I recently started attending classes at Cycology 202 after signing up for a great "back-to-school"…read moreoffer --- $49 for two weeks of unlimited classes, and I've had a great experience so far. Located in the Glen Eagle shopping center (near the Gap, not far from Whole Foods), there is plenty of parking available. Upon walking inside, I've always been immediately greeted, checked in, and offered my size of cycling shoes (which are required to wear, so bring socks but don't worry about your sneakers). Without prompting, the instructors have recognized that I am new and offered help in setting up my bike to suit my size. There is bottled water available for purchase and they place towels at each bike station prior to class. They do not allow cell phones in the exercise rooms. Once everyone is set up, the instructor turns up the music and dims the light except for a few spotlights on the instructor, which feels like a club atmosphere. At times, especially when encouraging us to pedal as quickly as we can, they actually turn the light off entirely, which helps to keep your focus on yourself. They encourage you to pedal to the beat, then adding additional movements like push-ups, crunches, and arm weights while pedaling --- which is a real challenge and a great full body work-out. Classes can be reserved in advance via their website or their app, and you are able to reserve a specific bike (which was useful for attending class with a friend). The studio also offers barre and HIIT classes, but I have yet to try those.

This place is awesome. Riding in a dark room with glowy lights makes it feel like a club. So much…read morefun.

Love this place! It's part of my weekly routine…read more Down to earth instructors who want to actually get to know you outside of class. Gaby's playlists are legit the best. The software and app for tracking your progress is great - class rank, calories, and power points so you can compare to yourself or the class. 40 bikes with plenty of room - where you can be seen in the front or hide in the back depending on your style. The stadium seating really helps everyone see the instructor. State of the art sound system is loud and really helps the experience (especially when you compare to other studios). Shoe rental is free and there's good availability of sizes, I've never had an issue. I do wish they had more retail available. I think that's the one area they're really missing out on. They celebrate birthdays, ride milestones, gender reveals like no other! Highly recommend if you're in the area for a class. Your first one is free!

Classes were fine. The manager and owner, Zack and Alan, are an absolute nightmare. Do not sign up…read moreif you ever think you might cancel!!! I found out I was pregnant shortly after signing up for a monthly membership and originally requested to freeze and purchase class packs instead. No response from them. Given the lack of handling the situation, I decided to cancel altogether, giving more than the required one months' notice, and eating the remaining one month cost that I didn't use due to travel. They charged me again the following month and it took an additional 2 weeks for Alan to agree to refund the charge, promising to call me to ensure everything was sorted. He never called (all of this happened over email as they refuse to get on the phone). I was charged again this month, despite trying now for three months to cancel. THIS PLACE IS SHADY AF.
