Delivery driver broke my kid's basketball hoop. Ohio Mulch representative promised they would give me a gift card for the inconvenience, then ghosted me.

Ohio Mulch advertised an outdoor Char-Griller charcoal grill for $60. I went to their website, placed it in my cart, ordered it and checked out. A week later, they e-mailed me to say that the $60 grill was not available, but sent me a link to a "comparable" grill that was $187. Classic UNETHICAL bait & switch. I'm not trying to pay THREE TIMES the advertised price for another grill. That's like advertising a $15k Honda Civic but only having a $50k Pilot. They could have back-ordered the $60 grill, or they could have offered a rain check, or they could have notified me when the $60 grill was available. They did none of those things. They CANCELLED my order the next day. I will not shop there again.

left is what was delivered, right is what they had at their store.

I ordered their bulk topsoil and it was basically mulch. It smelled like mulch, looked like mulch, and it burns (very dry). When I took them a sample, they told me it was their topsoil. Do not buy their topsoil, however it would make great ground cover, aka mulch. The picture shows what they delivered on the left, and what i pulled from their top soil bin. They told me they were the same.

Very poor customer service! Manager wouldn't even talk with me! Take your business elsewhere!

We had tried two other local nurseries plus Lowe's and Menards without success- sad looking plants and no help who could advise us on planting for our mostly shaded area. Natorp's was completely different and above and beyond our expectations! As soon as you drive in, it's beautiful and clearly marked. The woman at the customer service desk directed us to a perennial specialist who was so knowledgeable with 30+ years of experience! She helped us find everyone on our list and more. The plants are so well organized, labeled, and easy to find. And they were so healthy- even though it was fall when we visited! I can't stress enough how helpful everyone here was. We were helped by at least 4 people who were so smiley and engaging and willing to find anything for us. They shared that they grow everything there and that they have hundreds of acres! And the prices... you would expect a place like this to charge more for the experience and plant quality but they are an outlet so the prices are amazing. My mother in law is a seasoned gardener and told us she had paid almost 3x what we were paying for some of our plants. You get the "club price" just for buying it- so easy! They will load the plants in your car after, truly taking care of you until the last moment. We were still shopping til closing time and they didn't rush us out and helped us even a few minutes before close. This was a bit of a drive from us but worth every minute! We already know we'll come back when it's time to plant more of our yard, and will recommend it to anyone in the market for plants and a wonderful customer service experience.

I went with my family, and we walked around the outdoor nursery for a little while. My one year-old had fun playing in the gravel. I do not know much about the average cost of plants to know if the deals were good or not, but the plants themselves looked healthy and vibrant. I shopped for some groceries inside and was honestly disappointed to find so few local products. Because it is a farm market, I guess I just anticipated more things from local farms. I definitely found some! Just not as much as I was expecting. And then I was shocked at some of the prices. I understand being a local business can be tough and expensive, but sadly the prices were high enough that I I don't believe I would go out of my way to return, but would stop by for some produce if I was in the area. I will say that I bought one of the best watermelons of my life. It was just a quarter wedge, pre-cut. It was perfect in every way. My baby and I ate the entire thing in one sitting. They also had some produce that is not as normal to find, such as yellow, zucchini, and passionfruit. I grabbed a yellow zucchini because it was big and robust and bright yellow, and I had never tried one before. Oh! They also had a good price on beets-- which were legitimately three times the size of those at chain grocery stores.
