1) This store is NOT REPUTABLE. Their receipt says no returns in three days. Yet this woman behind the counter insisted that ALL SALES ARE FINAL. 2) The staff is not friendly. I came to return a bag my mother purchased from here because she bought it for me, but it's just unfortunately not my style. Not to mention HORRENDOUSLY OVERPRICED! They insisted that all sales are final, but never told my mother that when she bought the bag. They weren't even willing to budge on their policy during the holiday season. So I'm writing this review to warn people that they don't tell people that all sales are final in their establishment. And that despite their receipt saying a return can happen in three days they don't honor it. I will no longer be doing business with this Postal Annex. There are many nicer places to get a notary done and have your mail delivered. If I could leave a 0 star rating I would. read more

What a wonderful group of people! Not only are they attentive and patient (even when crazy busy) they are knowledgeable and so helpful! Uhg! I am completely done with this place. I am sorry to say that the customer service has steadily tanked since I wrote my original review 3 years ago. The last straws came with my most recent transactions with them. When I went in to box-up and ship two packages last week, the clerk who helped me was unbelievably slow. The manager, Jim, was in the shop, but he did nothing to help her and just let the transaction drag-out and waste my time. Then, when I called a week later to ask for assistance getting the proof of delivery from Fed Ex, Jim was unbelievably rude and disrespectful to me on the phone. He didn't want to give me the store's "shipper number," which I understood. So I asked if I could just come into the shop and have him print-out the proof of delivery for me. He refused and said that he wouldn't do anything to help me. I couldn't believe how rude he was about it...not the way a business should treat a loyal customer. Evidently, the owners of this business don't care enough to properly train and oversee their "manager." Time to take my business elsewhere. Incidentally, if you ever need a proof of delivery from FedEx, you will get this message when printing one out from their website: "To view a signature image and detailed proof of delivery information,enter the 9-digit shipper or payer FedEx account number associated to the shipment. Otherwise, you will receive a summary proof of delivery without an image." If you want the proof with the signature image and you shipped with PostalAnnex+, you're out of luck. read more

I paid for a years worth of PO Box service in advance. I was told that when a package came in I would be notified, two times now nobody has contacted me that my shipment is in. This facility has very poor customer service qualities, M. HARRIS signed for my packages and no notification was sent to me that they've arrived it is been over a week now and I have not yet been notified! I will never patronize this PostalAnnex service again once my year is paid up I will find another company do you have my packages shipped to because the employees and the owner or franchisee at postal annex on State Street in San Jacinto doesn't have any concept of customer service this facility sucks! read more

NO NOTARY contrary to advertising that they have one. IF THEY HAD ANSWERED THE PHONE when I called to verify the had a NOTARY then I would have saved a trip. ABSENT customer service. Employee pointed at a paper sign that states "No Notary Service" And said "sorry bout that" WHATEVER. read more

i usually have my packages picked up by the carrier, but i needed to send something for my mother and this place was closed at 9:10am. un-freaking-believable. seriously? i hope this is not a corporate store, because someone is getting fired. i already had my package ready and the label taped down. all i needed was for them to take my package and give me a receipt, i had to drive all the way to stetson to the UPS store (whose line was unbearably long and their workers are slow at processing customer requests. read more

I love how much closer this place is than the post office. The owner is very very helpful! He custom cut a box for me to save money on shipping. He was very thorough and tried multiple boxes to make sure my item would fit and be safe. The wait is never long either so that is a plus! read more

Older gent manning the front desk just now. He was exceptionally unhelpful, to say the least. When I asked for assistance mailing my taxes, he just shrugged his shoulders. I repeated it again, and he suggested I go next door to the Super market to purchase a single envelope, and then come back. I'm so confused and frustrated. Postal Annex is supposed to assist with postage and shipping needs. This guy seem uninterested in both. read more

The owner was the only employee with a large line. He was quite rude and asked us one by one "what we wanted?" in a grunt. The copy machine was broken, no notary service. The shelves are empty. It's like customers are a bother to him (and them). Why are they in business? Very unprofessional! Without customers, you have no income. UPDATE on 5/16/18: This Postal Annex is under NEW OWNERSHIP. The new owner is nice, hard working, and welcoming! Guess the other people got burnt out and sold the business. read more

I sent a package here on 10/30/17. I do a lot of sales on eBay. I got a message on 11/06/17 from my buyer about her package. She stated that it was in preshipment stage which means it doesn't show that I shipped the item if you were to look it up on the tracking info. I called Postal Annex right away. The man who answered said that he's received 3-4 other complaints about the same issue and shifted the blame on the post office. I went in personally and spoke to an employee at the post office. She said they've received zero complaints. She asked me if I dropped the package off at the "place" by stater bros.? I said yes and she said don't ever take your packages there. I immediately called the store back and spoke to the same man who was now a complete jerk when I told him about my experience. I told him if it was the post office's fault then at some point when my package reached its next destination it would have been scanned in somewhere. I think someone stole my package from this facility. I don't think it ever made it to the post office. I was stupid not to get a receipt. They know which customers ask for a receipt and which ones don't. Please just go the extra few minutes and drop your packages off at the post office. This place is dishonest with lots of complaints filed. I went ahead and called Corporate. I had to refund my buyer back and my package is nowhere to be found. read more

Fist time visiting this location was in December for passport pictures for my family of 4, the guy working there took all pictures and then ran out of paper. Could only print 3 of the 4 photos and didn't seemed bothered that he couldn't do it. We then went to Walgreens for the 4th picture and we're told by their wonderful staff that you're not allowed to smile in the photos. Needless to say the $35+ we paid PostalAnnex was lost because we had to retake them at Walgreens. Out of "convenience" I came back today with a 42 lbs. box to ship via UPS under my account and....the same guy didn't haven't any labels to send under my account. Said I would have to pay them directly through UPS and again...he didn't seem bothered that he couldn't do it. Off to the next store with the same 42 lbs. box....needless to say, I will not be coming back! read more

Ever since Henry took over the store it's been amazing . The previous owner was so rude and mean. The store is cleaner, the shelves are always stocked , customer service is friendly and amazing ! All staff members are licensed notaries, you can come in and get a notary anytime without a wait . Good job Henry on fixing up the store . I will definitely be coming back . read more

Their website says they close at 4pm on Saturday I got there at a couple of minuted before 3pm and the doors were locked. They opened the door because they were letting someone out and the woman said they were closed. I said your website says you are open until 4 and she rudely said no 3. I had a huge box I was trying to mail so I had to lug it back to my car. Parking is horrible too. I will never go there again. Called the other one on Stetson and they said they were open until 4 and they were nice and open. Even though it is farther for me I will go there from now on. read more

I would not recommended this location to anyone that wants to have things done right! I paid high fees for an overnight delivery with expectations of professional services. What I received was the worst customer service by the owner/manager. My items were not delivered by the date of my receipt but 3 days later. I called to ask for a price adjustment and was told NO WAY !! I paid for overnight but that obviously didn't happen. I disputed it with my bank and was refunded my money. The owner tried to deny my refund with the bank. I would not recommend or refer anyone here. Worst service ever. My family and friends have found a new location in San Jacinto/hemet for our needs.
