I started where every clueless, first time home buyer starts; big orange......aka home depot. I mean, they were nice enough, quick enough and well yeah, come measure because I have zero idea about how much square footage is here. Plus free installation has to count for something. Totally happy. Until the estimate came. Maybe I didnt need memory foam padding? Could I get by with that nontexture office carpet? Maybe the stains in my current carpet arent THAT bad. But something told me to check good ol' trusty yelp. I sent one message, just one. In reply I got an up front estimate that beat hd by 1k bucks. Plus super quick service, an additional measure the next day and carpet installed 4 days later (including the weekend!). I had to sacrifice nothing....not the padding, not the warranty and not the style/quality. Everybody has complaints about install, right? I mean, there has to be a catch somewhere? It cant be this freakin easy and afforable. WRONG! The installer came at exactly the time I was told. I mean, to the minute and on the dot. He helped me disassemble a bed, cleaned up every little thing as he went and he even had some good, original jokes. You can just tell when someone not only enjoys what they do but also are really good at it...and this was the vibe i got from the installer. Im incredibly happy with this entire process. Thank god for Yelp and even moreso, thank god for ok coral carpet. If you're reading this...just do your wallet, home and feet a favor and call them. read more

Don't waste your time going down the list wondering who to call. Just call OK Corral--Leon and Claudia are awesome! Their prices are reasonable and their customer service is stellar! They went above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered (even the dumb ones) and kept us informed of the timeline from order to installation. The morning of the install the guys came in ready to go-they moved all the furniture, ripped up the old gross stuff, and had new padding and carpet in seven rooms in the course of 1 day. YES!! ONE DAY! These guys are rock stars!! I've been in other homes with new carpet and they have a funky lingering smell after. I assumed all new carpet comes with that smell and I was dreading that. But guess what--Not OK Corral. Of course you have the seaming smell as they get everything installed, but when they walked out and we sat down to look around and admire our floor-we couldn't smell a thing. And yes, they put the furniture back too! Thanks Claudia and Leon for making our home look like brand new! So if you've read this far--just commit and give them a call. These guys were amazing. They went above and beyond for my clients. I called for my clients to get 2 bids. They came in at $120 and the other company $300. When they got there the seller asked them to do a few more things. They removed the large built in desk, hauled it away, repaired the carpet below the desk, and painted the wall all for an affordable price. I had a tiny carpet job. Unfortunately, the fellow forgot samples when he came to my home, so I had to make a trip to their warehouse and they weren't very organized with pricing or samples. I did pick a remnant and the price was great and the installation went fantastic. Installer was great! They were very nice to deal with, just a bit unprofessional on the retail side, but I feel I got a great deal. read more

Horrible service. First, he arranged to come quote the job on a Friday, didn't show and didn't call. Called Saturday and tried to say that's when our appointment was scheduled. Admitted once here that he was wrong about that. Took measurements and said I would have a quote by Monday. Didn't send it. On Tuesday I asked about it and he replied "I will check on it". Not a word from him until I asked again on Friday at which time I was told he LOST THE MEASUREMENTS and wanted to come back to measure again. I sent him the measurements instead and he STILL didn't quote. Never heard another word from him. Totally a waste of my time. read more

When I bought my home 2 years ago my realtor suggested them to put my floors in. All of the floors were installed on the arranged day and didn't take too long. The only issue was that the installer insisted on blasting a radio very loudly all day in my 55+ community which was inconsiderate of not just MY environment but the neighbors as well. Fast-forward to March 2021. I have one room left to put more flooring in. It hasn't been done because first I was told the color I want is no longer available. A week later I checked on line and it appears Lowes had it. So I told Leon and he said he'd come measure on a Saturday. The whole day passed with no phone call or indication of when he was showing up. So I called and he and his son arrived a half hour later. They measured. A few days later told they still can't do this floor. Then a few days after that I emailed to see of there was an alternative. Leon said his wife came to my house to have me look at samples. COMPLETE LIE. No one called to make an appointment for me to look at samples...AND I HAVE A NEST CAM AND COULD SEE THAT NO ONE EVER ARRIVED TO MY HOME FOR ME TO LOOK AT SAMPLES. If taking the time to do a floor in one room in my home was too small a job for them to bother with all they had to do was say so and not waste my time. I've run my own business in the past and I would never treat customers like this. Or maybe it was because I'm a single minority woman with a bit of money to spend? Don't hate. Bad business practices. Sorry to have to write this review but will seek a better company to work with and finally get my guest bedroom completed. read more

I just had OK Corral come over this morning to complete the transition from tile to carpet in my entryway. This was a last minute request, as I called yesterday afternoon and they were here this morning bright and early. Everyone was so nice and polite. The owner, as he was leaving, spotted a baseboard with a gap in it and quickly came back with some caulk to fix it. So nice! Everything was done quickly, professionally and I can honestly say you would have no idea they were here because they cleaned up so well! The end result is just beautiful. The price is more than reasonable. I highly recommend this company. They really are that good! I originally had a friend who highly recommended OK Corral. I decided to use them after receiving 3 bids. They were not the low bid. My carpet needed to be ordered so they required 1/2 of the total fee up front. This was not an issue for me so I agreed to pay it. The next day I received an invoice via e-mail which was for more money than what we originally agreed upon. It seems they did not include the additional fees to move the furniture even though it was openly discussed. They did not phone me to let me know of this increase in price. I did e-mail them to let them know my disappointment. My thought is that if you make a mistake on your quote at least be professional enough to let me know. This did not occur. They also indicate their installation warranty is for 2 years. I asked if that was documented anywhere in writing and I was told it would be written on the final invoice. It was not. The two installers worked very hard. I believe the job merited 3 workers as they had great difficulty moving the furniture back after the install. They asked me about one piece of furniture in particular which they were having trouble getting closer to the wall. They asked if they could leave it where they had it and I agreed. Unfortunately my wife could not get thru this area with her walker. I spoke with Leon of OK Corral and he said he would have the team call me about coming back. They never did. Carpeting and pad sampled did not match product installed (ended up being much more dense, like cheap hotel carpeting). After installation, walking on the carpet caused mirrored closet doors across the room to vibrate, which was particularly irritating and noisy and upset the neighbors below. Ok Corral could not explain why the carpeting was not as expected and argued that everything was the same as the sample, but 4 different carpet experts confirmed that I did not receive the underlying pad I was promised. Ok Corral would not refund any money or fix the problem unless I was willing to pay more-- unacceptable as I should not have to pay more to fix a problem that wasn't my fault-- bottom line, this company is a rip-off and won't guarantee their work or remedy problems :( read more
