mochi ice-cream skin was tough and felt inedible, it needs to have a soft chewy, stretchy texture. Also had the sago and the shaved ice, we couldn't finish it. The service there was actually so slow too. We got seated at 6:45pm and didn't get our first appetizer until 7:30pm... 45min wait!! (we did get served our drinks in btwn) And then even after that, our dishes just kept slowly coming in. We ended our night with their dessert around 9pm. We were there for almost 2.5 hrs from stay to finish. A lot of it was spent just sitting around. Out of all the restaurants throughout Moon Palace, this might have been my least favorite. I wanted to like it, but I guess making Japanese food was just not their forte in Cancún.

The staff were cordial, lovely, and attentive. It can get busy, but everything comes in good time and they always encourage you to go for more. I ordered the tuna and salmon sashimi- it'll come four slices each, and at the time I ordered the salmon slices were a bit smaller than the tuna. The nigiri comes one at a time, but be advised you can order as many at a time as you want. The individual nigiri is super tasty! I got the spicy chicken bao bun and misoshiru (shiru just means soup)- the miso is good, but the spicy chicken bao bun wasn't my favorite. The 'bao' was good but did not taste like bao as I know it traditionally, as well as that the spicy chicken was more of a zesty, a-la Chinese style. Finally, I got the Roses Sour mocktail (just without sake). The sour on this was delightful and worth many come backs. This spot is a really good start to the stay at this resort. I highly recommend reserving at least at the start of your day as reservations do fill up as the day goes on. We managed to book at 8:15pm at around 4:30pm as that was the first available time.
