They've worked on my 2017 Ford Transit Connect, 2014 Mercedes GL63, and 2014 BMW X5. They replaced a driver-side CV axle, did oil changes, replaced brake pads and rotors, diagnosed and fixed an A/C and heater blower issue, repaired a trunk/liftgate problem, and also replaced a valve cover and gasket and battery. What stood out to me most was how knowledgeable, honest, and fair Samson and his team were throughout the process. The staff are friendly, the front desk is welcoming, and the customer service has been great. It's hard to find a shop that does quality work at reasonable prices, but 916 Auto Repair has done that for me. Definitely recommended.

I took it to a mechanic (No Name) here in CH and they billed me $210.00 and couldn't locate the issue, so I brought it home. Well, this past Saturday my car wouldn't start, so I was told by a very good friend that I take it to TN3 Automotive, which I did (Had my car towed) on Tuesday. I'd previously contacted the owner, Tom, informing him my car was being towed to his shop, and so he took basic information regarding what types of issues I'd been experiencing, which I provided. I met Tom the following day, and he was genial, kind, listened intently, and just a solid individual through & through. He exudes honesty & integrity, and assured me he'd locate the issue, and he did just that. The thoroughness of his Teams assessment of my vehicle, every part captured by clear photos that included a specific narrative of my car parts issue, and whether it was deemed an emergency fix, or just watch & keep an eye on it was noted, & reassuring. Not once did he advise that I needed this or that done to my vehicle, but clearly enunciated in line of priority things I should take care of. Ended up being a PGMFI Main Start Relay why my car wouldn't start. Out the door for $340.00. Car is running excellent!! I have very high expectations of service providers, and he exemplifies the highest of integrity & standards!! The business owner, Charles, made an afternoon appointment and met us at the Hertz car sales lot right on time. His inspection took just over an hour and when it was done, Charles explained his findings to us. It was clear to us that Charles has deep automotive expertise - plus he is an excellent communicator, patiently answering all of our questions. In the end we had a list of issues to present to Hertz, and their standard sales contract was amended to require Hertz to address/resolve these issues before our car is delivered in the next day or two. By the time we got home Charles had emailed us a 6 page written report for our records. In addition, the fee he charged was very reasonable. I had received other quotes that were $10 and $20 higher, and they required you to take the car to their location. Having a mobile inspection service made the logistics so much easier. Bottom line - we highly recommend this business. It was great to have an automotive expert looking out for our best interests when buying a used car.

Decent Work, But Communication and Pricing Left a Bad Taste…read more I'll give them this much: the brake repair on my 2001 Ford Ranger was solid. They did good work getting me stopping again, and their assessment of the other deferred repairs the truck needs was thorough and informative. But two major issues bring this down. The Communication Problem Chris from the service desk kept saying he'd call or email me with updates -- and then... nothing. Left me hanging more than once. I shouldn't have to chase down answers about my own vehicle. That's basic customer service. The Pricing This is where I have real concerns. I had my regular mechanic look at the same itemized report. AAA Citrus Heights Auto Repair Center charged 66% more than my trusted guy for the same work. Here's the thing -- my truck wasn't drivable. The brakes failing made it unsafe. When a customer is in that position, they don't have much leverage to shop around. That puts us in a vulnerable spot, and the pricing feels predatory as a result. The One Bright Spot They did honor my Veterans discount -- 10% off a roughly $1,500 bill. I appreciate that, and the staff who applied it were professional. Bottom Line The actual repair work was good. The assessment was thorough. But the communication failures and what feels like opportunistic pricing mean I won't be going back -- and I can't in good conscience recommend them without caveats.

This freaking Mike guy…read more Everything was going well until my girlfriend called me with questions. This is after receiving a quote for parts and labor Mike- who was that? Me- oh, my girlfriend. Mike- we don't like it when people question the mechanic. It makes us not want to the work at all" Me: oh lol. Mike: I'm serious. Then he rewrites the quote and tells me I have to go get my own parts now. Me "because what my girlfriend asked?!" Mike "yes" I went to a couple stores in the area and one of them guessed that it was Mike from the story. I went to the service department across the street and that guy, named guy was cool. He actually offered a diagnostic, Mike did not. But with the diagnostic and a new alternator, it's cheaper than Mike was going to charge. Also when I told him I wasn't letting him go near my car and I was taking it to another place because of his rudeness, he asked if it was because I was a sissy. this guy can take a flying kick at a rolling doughnut. Shady as hell. ​rude as hell. And other yelp reviews say he ripped them off. I gotta check the brake job he did last week, when I have a chance. Hopefully he didn't screw up my car on purpose to get me to come back. I initially thought my brakes were installed wrong, so I went back.
