I ask where the headbands are, and she says straight back on the left. I go back and why did the lady doing inventory come and start working back where I was at? The ladies are always very friendly and helpful and the store is always spotless. I confirmed with Mielle that the products that this beauty supply sells are not coming from them. Their high end black luxury hair products are not the same as from the company website. I love getting product here and it's close by to my house but I don't really like that I got rushed out. I came around 5:30 thinking I came early since online it say they close at 7:30. I was looking for some specific products today and the lady said everything they have is there and that I had 5 mins bc they close at 6 . It was around 5:52pm. I too have been to this store many times. And like many others, I ha e been watched. Wherever I went, they went. Along the counter aisle to aisle. If I changed aisles, they moved along the counter right along with me. So I 'danced' with them for a few moments, confirmed what they were doing and I went to the counter and addressed it. At first they tried to deny that's what they were doing but I pointed out every move and how I did not need to be followed as there are too many establishments around that I could patronize. 10/25/19 As I sit here in my car I am shaking from the humiliation that I have experienced at this establishment for THE LAST time. I needed a lipgloss but didn't want to go to mall to get one. I stopped by this beauty supply because it was convenient and on my way home. I never come in this store with a purse because the employees ALWAYS make me feel uncomfortable when I shop here being an AA woman. I brought in only a wallet. I couldn't find the lipgloss that I initially came for so I had to look around for a similar color. As I looked, the woman at the counter made it no secret that I was being watched with an eagle eye. I am a 42 year old employed and educated mother who doesn't look like anyways shoplifter or thug. I discovered the original lipgloss that I came for and as I walked down the aisle at other products, the employee IMMEDIATELY went to survey the area of lipglosses that's I was looking at. I brought the lipgloss up to the counter and told her that I felt more comfortable with her having it in front of her than walking around watching me shop. My feelings are tremendously hurt and after I purchased two lipgloss, I told them that I will no longer be shopping at their business again. I told her that I have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars in that store and I always feel watched and uncomfortable shopping here. This was my first experience in buying hair for my Extensions. I paid $190 for so called 100% human hair. It's only been 4 days and the hair is terrible,I went to paulines hair and they said it was synthetic hair with less than 10% human hair. What a scam their allowed to say 100% if there's only a little. I'm going on Friday to see what their going to do about this and to rectify their lies. Needless to say I'm going to only go to paulines. FYI the only places that 100% human hair comes from is Malaysia and India If it's from anywhere else it's Fake!! Total Bs Lesson learned regardless.
