Ok Corral has some of the best customer service! I had a defect in my boot and they reached out to the manufacturer for a replacement and it came in fairly quickly. They have a nice variety of boots but I think the men have way more options than the women lol. Their pricing is fairly reasonable for the quality you're receiving. Besides western wear for men and women, they also carry men work wear construction boots and clothes. The western wear includes boots, clothes, buckles, belts, hats, trail trinkets, and jewelry. They do not carry a lot of gear though. Prices are comparable to other western shops. The staff working there on 3/19/22 was fantastic. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. They even had someone who was bilingual and spoke Spanish and English. The shop is minutes off Interstate 80 on East Monte Vista street in Vacaville, CA. I stoped by this store yesterday and I was highly disappointed. I walked in and wasn't greeted, i continued on to look at the options they had on hats and noticed I was being followed by one of the workers ( older guy) . Not once was I greeted by him instead he was watching me to see if I would pocket something. Mind you I wasn't the only customer in the store there were plenty more ....But I was the only one being followed. Very disgusting behavior. I took my business to Boot Barn! The return policy was disappointing, and the whole experience left me frustrated, especially considering I had spent almost $400. After a four-hour round trip to purchase a STETSON MEN'S GUADALUPANA 6X SILVERBELLY FELT HAT, I discovered it was fake. Another four-hour journey to return it, a few days laterI take another 4 hour trip to try for an authentic one ended in disappointment as I received the same counterfeit hat again. Despite knowing they had genuine ones in stock, they refused to sell me one. It's disheartening after three trips of 4 hours I wasted and wasted time. Very rude staff, fyi don't ask them about the men's jeans they look at you like you are crazy. I asked about a pair of jeans if they were the stretchy ones and the blond lady behind the counter said do they look stretchy did you try stretching them. So, I have been to OKC a few times and I've always been greeted wonderfully. My first purchase was in July of 2018 and got a great deal on some Ariat performance shirts. In November I purchased some Dan Post Ostrich boots during the Black Friday tent sale and again was treated great and got a killer deal on some very nice boots. Recently, I'd been going in there looking to buy my first felt hat, after doing plenty research and getting some great pointers from the owner I made a purchase, however I ended finding my hat elsewhere, it needed some reshaping. My first choice was to take it to Boot Barn, big mistake! So after talking to Cienna (sorry if I misspelled it) a couple weeks ago I realized she could definitely be trusted with my hat. And boy was I right, she reshaped my hat and transformed it from a very nice hat to an amazing looking hat. She has the touch to make your hat look amazing. Don't hesitate to visit OKC, I sure won't. Pretty uphappy with my experience here. Luke was our cashier, he was speaking so quiet I could not hear him. I asked him to speak up and he seemed to get even quieter. I asked for a military discount and he responded "Yes, but not at the moment.". That doesn't make sense to me..? Finally I asked if he could give us a box to protect the hat we purchased in our car, but he said no, even though there were plenty of empty boxes behind the register. This store management is horrible. Super rude. I used to work for them and their main manager talked a whole bunch of shit about all of the employees. Including myself. I order a pair of boots off ariat and had them shipped to the store and they returned them knowing they where my boots. The boots are great. I will never walk into ok corral again. Very disappointed! My mom bought me $200+ boots for Christmas and was told at the time they were returnable so long as the tags were still on and the receipt was kept. (She triple checked because she was concerned about the size) Today, the owner vehemently refused to take them back because the tile in my house made a scuff mark on the sole of the boot when I tried them on. (I didn't walk more than 10 steps in these boots) Then, we decided we might as well try to stretch them, and he told us he could not stretch them for me. $200+ later and I have to go to Boot Barn and pay to have my boots stretched. The owner is incredibly rude. I will never again buy any merchandise from ok corral. read more
