It makes a big difference in shopping experiences when you're called by your name. I never had to wait or try to get someone's attention because there was always someone, most importantly, Scotty, who was there to make sure I got the help I needed. The dress I selected was the Naima dress in black. I was cinched up so tight I thought I bought a new body.! Went on a Saturday afternoon and the store wasn't too busy when we first walked in but after a bit the place began to fill up. Dress selections were vast and they have more styles in the back so don't be afraid to tell them what you're looking for because it might just be hidden! Good location, easy street parking, and overall a fun shopping experience.

It sells trendy women's clothing and accessories, drawing inspiration from streetwear, pop culture, and runway trends. The brand became trendy on TikTok, and this retail store is fairly new as their sales all used to be online. I noticed a buzz and a lot of people shopping here even on a Thursday morning. The decor is fun and has neon and a lot of pinks; you walk under a giant heart cut out when you go through the front door. Prices seem pretty reasonable. It has a bit of a Forever 21 store (RIP) vibe. The nice thing about purchasing things in the store versus online is obviously you get service from the store staff and help with picking out styles in person. Check it out while it's hot.

The item has only been live for 5 days! Five days! And I'm potentially looking at earnings of less than $20 (unless the price is dropped again!) for a pair of Armani shoes. I could have sold these shoes for more at a garage sale. Can someone please explain to me why the price would be lowered by 20% after only 5 days of being available? As a consigner, it is infuriating to see the earnings decrease by such an amount that it makes me consider even working with The RealReal again. For $18.40 I could have taken these shoes to Buffalo Exchange and gotten more. I'm very disappointed.

And if you're expecting the employees to ask you "come here often?" before motioning the barkeep to bring you another of whatever you're having, then still, NO. Or maybe yes. Just not with me. Pffft. The clothes are definitely fun and flirty, though -- if you wear them. Flirt is the typical Melrose kitsch store -- one-offs and private labels abound. Not too many jean choices (mostly charcoal gray), and not that many T-shirts, but the ones they have will have you going gaga, lady. What's a boy like me doing reviewing an exclusively girl's store? Well, I have no intention of wearing that off-the-shoulder blouse or sundress (hmm... with the right belt and handbag, I -- nevermind), but the store is definitely a pleasant place, even if you're just waiting on girls to finish trying things on. You can stand there awkwardly listening to the early 1990s era boombox that's pumping out KISS FM all day (Lil Wayne seems determined to make me his fan), or check yourself out in the mirrors on the wall. "Oh you are quite the looker, aren't you..." Anyway, speaking of incredible, psychologically unhealthy narcissism (or not, whatever), the pink-curtained dressing rooms have matching pink folding chairs -- everything in the store has either touches or tons of pink, which sounds like a Hello Kitty nightmare but is actually kind of cute in a flamingo-pecked-my-eyes-out way. When you try things on, it's with a soft background of Pepto Bismo, but it does make that hotgasmic pair of koolats stand out in palatial, plaid glory. Sweet Heavens, but you're beautiful. Now close your curtain -- that weird tattoo guy with his tattooier girlfriend can see your thong. Hey, the stuff you're trying on is on sale, too! At least a fourth of the store is half off, so you'll have more money left over to blow on things like shoes, handbags, and rent. Service is fast, friendly, and helpful -- they'll make useful suggestions that aren't lame attempts at plus-selling. Flirt Clothing does lose one star because they forgot to remove a security tag on a $240 hobo bag. Now I'm going to have to come back tomorrow -- with receipt -- to have them remove it because SOMEBODY'S too busy (*cough* gainfully employed) to do so herself. I'm going to play like it's mine. It looks cuter on me anyway :-)

I bought a beautiful purple scarf with brown leopard spots on it the other day. The material was like that of a soft sweater. It was only $19.00. I could've gotten a better deal on it if I bargained with the lady there, but I didn't since the price was already low. Also, she was nice and showed me how to tie it since I wasn't sure how to wear it. I always leave scarves untied up until now. She showed me and it was easier than it I thought it would be. I really appreciated that. Also, it was great that she could actually break a $100.00 bill. Some places can't. If you're not familair with the area, you might not know that due to lots of competition, sometimes the shop owner or manager will give you a discount on clothes and other items if you ask them for one. Sometimes they are so eager to sell, they just offer you a good deal. I didn't want to appear cheap though, so I didn't bother asking. It was also nice that she didn't bug me or follow me around like a lot of the shop employees tend to do sometimes. This is a great place and I'll come back here next time I'm in LA.

Do NOT purchase anything from Reformation's website. Reformation is now using Amazon Shipping…read more(rather than a normal delivery method with tracking such as UPS or FedEx) and if the item is lost or stolen by Amazon (as mine was), Reformation "customer service" will not answer your emails, DMs or texts. Reformation does not have a customer service phone #. Their stores do not answer the phone. I purchased a dress a week ago for over $130, and received an email with a tracking # from "Amazon Shipping." A week passed, and I then received a "Your item was delivered!" email. No photo of the delivery. No proof. No address for the delivery. The tracking # only says it was delivered to a "mail room" in a town 25 miles from where I live. Amazon Shipping says the delivery people do not have to take a photo or provide any proof that the item was actually delivered. They referred me back to Reformation. I now have to call my credit card company to contest the charge. Dealing with this has taken me hours already, and I feel like not only was the dress I was looking forward to receiving stolen, but so was my money. This is not a viable way to do business. Reformation should be ashamed of themselves.
