Brought someone here for a procedure. Staff were great throughout. The place is fairly new, some construction and additions still going on. Easy to get around, plenty of parking, great signage. In and out relatively quickly. Good communication with phone calls and texts. Our check-in card got us a free drink at the little Bistroh! downstairs. All in all a great experience for something that can be not a lot of fun. read more

Began working out and of course my spine decided to be a problem. (I have a an old injury that tends to be problematic). Went to the urgent care to see if this is a pinched nerve/slipped disce Of course before coming I was literally screaming in pain, so loud that the dogs became concerned and flanked me. Once at the urgent care all my muscels loosened up. I can see how they may not have understood my pain was past a ten five minutes before I checked in. Parking was easy. Big lot. Not a lot of people here Saturday evening. I got checked in. Waited maybe three minutes. Was taken to an exam room. Jerico took my vitals. Was pleasant but could noticeably tell he hated chit chat. Lol He excused himself and the wait for a provider began. While waiting I noticed this room smells weird. Gross weird. I dont even want to think about what it is but it smells like the trash needs emptied and the trash smells for lack of a more descriptive word. yucky. I think that conveys it. Kind of smells like a mixture of puke and disinfectant. Ew. See. Yuck. Doctor Haynes come is. Was relieved it wasn't another NP. Especially due to it being an upper back/neck injury. Thats mg big beef with this place the NPs. I explain some of my medical history. Explain the injury. She does an exam concluding its soft tissue causing the pain. And doesn't need an x-ray. I agree it doesn't need xrayed, but was wondering why she didnt lean to mri. Never did she mention it. Still holding fast to its an pulled muscle. I am 100000000000% sure it is more than that. So I ask for a referral to the spine clinic. She gives it to me I was sent home with lidocaine and muscle relaxer. I agree, those I needed. The entire visit took less than 30 from the time I sat down in the waiting room. The only thing I was surprised by there was no follow up call. Usually when you go to an ER in urgent care, especially with a neck injury staff follows up the next day That was not the case here no follow up was received. read more

I am very concerned about the care my family received at OSU Hospital Urgent Care on August 21, 2025. My 18 month old daughter was handled roughly by a nurse Kim, causing her to choke and vomit. This experience felt unsafe and unprofessional. Young children deserve compassionate, respectful, and safe care. I hope the hospital addresses this. read more

Impressive new outpatient facility with plenty of parking! Careful navigating to the building off the main road and watch out for that turn about! This was my first visit to the Ohio State Outpatient Care New Albany and was hear way too early for an endoscopic procedure. I made it through ok so happy to have it over. Checkin on the main floor was effortless and we were directed to the 2nd floor. I was here for about 2 1/2 hours and had a great experience. Every single person I came into contact with was outstanding in service and care. I would recommend this location especially for endoscopies. Other services here as well as my parter does his physical therapy here too. read more

This is a huge branch of Osu Wexner Medical Center. It's their New Albany location. I chose to come way out here because I could get an appointment quicker here. As usual the greeting and registration procedure was flawless and I didn't even have time to sit down for my doctors appointment and I was 10 minutes early. It was a quick appointment and I am on my way home 10 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start. Professional, skilled and friendly as ever. read more

This OSU practice only cares about cutting - no expertise in the important aspect of wound healing after pilonidal cyst surgery! Had 2 major surgeries within a 4 month period and my son still has a large wound that will not heal. No guidance from Dr Amber Traugott or OSU team in terms of how to manage the disease! After negligent patient management, we changed to Nationwide Children's Hospital where they actually have a pilonidal disease clinic! Here, we have received better care and more guidance with wound management! We are so thankful we switched but wished we went to Nationwide Children's Hospital first! read more

Beautiful, nearly New facility. When you enter the facility, it is bright and welcoming. The first people that you meet at the registration counter are very nice and helpful. I have only been here a few times but will say I was not too crazy about the Urgent Care providers ( I visited twice), and will definitely be finding a different location if I should ever need again. First time I went for very bad leg pain and was only given exercises for remedy, no prescription for pain meds... had to call a teledoc the next day for a prescription for pain. The next time was for a fall, and I had to insist to have an x-ray of leg and foot; plus when looking at summary of visit, there was a documentation of viewing my throat...something that was not done. So, yes, I will be looking elsewhere for any urgent visits. read more

STAY AWAY from this place! I went to OSU for upper GI endoscopy. Prior to the appointment I asked specifically what drugs would be given during the procedure. I was told midazolam would be used. I researched this drug and decided the procedure would be worth the risk of this drug. I also asked if there would be any possible complications to be concerned about or to watch for after the procedure. I was told it was a simple procedure and "most people recover and are on their feet within an hour, however you should not make any important decisions or sign any legal documents for 24hrs" I was also told that someone would go over what to watch for after the procedure. Procedure was at 10:00am. I woke up at 9:00PM at home in the worst pain of my life! No debrief as of yet. Looking at MyChart, I see that I was given Fentanyl during the procedure. They are not willing to explain why or what this drug was for. When I call and ask, they avoid the question and say "sorry, I don't have access to that information, you will have to ask the doctor". - dr still has not called back! My wife called the hospital at 4:30pm the day of the surgery to report that I was still completely unresponsive. The office was closed. My wife left a message for the "on call" doctor and was told we would receive a call shortly. That call never came. I still have received no communication on the findings of my surgery and am told by a triage nurse that since I am unable to eat or drink after over 24hrs that I should check in to the ER. - but not the ER by my house,,, go to OSU ER specifically. The communication from OSU has been intentionally misleading and deceiving. Stay away from this place! They are not here for the patient, they just want the money. I should have known when I asked about the recovery process and the nurse told me that "they would go over that AFTER the procedure" - I should have selected a different hospital!! Now I am sever pain, cannot eat or drink anything and cannot get a call back from anyone with answers. STAY AWAY! read more

After coming down with a cold that seemed to linger a little longer than normal, I was at my wits end trying to find a doctor that could see me. My cold wasn't COVID and with how rampant it's running in Columbus right now my family doctor wasn't available, not a single CVS minute clinic was available and urgent cares through OSU were difficult to get into. I was seriously advised to go to the ER. Yeah, not happening. Thank my lucky stars that this brand new outpatient facility in New Albany was open. While it was definitely way out of the way, I was able to make a same day appointment. Hallelujah! I made the trek out there a few hours later to discover this pristine building, surrounded by plenty of parking, right next to Target and Hobby Lobby. The greeter staff was super friendly and walked me directly to Tricia to check me in. From there I navigated my way past the little cafeteria and sat down to wait in the waiting room. I was the only one in there and my wait was a little long, especially after being taken back to a room and after seeing the doctor to get discharged. However, the doctor was fast, in and out in less than 5 minutes, and I was prescribed a cocktail of over the counter meds... wish they would have just responded to my mychart message instead of wasting all my time, but whatever. I know things are crazy right now. In the end, I would definitely recommend coming here. It appears to be OSU's best kept secret... for now. Everyone was really friendly and made me feel comfortable. I'm thankful they were able to help me out. I'm already feeling much better! read more

While the surgical team, nurses, and others directly involved in my medical care demonstrated professionalism and were highly-skilled, the problems and frustration I encountered in the Billing department resulted in this one star review. I found the billing processes to be opaque and inefficient; the staff indifferent, often demonstrating a lack of commitment to service excellence; and communication of such poor quality it caused me to question the billing department team's honesty and integrity. The issue I experienced with the billing department was not resolved until I escalated the matter to an executive outside the department. It is most unfortunate that the performance of one department can leave such a negative impression of what is, otherwise, an organization served by dedicated, highly-skilled professionals. I hope the operations managers assess and improve training and processes in the billing department to better serve their customers and colleagues. The OSU hospital brand deserves better, and so do the patients and healthcare professionals who serve them. read more

I went here to get my ekg and blood work done. This was only their second day open and EVERYTHING WAS SO CLEAN!!!! the staff was nice! There was construction everywhere and the entrance was a bit confusing but overall it wasn't bad! read more

This place is awful! The only nice people work in registration. From the surgery to a follow up with the urgent care to the physicians I wouldn't take my dog here. I've been going here for testing since July! They finally did surgery four weeks ago after depleting my finances with all the testing. The surgery was unsuccessful. At my post op the surgeon had her scheduler schedule me for a follow up procedure today to be performed by her associate. I showed up, he chastised me for having a follow up so soon. Um, I was only going by my drs advice. Then they wake me up in recovery 15 minutes after surgery and send me home all dizzy and light headed, no wheelchair or anything. When I got home I was so dizzy I accidentally bumped and flipped over the cat's dish full of food. Not a good call the way around. Avoid this place! I'm not going back ever! read more

OSU Wexner Medical is a first class facility. Very organized, professional, and efficient. I'm impressed with most all of my OSU Medical experiences at all locations. A little disappointed with my individual Dr office inside OSU, but in general the standards are kept higher than most of the healthcare market. This particular facility is flawless. read more

Don't waste your time going here. I will never go again. I give the doctors on staff a 1 star as well as the staff. Called with follow up concerns - left on hold once, promised a called back the second time then got no where on my third call. Lesson learned on my part. read more
