The pricing is fair. If you think about it, where would we be without this service? I am grateful that they come to my home and carry away my trash. I pay online, and once I had an issue when they did not receive my payment. But I talked to them, and we worked it out. I didn't feel they were rude or disrespectful. I may have been short because of the aggravation of having to do the payment again. Not their fault. I would recommend.

Just read all the negative reviews…read more Not only do they not actually pick up your trash but the billing is way below subpar, like 1980's no actual account bad. Everyone is put on yearly billing because it is easier...for them. God help you is you get behind. Here is what you can expect. See love letter posted below. I have been a customer for years and you can count on a 20% non-pick up rate. This is because the tracking is the same as their Billing...almost non-functioning. The cans are not tracked and is you're like me living in the country my neighbors cans are right next to mine....sooo if one is in fault the whole stop is skipped. I called to let them know and was greeted with your account was closed for non-payment. Please see attached Statement! Note the balances...I have been making payments just throwing money as kind of a bill pay. As you can see the balance was nominal and reoccurring payments are being made. I'm being treated for cancer and money is VERY tight in this tough economy. Note the statement does not indicate ANY past due amounts of any kind but I did get (in the same statement) the legal threat....so that was nice. This is straight up bulling tactics buy a company with a THUG mentality. I immediately called the service rep at Not Best Way (NBW) and asked to speak to an account manage to let them know I made a payment and to turn on my service. Well I was bounced to voice mail and left a message...nothing but crickets in reply. That was 3 weeks ago and today on my pick up day...no service. In closing - Customer service...terrible I mean talking over your issues while you try to get relevant answers from the minion answering the phone. - Actual service: not too bad and you can't blame the drivers doing what they are told by the suits. - Billing: Basically this company is stuck in the 1980's. No ACH transfer...No actual information on past use status. NO ONLINE ACCOUNT VERIFICATION. I know a 13 yr old that can set that up! The KICK in the privates is when you finally get to a "service" manager you have ZERO escalation path. I was told there is no corporate phone number because they will only refer the complaint back to the "Lack of Service" manager. Do yourself a favor and just DON'T! you will eventually have a problem with NOT BEST WAY. At the end of the day NBW turned off my trash pick up a month ago with no actual notification on the statements, no phone call no late payment notifications on a person throwing up after chemo treatments. The upside is I did get the lovely legal action letter! In the words of Best Way owners Mike and Ralph Balkema "websites and graphic design aren't their strong suit". The poor lady who answers the phone must listen to me painfully remind her that they missed me again. She tries to give me hope that the day is not over yet. Hope is a good thing however, I become depressed each time I go get my mail and see the poor untouched can. It's the same routine each day. I hold my nose, open the lid, only to see my poor trash baking in the can. The poor bags are all mangled and stuffed in there. The smell is so bad. I am always assured by some lady that they are still working and there is still hope but later on the next call they give me another date. My hopes will be dashed again as the next dates comes and goes even though more calls are made. We played this game again this week. They missed me Wednesday Morning. I called and was told they are still on the route. I call later as I am worried for my trash and I do enjoy this game and again I am assured they will pick up my trash on Friday. I was actually walking Thursday and saw the truck within 50 yards of my house. As I walked past the truck I started to remind the guy, but I just knew it was going to get picked up and I was on a business call. I later called the company and tried to help them do their job. I said just tell your guys to pick up my trash today and save yourself from an extra trip on Friday. I was told no as I was logged in for Friday pick up. Well I played the game on Friday where I hold my nose and lift the lid at 2:00PM. It was so depressing seeing the rotten decaying trash still in the can. I again felt sorry for my trash. So we play our little game and I call again. The lady was a little short with me, but I must admit my tone was a little sarcastic and some people do not appreciate sarcasm. However, I was assured again that it's only 2:00PM and they do not close till 5:00 and they are in route. It's about 7:30pm on Friday night. I am quite sure they are not coming. My poor trash. Best Way do log all calls so everything in this post can be verified. This is my first one star Yelp Review. I know I can just change companies, but have decided that it is now my mission to help this company get better. Hopefully I can help the leadership grow? After all as a school superintendent, people were always trying to help me. I am just returning the favor. Starting tomorrow, I am going to call Best Way each and every day. Thus I will call tomorrow (Saturday) Monday and Tuesday to remind them about picking up my trash each Wednesday. If we go a month without missing pick-up. I will take one day off a call each week. I will continue to do Yelp Reviews and place my reviews on Facebook to my 2500 friends. I want all the employees at Best Way to understand that I am just on my route each day in trying to help Best Way become a better company.
