Last year I sent a package as a gift and that friend has become a regular mail order customer. This year, for my sister-in-law's birthday, I recalled her saying how she has enjoyed several varieties at my house and hoped to get to the shop sometime when she was in town from Morgantown. So I sent her a box, and over the past few days she has been so enthusiastic I am getting constant reports on everything she is using the seasonings on. Dill Pickle salt on fries. Bagel on Grant seasoning (which is the best bagel seasoning you have ever tried, I promise you) on avocado toast, at my recommendation. She was trying them straight out of the jar the first evening she received them. They are honestly that good. I love the Black and Gold blend on corn or eggs, and during a time I was dropping a lot of weight a few years ago the Steeltown Garlic and Herb was my go-to, as it still is, when roasting trays of potatoes, veggies and tofu for meal prep. An unsung hero in the line is the relatively new Unsalted Shallot and Chive, which is a great addition to so many things and a nice option if you are trying to watch your salt intake. Customer service is super quick and helpful, if you are ordering online the orders arrive in a blink, but if you have a chance to stop out at the shop definitely do. Millvale is a great part of town and the shop is fun to browse.

As I walked around the store to browse the merchandise, an employee greeted me. I saw many types of peppers, spices, herbs, teas, sugars, honeys, and more. I thought that the prices were moderate to high. I selected a carne-asada blend, a banana-nut muffin herbal tea, and a tea infuser for $33 plus tax. At the checkout, one customer was ahead of me in line, and I waited several minutes for my turn. A tea bar was there for freshly made teas. The cashier rang up my purchase and told me to have a great weekend. At home, I used the tea and infuser, and I liked them. Soon I will try the spices.

Prices are a little high, but I occasionally splurge on the hand soaps, because they lather and cleanse my skin well, and they smell good. During my most recent visit to this location, the employees were very nice. They greeted me at the entrance, and then they allowed me to wander throughout the store without being pestered. At the checkout counter, the cashier was also very nice. The hand soaps were on sale, but I still paid a total of $20 plus tax for four bottles. Of course, other stores sell hand soaps that cost less, but I like the fruity scents that I picked out.
