I came here today for the first time for some localized chest/back pain. I got great care and was in/out in 20 minutes. I saw a nurse practitioner, and he was very kind, personable, and professional. He gave me a thorough exam and explained everything to me. He helped me understand next steps and was very honest about his diagnosis/treatment (or lack thereof in my case), and did not unnecessarily run tests that he didn't have to. He gave me peace of mind without being condescending. Overall, I had a worthwhile visit. This isn't typically where I would go for urgent care needs, but I will definitely return here. read more

I came in for a visit and we have gone far over meeting our deductible this year. The lady at the front desk told me I'd have to pay the full out of pocket cost before being seen even though after meeting our deductible we only pay a 20% copay. I've never had this happen at any other urgent care and she told me they'd reimburse me later if I overpaid.....what?? She refused me to be seen because I refused to pay $160 when that's not what I should be paying. Unreal and super disappointed. I've visited this location and been happy many times but I'll be looking elsewhere from now on. read more

Called ahead to see if there was a wait, they said none. 15 min I arrived and there was a 1 hour wait. I brought my kid in for stitches, and as soon as she was seen, we were told that they could not do stitches. Total waste of time. read more

I have visited WUC on multiple occasions over the past several years. They provide excellent care. All covid protocols are in place. Service is prompt. Staff are efficient, courteous, and respectful of patient privacy. Prescriptions are ordered if needed. They do not hesitate to recommend a higher level of treatment: hospital emergency room, more powerful x-ray equipment, etc. I highly recommend their services. I went there four times to be treated for a skin tear. First time was easy. No one else there. Second time pretty good with wait time. Third time I showed up waiting room packed. Two hour wait. Fourth time an hour wait even though I had an appointment. Was told by a staff member that appointments are meaningless. It's still a first come, first serve basis. Staff seems frenzied. I scheduled a 11:45 appointment on a Sunday. Arrived 30 minutes early. No other patients were in the waiting room nor arrived while I was waiting. Was taken to a room at 11:45 and waited there for a full hour before I was seen by a doctor. Then my "exam" lasted only 2 minutes, no explanation of virus nor expectations for recovery time frame nor other OTC suggestions. read more

Covid Test Results take TWO weeks! I was swabbed a week ago Monday and was told the results would be back in 4-7 days. It's now 12 days later and still nothing! When I call, they just say "Sorry...once it's sent to the lab (Quest) it's out of our hands". This is the first negative review I have ever posted but I think it's important for folks to be aware so you can get your test somewhere else if you can't afford to wait two weeks for the results. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because they were kind and efficient when I went to go take the test. read more

Horrible place to go. Went for a sinus infection , sinus pressure and head congestion. Was made to have a covid test before the doctor would prescribe a decongestant. They want the federal funding for testing and will pressure you or turn you away if you don't get covid tested. This is a joke. Even answered the covid question all negative no symptoms at all. Go somewhere that actually will treat you for what you need to be seen for. read more

They ignored my symptoms (sore throat, fatigue, chest pain, sob, ear pain, fever,etc.) for 1 month. I did not have a PCP , so I was relying on this urgent care. They misdiagnosed me with pharyngitis and kept giving me steroids/antibiotic. My condition was getting worse and I called them after 5 days. They asked me to continue taking meds. Nothing was getting better , so I went there again after 5 days. I had very bad fatigue and couldn't walk properly and asked them to do my blood work and check my hemoglobin. They thought i was overthinking and said they will do throat culture instead. I called them again after 3 days to know throat culture result which was negative of course. I asked what's next because I didn't know what to do and I was in so much pain. The staff on phone said - At this point, we CANNOT DO anything and just try OTC. I felt helpless but I thought maybe they are right as they are experts and believed That nothing was serious. If something was serious, they would have asked me to go to ER,etc. 3 days later, I woke up with vision loss in one eye and then I ran to ER where they diagnosed me with acute blood cancer. They were shocked knowing how urgent care had been so careless. I had so much internal bleeding in those 3-4 weeks that I have some permanent damage now including my vision loss. Had urgent done listened to me and did blood work, they must have found the abnormalities and i would have got diagnosed earlier which could have saved my permanent damages. read more

I lost a battle with mandolin a couple of weeks ago and cut a huge chunk of skin off from my right thumb. I'm a stubborn Vermonter and thought I could take care of it on my own. Given the amount of pain I continue to have I decided to search for a good urgent care facility and found Worthington Urgent Care. It had good yelp reviews so that's where I went. The woman at the front desk was very friendly, as was Ericka, the medical assistant. I cannot recall the name of the doctor unfortunately. He was a very nice gentleman and after he examined my thumb set me at ease, my thumb was not going to rot off. They wrapped me up, prescribed an antibiotic, and gave me clear wound care instructions. When I left I was 100% comfortable with the care I received. I absolutely recommend this urgent care. read more

Unfortunately this bad review is based solely on the front desk staff person who made an already scary and stressful situation worse by our interaction with her and her attitude. The female employee working the front desk when we attempted to admit our 2 year old daughter who was showing some scary symptoms that developed quickly was the opposite of helpful. I clearly understand in this COVID environment the need to have processes in place before entering a building, but when inquiring how quickly we could be seen and expressing concern as to how slow it was taking she lacked any friendliness, sympathy or outward concern and was instead very curs, rude and aggressive, telling us the process by shouting to go to our car several times. When my daughter and I were finally able to enter and my mom tried to also enter, she responded again by yelling at my mom to go back to her car. Again, totally understand that she was not allowed to enter due to capacity and COVID restrictions but the attitude was not acceptable. I would encourage this person to look for a profession that does not involve helping people in a healthcare setting. read more

I am so dependent on my parents when it comes to health care and going through the process of signing in and getting things squared away. But everyone here from the front desk to the doctor was phenomenal. The front desk lady took me under her wing, helped me step by step (basically writing my name for me) and the nurse and doctor were quick, informative and very helpful! Had a really bad infected foot, couldn't walk. They're in my neighborhood, so managed to drive there. They met me at my car, put me in a wheelchair & took really good care of me. Very clean facility. VERY friendly & caring staff - from the lady at the front desk, nurse, xray tech, to Dr. I'm horrible at remembering names, but nurse was Ben, great guy! They even wheeled me next door to get my RX & back to my car. Called to follow up & see how I was doing. Highly recommend this facility. read more
