The most unprofessional movers I have ever used. I wish I would have read the reviews on Yelp prior to using them. They are scammers- we agreed upon a price initially $120 an hour, they worked 4 hours and would not release our things until we paid them $1000, I kid you not. They moved in the same city, 5 miles away, they did not wrap any of our items lagged the ENTIRE TIME. I had to constantly remind them that we are on the clock. DO NOT USE THEM, find a reputable company and make sure you document everything. SCAMMERS, and unprofessional. Please make sure you read other customer stories which will mirror what I experienced. Be prepared to pay 1500 + scammers. first off they move extra slow and im sure its on purpose then they add a additional moving when unpacking for 200 they dont tell you about. SCAM ALERT - READ THE REVIEWS - BIG TIME SCAMMERS Here's the Story. I reached out originally because they had a "Trendy Name called Oh Ship" (but it looks like they are so tainted that they changed their name here to "Shift Happens" however they are the same company. Also, they operate under a totally different LLC that doesn't match the name they do business as. Their LLC is "No Ship".. how do I know? Because I am in the legal profession and these guys run the shadiest operation because of the following: - The Guys that you talk to that want your business and you communicate with WILL NOT be the same schmuck running the show. Supposedly he's "Just a Foreman". (That's what he tells you after you communicate for days. - Their Own Written Agreements Mean Nothing to Them. (We entered into a Flat Rate agreement and they back peddled). - When They realized they under-quoted on a legally binding document, they decided to hold all my possessions hostage and "Legally Steal", all my items located in an unknown place until I paid them another $350 magically to the total. - Even After Paying they Got Stuck on the Block coming up AND AFTER PHYSICALLY HELPING THEM GET THE TRUCK UP THE HILL, They Left 1/3 of the entire truck with my items on the Side of the Road because again, they moved the goal post on a contractual flat rate agreement and wanted some insane amount of money to finish the job they just dumped down the block on my neighbor's front yard (that they have on Camera!!) - The Owners are shady, unapologetic, treat their employees horribly (based on conversations with the actual movers) and even cursed at my wife because she wanted actual reasons on why all of this was happening. Needless to say, I can write a whole other page of documentation but I will leave that to the court filing that's going to go down with these guys. If anyone wants to reach out to me, I will be more than happy to provide you with all the information necessary to file in court against them as well. My brother Ramon, had Oh Ship move our belongings, which he had said , seen one of the movers on there phone majority of the time. To which he bought them food and took over an hour on their break. The service was outrageous. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. Two movers arrived in poor physical condition. One openly said he was already tired. They were extremely slow and inefficient. It took 7 hours to move just three large items (cabinet, couch, fridge) and ~70 boxes. In the contract, there is no time for a break, which I think is inhumane, so I made them sandwiches. However, the break was heavily abused -- after 0,5 hour of silence, I went out to see what was happening, and the movers remained seated on the truck scrolling on their phones instead of returning to work (photo attached). - I had to repeatedly encourage them to continue and eventually tell them to go to the storage, as they didn't seem to want to do it. - At the storage facility, the situation got worse. The movers were passive and disorganized. I had to take over: - I found an extra cart myself - I did the majority of the unloading alone! I was running full carts to the storage, unpacking them, and returning to the truck to grab another cart that the movers loaded in the meantime. This cycle repeated about 8 times. They were just loading a cart and waiting for me to do the rest. - One mover stayed in the truck most of the time. The other helped me with 3 heaviest items. In practice, I was doing the movers' job! Despite this, I was still required to pay for the full 7 hours upfront, before unloading. After the move, I tried to resolve this. I called the company four times and was told Felix would call me back - he never did. I emailed him with full details and did not get a response. I trusted Felix's claims of professionalism and experience. Unfortunately, this experience was the opposite. I cannot recommend this company. I feel cheated. read more

Felix is a nice guy. He means well. If you're moving a bunch of neat boxes and standard fare, I'm sure he can do the job great. If you have anything out of the ordinary, like a grand piano or a Korean rock bed, avoid at all costs. Most movers can move a 3 bedroom place in a matter of 3-4 hours. This crew took over 10 and charged nearly the full amount for it. Hours were spent figuring out how to move the piano out of the house and more hours on how to take it up 4 steps when moving it back in. They made a giant crack in the wooden support of the rock bed, and won't take responsibility for it. Honestly, I don't blame them too much for it because it is a pretty unique item to move, but don't deny it happened. The rates were good and they are careful, but the move came with too many headaches. I would suggest using them for boxes only. Hire a specialist to move the bigger things. read more

I would not recommend this moving company based on my experience. The movers were extremely slow, often moving only a few items at a time and taking frequent, extended breaks. While they appeared to be working, the pace was unusually slow, which significantly increased the total time and cost of the move. During the move, the truck also experienced mechanical issues and the battery went dead, resulting in approximately a three-hour delay while waiting for it to be restarted. This further extended the overall move time. As we were packing the truck to transport items to storage, I was informed that the owner or a representative instructed the crew to stop working due to concerns about overtime pay. This occurred in the middle of the move, causing additional disruption and confusion. When I contacted the office to address my concerns, it felt as though everyone worked together to justify the delays and issues rather than resolve them. I have used moving services before and have never experienced anything like this. It felt like there was no accountability for the service being provided. My son eventually had to assist in completing part of the move, including wrapping and handling items such as a television, in order to help finish the job. My experience with office representatives was also disappointing. Communication was not professional, and I did not receive clear support when requesting a detailed explanation of charges. The total cost came to approximately $3,000, but I have still not been provided with a detailed, itemized receipt showing how this amount was calculated, despite requesting it. I was only given verbal explanations over the phone. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the service, the lack of transparency in billing, and the delays experienced during the move. It felt as though the priority was maximizing time rather than providing efficient service. I would not recommend this company. Be cautious when using their services. read more

First of all remove the "P" and add a "T"!!! Felix told me based on our initial conversation and what in had in the house it would take around four and a half hours. I budgeted for six to be safe. They arrived on time but ended up using our supplies wrapping plastic and moving carpets because they didn't have enough. They also did not have Allen wrenches so they couldn't dissemble the bed. At six hours into the move they tell me they had the wrong size truck and they needed to drop off the furniture they packed and make a second trip leaving behind the bed and other items. They requested that I pay before they took anything off the truck, no problem paid about $300 more than I budgeted for based on what the owner told me. Had to call another mover to get the rest of my belongs from the other house and move items from the garage into the new house. Thank you to Golden Sun Movers a real professional moving company, I wish I had called them from the beginning. There were some damaged items as well that has not been addressed by the company. Felix was very responsive prior to getting my items on the truck since then nothing but crickets. Read the reviews, all of them, I wish I did. Bottom line I will be moving into my dream home in a year and I definitely won't use this company and you should think twice before using them as well. read more

They did a move with (8.2 miles). The first crew (Nate and Christian, very professional gentlemen) was prompt (9:15 am) as scheduled and got to work. They evidently ran out of tape and stretch wrap. Seen the two gentlemen short supply I offered them my tapes and stretch wraps to use. At about 2:00 pm the first crew were replaced by the second crew (Felix and Tony,, Felix the owner) the day was getting late so we told them to go ahead and leave some things behind and we will move them ourselves. Them move proceeded to the delivery location. At about 8:00 pm Felix suggested that they continue they the move in the next day being its been a long day and they were hungry. we agreed an paid him what he quoted us plus extra (tip) for the hard work. i mentioned that his first crew ran short of supplies ( tape and stretch wrap and we offered them ours). and they never replaced or returned the leftover unused stretch wrap. Felix ( owner) had the NERVE to STILL CHARGE ME FOR tape and stretch wraps! the following day two more men showed up to finish the move. They were told to charge us for their time as well by Felix (owner). i tried to contact Felix thru text and voicemail, as of today October 12, 2025 still NO REPLY! WE DID PAY the crew that showed up. They left some of their equipment that we texted and call them about it, STILL NO REPLY! DO WE WANT OR WOULD I RECOMEND THEM? HECK NO NO.....! Felix is not someone you should trust to do business with. He changes prices at the time of payment. For our move, his company damaged the flooring of the rental house we were moving into. The men from his company making the move stated that indeed the damage was accidentally caused by the move and that damage was not present prior. I emailed Felix a copy of the quote to repair damage, amount over $700. He stated that he will obtain his own quote as he felt the quote was priced too high. I informed him that damage is an amount that will be deducted from our deposit to repair by landlord, as it is a rental. After this he refused to return or answer emails, text messages, and voicemails. It's been since January, damage remains in place and I have not received a response. Beware as he retaliates by posting false reviews for his customers. Felix posted a bad for my husband who is a realtor, yet has never provided service to him or his family. Very petty. If possible I would give a negative one. The owner is a young gentleman who has no idea how to run a business. The move to say the least was a horror story. We were promised all furniture would be blanketed and shrink wrapped however that was not the case. Almost every piece of wood furniture we have has been scratched, gouged or the finish has been rubbed off. Our personal dolly was taken along with my one-step. I would not suggest this guy to move your trash cans. We advised the owner before the move that it would take 53 feet of space to move our goods. He said I can do it in 26 feet. Sadly it took about 14 hours to load. They had to bring an open box trailer for the rest of our goods and it was raining. read more
