I had my surgery rescheduled at my request so I could have time to care for my dad as he's not been well. I was unable to return the call to schedule labwork, I reached out to the scheduling to clarify a few things regarding my not scheduling the labwork and to explain a few concerns I had. Central scheduling cancelled my appointment with the surgeon for pre-surgery weight check, ignored my provided information about my shunt, kept saying they would have to send me to another hospital because I'm ONE POUND over the weight limit, and also called this hospital by the old name, thus sending me to the wrong website to a hospital 2 hours from my home when they really mean one 30 minutes from me that is under a new name. I write to the office to try and clear this up, I get a reply of "Surgery cancelled at your request" and they did not address ANY of the concerns I laid out in my message to the office. So now I have no surgeon for my gallbladder, all thanks to a lousy office that can't respect the fact their patients can't always call back right away. The lab work wasn't required until 2 weeks before surgery, they called me 4 weeks before hand, for lab work that could change in two weeks time. Premier was willing to work with me on my schedule for a previous surgery, without any of this mess. So thanks for nothing, Kettering.

I walked in on a Sunday, May 24th 2026, at about 1:00 PM, no one at all was in the waiting room…read more The receptionist asked if I had an appointment, I did not realize that one had to have "an appointment" at Urgent Care, I asked the receptionist if there was a wait and she said no but that there were had appointments every 15 minutes and she could "not guarantee" when I could be seen, even though again, the place was empty. In the midst of taking my insurance information, the phone rang and instead of asking the caller to hold so that she could finish just simply adding my info to the system (which I am sure they had due to this not being my first visit) , she took the call. She proceeded to talk with this call for about 10 minutes while I stood there waiting. Apparently, we was going to be sure I would not be seen due to, i(f there were indeed) "appointments every fifteen minutes" the next person was about to walk into the door. The receptionist had a terrible attitude from the time I walked in, this is definitely the last thing one needs to deal with when undergoing a sudden health issue. I had to interrupt her call in order to ask for my insurace card back so that I could go somewhere else that actually cared about their patients. Do better, Premier Health and perhaps try and find a bit more of a compassionate human being as your receptionist.

I recently moved to East Dayton and decided to ditch Kettering Health Network and support something smaller. Boy did I make a mistake. This place will see you only to make you reschedule to do blood work. I've been 3 times now and if they had their way they would have seen me at least 6 times. At $90 a visit (after Cigna pays their part) Even once is too much. Had to a see a doc who wasn't my primary one, today for an emergency. She would not speak to me about anything but the emergency (wanted her to order a blood test) and was just flat out rude. To the point I commented "someone is extra friendly today" Her response was asking me if I wanted to leave...NO i just waited 40+ minutes and that was our first 5 minutes of interaction. The office visit lasted only 10 min and I was prescribed some antibiotics. I would not even crawl in here if I had just broken both legs and happened to be right in front of this building. I started coming to this practice based on a referral from a friend. I love my doctor (Williams)…read moreand never have a wait or any issue with checking in or out. Appointments are sometimes easy to secure and other times a few weeks out. However the front desk gave me a tip to call in early to check for cancellations. My doctor is very patient and always listens to me and provides follow up care or a referral if needed. The practice offers the option to have blood drawn there or you can do so at a lab. I elected to do in office to save a trip but the nurse pricked me 3 times before she called over another nurse who was successful. My daughter also endured the same fate. I like "my chart" which is available online and have used to monitor my blood test results because the callbacks are not alway as thorough. My suggestion is to ask for lab or test results if you aren't clear as some are not available to view online.
