If you are looking for flooring of any kind, you would be nuts not to check out Floor Daddy first. I just got flooring with Floor Daddy and from start to finish they were there to inform me and help me with my decisions. The workers were polite and on time everyday. I had some issues with my floors and they worked right through the problem and even worked on Sunday to get the job done. Balthazar and his crew were excellent and answered all my questions. Sheryl was great for support and updating me on every step of the installation. Nick also with getting the ball rolling. Four years free financing, air duck cleaning included and they bring flooring to you. Also 2 years accident replacement and lifetime warranty. Could not recommend them higher. read more

Do not Recommend one bit. The company was very responsive during the initial quote and sales process, and scheduling the install was quick, which gave us confidence going in. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. They sent a two-person crew to install carpet in five rooms in one day, and the workmanship reflects that pace. I raised concerns during the install about the transitions and how the carpet was "tucked," but those concerns were not properly addressed. After the crew left, I moved a couch back into place and discovered areas where the carpet had been snagged. It actually made sense in hindsight why they kept asking if I wanted extra carpet pieces. The following day, a QA supervisor, David, showed up unannounced while our home was being painted. I showed him what I could, and he agreed that the work was not up to standard and shouldn't look the way it does. Since then, communication has been extremely disappointing. I was told someone would reach out to get us scheduled for repairs, but as of 3/25, I've received no follow-up. I've called and texted multiple times with no response and still have not been scheduled. At this point, the biggest issue isn't just the poor workmanship, it's the lack of accountability and follow-through. It shouldn't take this much effort to have a job done correctly the first time, or to have issues resolved afterward. read more

We love the end result but there were a few hiccups. We got carpet in most of the house which requires a huge amount of work and inconvenience to move so much stuff out of the way. There was only a two person crew which guaranteed it was a two day job instead of a one day install. The crew was great and they worked really hard. Communication is next to nonexistent. My husband had to call 4 times to report our problems. The first time someone was supposed to come, no one showed up, and we were not contacted. A person came, unannounced, to fix the issues. He did not fix all the issues. We had to call again. No one called us back. The floor in the bedroom is uneven. Are they ever going to fix it? I found out from my brother-in-law (who has done flooring for over 40 years) that there is a 30mil weight that they recommend for people with wheelchairs. That option wasn't even presented to us. Now the financing has become a problem. It's supposed to be no payments for 3 years. They are requesting a payment of over $600 a month. read more

I reached out to Floor Daddy after attending a home show, and I'm so glad I did. The representative I spoke with quickly scheduled a home visit to discuss what I was looking for, go over pricing, and assess the scope of work. When Jed arrived, he was friendly, professional, and best of all, he didn't use any high-pressure sales tactics. The quality and price were exactly what I wanted, so I signed the contract. My carpet arrived quickly, and scheduling installation was effortless. Jed provided all the information I needed to prepare and then passed me over me to Javier, who handled the installation process. I was blown away by how easy they made everything. All I had to do was move my electronics and small items. Floor Daddy's team took care of all the heavy lifting, including tables, chairs, couches, beds, and more. This was a godsend, especially since I had the carpet replaced throughout my entire home and I live alone. On installation day, the team arrived on time and were both friendly and professional. I hung out in the backyard just in case they needed anything, but they handled everything seamlessly. They completed all five rooms (and closets) in about six hours, put all my furniture back exactly where it belonged, vacuumed, and left the area spotless. I just don't get it. Floor Daddy gets great reviews on Yelp and Google. But for whatever reason my job just went sideways from bad to worse. I guess it really boils down to the worker that actually shows up. I saw a lot of poor workmanship and shortcuts that floor Daddy had to come back later to fix. And floor daddy had to hire an outside contractor to come repair the damage done to linoleum I was keeping because that one guy pushed furniture back and forth across the floor that was not being torn up. The only floors being replaced were the living room, a small front room, and a small bathroom. It took the guy over a week and a half. The job could have easily be done in 4 days tops with a work crew of two to even three people. Instead with only one guy showing up. Occasionally a second would 1 or 2 of those days. One day he didn't show up till after 2:00 in the afternoon. After all that Floor Daddy had to come back to finish sloppy work. And they had to hire an outside contractor to repair the damage to the linoleum floors that I kept. It was close to a month before I had a completed job. The floors look great now, but with a bitter taste in my mouth about it. I still think they're a good company. They were not happy seeing that workers shortcuts and mistakes. And they did their best to fix those repairs to make sure I was happy. But to be honest when people ask me about my floors I'm not going to recommend them. read more

I'm sorry but our experience was pretty bad. Floor Daddy was recommended to us by the owner of a local mattess store, so we scheduled an appointment. When I spoke to the lady who scheduled the appointment I told her we wanted nylon or Triesta carpets, and that we don't want polyester. She told me that was 'no problem' and that they have a lot of nylon carpets to choose from. We received multiple reminders about our appointment. The day of our appointment we got a call that we would have to reschedule our appointment, due to illness. It was moved back by 3 hours that day, with a different salesperson. Our sales guy, Rob Personale, arrived at noon and he was great! Friendly and knowledgeable, but when we mentioned we wanted to see nylon carpet he looked really disappointed and said Floor Daddy doesn't carry nylon carpet. So, we wasted several days waiting for Floor Daddy, and waited several hours that day. I would hope that the person scheduling the appointments would know what type of carpets they actually carry. I'd give the salesperson a 5, but I'd give the business a 1 for wasting our time. read more

My sales rep (Larry-request him he has over 40 years in the flooring business) did a great job in helping me choose the best flooring for my master bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet. He came on Tuesday and we got contract signed. Installers did an awesome job and came Friday morning and stayed and finished the job working well into the evening. Our new non-slip flooring is both safe and beautiful. The experience overall was very good. However, problems occurred when small things were noticed and needing addressing following the main project. It was very difficult at that point to communicate with anyone at FloorDaddy. Messages weren't answered, no-one answered the phone, etc. At the moment, we've been waiting 5 or 6 weeks for a technician to return to our house to replace two damaged planks that we didn't initially notice. When you pay thousands of dollars for luxury flooring, you expect better customer service. read more

The entire experience was a shit show run by clowns. Booked an appointment for an estimate. The salesman over promised in all departments. Failed to mention that the baseboard installed would be raw color and if you want it painted that is EXTRA! A slick used car salesman. The day of the install the guys got "lost" in Phoenix and were 2 hours late. Then they worked late to make up for it and made a big mess, left 3 nails on the floor for me to step on, and then failed to tell me they tripped 3 breakers. One of the breakers was to the hot water heater. They again "forgot" to tell me. My recommendation is to find a local business that is interested in the customer not promoting its profits. read more

We visited their showroom in Tempe at the beginning of March and proceeded to schedule an in home appointment for the middle of March. Jed came out and we explained what we wanted and was so friendly and accomodating. We decided on a combination of laminate and small amount of carpet and we told them when we needed to have the install done and they were able to accomadate without any problem for the dates at the end of April. We spoke to Sergio who I believe handles the customer service part and reconfirmed our order and then we spoke to Cheryl who is the supervisor for the installation team a day or two before and gave us the name of then main installer, Wilson. They were done with all of it except the carpet is done by a different installer, in 2 1/2 days. This included having to do some repair work on the sub floor. Brian and his partner came out today to do the carpet section, which only took about and hour to complete. I have never dealt with such exceptional people from start to finish. I wish we would have used Floor Daddy the last time we had to replace the floor. The friendliness and exceptional quality of the installers is beyond anything we have ever experienced. The sales person Jed was excellent and Sergio and Cheryl were just magnificent!! I highly recommend this company and we were offered a fantastic payment plan. read more

I thought I would elaborate an my 5-star review to give credit where credit is due. Jed was a very confident salesperson that was easy to work with. He convinced me to replace more of the flooring than I originally intended and I dot regret it. Part of the reason I do not regret it is Javier. He was the one responsible for the demolition and construction of the job. Not only did he make the demo look easy, but he had a good plan on how to approach the job. Him and his assistant moved all of the very heavy items with ease. They completed 1,000 sq. ft. of demo and flooring install in 3 days. On top of that, the company took full responsibility of the disposal of old product. Even after the project was done, the team was super responsive to a request I had to fix a problem that emerged post-install. What a great experience! I'd recommend Floor Daddy to anyone. read more

I never leave reviews, and I feel really sad having to do this, but I want to share my bad experience in hopes that others will do their due diligence. Short version: 1. Financing a little bit of a bait and switch 2. Installer (yes, just one) showed up way earlier than expected 3. Two guys and a truck did the entire job, so we significantly overpaid for labor 4. Overcharged my credit card 5. Walls are a bit gappy, but I'm hopeful as the floor shifts things will tighten up Long version with context: I have had floors done multiple times in the past. Additionally, my father used to manage flooring stores before he retired (as did my FIL), so while I'm not a pro, I know a thing or two because I grew up around it. I did my usual thing and called 3 vendors. Floor Daddy did come in the most expensive (by nearly $3k), but because the sales guy was so great, I felt comfortable overpaying for what I thought would be a premium experience with a premium product. I know some might say that's not wise, but I own a company where premium services do cost more than my competitors. I thought I was truly giving back in the way I would want as a biz owner myself. 1. The financing advertisements on their website are a little bait and switch, so be cautious. I applied for, and was approved, for the 60 months, zero interest offer. I had not let the Floor Daddy sales guy know before he hard-lined about only getting a 24 month option, zero interest. When I explained I had already done my research and was approved, he then called his manager and asked for a 36 month option. He did do the typical sales schtick and said they "never" honor something like that. With that said, I thought the guy was funny and charming in an older gentleman kind of way. I chose to ignore the old school sales tactic (like an idiot). At this point, I had decided that I'd table the idea of using them so I could think on if I wanted to pay outright or finance with the shorter term. Later that evening though, their accounting dept (Athena) called and said I could do 60 months, zero interest. The accounting dept explained that they could make that decision and were unsure why Jed (Sales) and Brian (Ops Mgr) had offered different. She said she'd verify and call me back. She never did, but I called her, and she felt confident she could get it done, but had spoken to Jed (Sales) and said he mentioned they don't offer that unless it's for a larger amount. With that said, I was impressed with their customer service so I decided to proceed when they agreed to extend the offer and do 48 months. Problem solved, meeting in the middle and moving on! 2. They told me the wrong time for install. The guy (not crew) showed up 2.5 hours early. All good though, things happen. Better early than late, but I did have to cancel some meetings to open the house for him because it was vacant. I thought it was odd to only be one guy, but oh well. Moved on with my day. 3. Only one guy ever shows up the first two days. Finding this odd from my previous experiences, I called to inquire. The rep assured me that another individual was on property but had stepped away. When I went back later, there were 2 men. Okay, no biggie. Hopefully they have a crew of at least 4 on install day because it's 1600 sq ft. Once again, moving on with my day. Fast forward to install day, only two guys ever did the job. They worked their asses off and were not employed by Floor Daddy as W2. I so wish I could have just paid them for their services directly. Now, I'm sort of pissed. Floor Daddy significantly overcharged for labor. Honestly, you can buy a premium product and hire the guys who did this job directly for a fraction of the price. 4. I'm ready to move past this house project by now, but then Amex pings me to say my credit report has indicated a card that's been used above the limit. I immediately check it and it is in fact the financing card we used through Floor Daddy (Synchrony, by the way). I have no recourse for this problem just yet. The card still hasn't arrived, so I'm not sure why or how Floor Daddy overcharged the approved amount that covered the entire job. In the meantime, nice little drop in the score. :) 5. Where the floor meets the trim is a little bit more gappy than to be expected, but maybe this will shift with time. More to come on that. So there you have it. Have fun and happy shopping! read more
