Omg! I came in for a late lunch and I don't even know where to start. I'm speechless. The sushi was rubbery and tasteless. They kept letting it run out without bringing out more. Most of the dishes didn't have labels so you didn't know what you were eating. If you enjoy mystery meat, this is the place! The food was all dried and looked so unappetizing. I actually found myself spitting my food back onto my plate. The only redeemable things were the breaded egg plant (which I had to use a knife on), the frog legs, and the ice cream bar. My family sat down to eat at this restaurant, on the buffet side. My grandson started choking after eating only 2 bites of his cheese pizza. He was finally able to cough out what was choking him. It was a sharp piece of rusty metal! Possibly from a cleaning brush or something. Upon alerting restaurant staff we were told "accidents happen". No apology. No concern whatsoever. Completely nonchalance. Unacceptable! We made a report with the health department and left right then. We will not be back. read more

Updated Review -- Overall the food is still good. My sushi roll was delicious but the rest left a bit to be desired compared to how it typically is. The server was excellent. However, the strangest part was how overtly unfriendly the woman at the front counter was that sat us. She seemed annoyed to even have any customers. We just walked in with smiles on our faces and said "2" when she asked how many. She didn't say anything else and looked angry. She walked us to our table and literally threw a singular menu on the table lol. So we took turns looking at the dirty menu. The table was also sticky, and the vents in the ceiling were so so dirty. We were sat in some type of overflow room, even though we initially politely requested the hibachi area. The hostess pretended like she didn't hear us, keeping with her theme. So all that to say -- aside from the bizarrely rude woman at the front and some sanitation issues while dining, I still think the sushi here is good. Will probably only get takeout though from now on. I've never tried the buffet as buffets aren't really my thing so I can't speak on that. read more

Went there today with my two daughters- Hostess was not very friendly. The food was was okay - nothing special ,but passable . Our waitress never came and asked us if we needed anything- and when we called her for drink refills , it seemed to irritate her to no end. There werent' many people in there so there's no excuse for the poor service we got. We were in there back in Feb on Valentine's day and the service was much better .. Don't fooled yourself by looking at the big billboard sign on the road ................so I did head over to the restaurant usually my first impression is 98% accurate the first thing I notice when walked into the place was dead was empty 96% no good at all I had the chance to walk out the door but I prefer to try it and see it for myself ......I guess my instincts was accurate the food was so dry and old and lost my appetite that's a good way to loose weight and I shouldn't know better than that and is hard to find a good authentic Asians restaurants here in the southern states.! read more

This is a Chinese super buffet, hibachi grill, and sushi restaurant. It looks unassuming on the outside, but it has tons of seating inside. It's really nice and clean inside. The Chinese buffet is awesome. It's fresh and the selection is great. The hibachi is excellent as well, but I've never had bad hibachi. To me, the sushi is what sets it apart in paris. This place has amazing quality and presentation on the sushi rolls. They have the type of sushi you'd hope to find in a major metro area. For comparison, it's way better and cheaper than Jasmine in murray, miso's in paris, or the sushi place in Union city. I thought it was better than any Asian place in Jackson as well. Great place for buffet. Two of my boys (ages 8 & 16) love it. Their lunch buffet is good but their dinner buffet is even better with additional selections like steak, oysters and mussels. Both the lunch and dinner buffet have sushi and stuffed clams which my boys love. We will have to try the grill sometime. My wife even likes this buffet and it is sometimes a challenge for her to try something diffferent. We both love the bourbon chicken. The fried rice is great also. beware that oishii japanese buffet is not a japanese buffet at all. it is a mediocre chinese buffet. anything japanese (except sushi) is alla carte! for a bowl of mizu soup you would have to pay $2.00 extra and same thing with the hibachi food, which i did not date to inquire. the service was okay. friendly waitresses. bathrooms need cleaning because some patrons can not aim properly at the toilet bowl. the lunch menu was a fair price of $6.99. there was small shrimps and the regular traditional chinese cuisine items. nothing special about it. so if you are a bait for japanese food...beware that the switch will cost you ectra bucks. oishii, which means yummie in japanese, is far from delicious. it is a regular chinese buffet, or if you come from florida, you would find it to be comparable to the worse chinese buffet down there. i will not return to oishii. lunch at your own disappointment if you crave for japanese food other than sushi. or at best, be ready to pay extra dollars for your japanese cuisine. read more
