The parking was easy and the staff were all very efficient and friendly. The establishment is very clean and cute inside. Prices were very fair. We ordered a coffee cake type item to bring to a get together and a small box of cookies that we picked out ourselves. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Love supporting small business, especially when it's women owned! I wanted a little something something before lunch along with getting some goodies for a friend I was seeing. This place is tucked into a strip mall of ridge road and chock full of goodies! I got some salty and sweet stuff and it was very reasonable priced, under $15 for five or six items, whhhhhhaaaaat? I'm vegetarian and my wife has celiac so needs to be gluten free. I'm not a sweets guy. Ok, enough about me. I went here looking for good bread since in my opinion, that's hard to find around here. I've been back 4 or 5 times. They have fresh loaves daily of various kinds of sourdough. The rosemary and cheese is my personal favorite. Want to get plain but when the time comes I don't. The olive one is really good too. I've seen rye but never got it. I did get fruit tarts and various cookies, all delicious. They have a nice small selection of gluten free items like cookies, custard, and various others that my wife has enjoyed. It ain't easy finding gluten free baked goods. I overheard another customer talking about how the owner will make you whatever you want if you ask. It's good, you should go here. We need to keep businesses like this in our neighborhoods! This is one of the few European style bakeries/cafes in northwest Indiana. They feature a wide selection of pastries and desserts, as well as, donuts, sandwiches and coffee. They have excellent quality ingredients like real butter. The prices are fair given the quality. My mom loves their Kolaczkis. I enjoy their scones and donuts. If you are going to a dinner party and want something fancy they have a wide selection of fruit tarts and fancy desserts. The interior is tight. I'm a little cafe, hole in the wall bakery enthusiast. I'm always searching for the independent coffee shop, cafe, restaurant or bakery. I found OMG the other morning on my way to a job and I was so glad I did. Super nice people and an amazing array of bakery items. My scone was one of the best I've had and it was warm and fresh. First time here. Small bakery, female owner. Ordered pies for Thanksgiving, end up with that, Dog Treats, a Mini Bacon and Spinach Quiche and a Keyline Tart. Will let you know later about the pies. The Quiche and the Tart were amazing. The flavors were perfectly mixed. Everything you would expect from a bakery and more. My nephew wanted a carrot cake for his birthday and he's extremely fussy to say the least. So after checking out all the nearby bakeries I decided to try this one because of 5 star reviews. Now I thought $36 was a lot of money for a 8 inch cake. But hold on!! It was HUGE it had 3 layers of the absolutely most delicious cream cheese filling and topping and the cake was super moist. It was perfectly balanced between cake and frosting. AND OMG!!! This was indeed THE BEST CARROT CAKE we ever had and trust me we have tried several of them from different bakeries. My nephew was indeed very happy. Since it was HIS birthday cake, he got to take the rest of the cake home with him . I figured a 8 inch cake was enough to feed 8 people. It could have fed 12 or more people easily. The owner was extremely nice and the bakery is in a lil store front across from Applebees. So moving forward this is now my go to bakery.
