I dropped off my quilts and explained that I wanted to finish the bindings by hand, which meant to…read moreme (as I left a LOT of fabric for them) that when I received it, it would be quilted where the batting was attached, and they would leave a fabric border for me to turn and sew. First of all, the seamstress tells me, "I made a little mistake on your quilt." SHE CUT OFF THE WHOLE BOTTOM BORDER! In addition, if you look closely you can see the quilting goes INTO the border. So, I had to hand-remove the invaiding stitches, and then remove the excess batthing. The other quilt (floral) has the same border problem so I will have to painstakingly remove stitches again. On top of this I was charged $238 for these two quilts, and she did not even offer me a discount for her mistake. I will never go back.

Only down fall is that most of the employees ( mainly the guys ) assume I don't know what I want or what I'm talking about. But I've started to get use to it. The store is clean and finding what I need is easy. The lumber yard is kinda messy but it's whatever. I also have taken equipment in now that they got a new mechanic ( I wouldn't waste my time or money with the last guy that was there I think his name was John) the new guy is amazing and helped fix my mower that the other shop in town thought they "fixed". I think his name is Bryan he is great and when I called for an update the gal in the shop knew who I was and was able to help me immediately with an update that they were waiting on parts. They said it was a 2 week wait and I got mine back in 10 days and fixed correctly have not had a single problem with it. I will definitely be bring my other equipment here.

The Davis and Woodland Ace Hardware did not have any, nor did the Woodland Home Depot. Who knew that the Dixon Ace Hardware would carry them and have them in stock. They set one aside for us and we immediately made the trip to Dixon. The capacitor was waiting for us and the sales person mentioned that they are the only ones in the area that carry items like that. We wandered about the store a bit, it's larger than the Davis Ace. My husband was also looking for a specific drip irrigation plug but they didn't have it in stock. Two sales members helped us look for the item and then they explained that the store will be doing a major re-do in October so they are starting to reduce inventory and the plug seemed to be one of the current reductions. Even so, the store was orderly and well stocked with other items. Our $40 purchase in hand, my husband installed it once we got home, saving probably hundreds of dollars if we had called a HVAC company to diagnose the problem and replace the capacitor. They told her she didn't need the original packaging and when she started the return process it said ON THE APP that it didn't need to be repackaged. When I packed all the pieces in the car I realized I might need some boxes to help me bring them inside. When I brought them inside yes they weren't fully packaged because they weren't for them. But when the shift lead saw me she just told me "No we can't take that". And I was trying to explain the process and she just kept saying no. It got to a point where she just ignored me. I ended up calling customer support myself and they told me to just leave it there with her permission. But the same team lead said "no you're not returning that." SHOUT OUT SHIFT LEAD MARIE. You're genuinely s*** at your job. Because how is someone higher up than you tellin me the complete opposite of what you're telling me. You lazy f***. They have a very large selection of good designer shoes...the largest choice of Sam Edelman shoes I've seen in ages. The discounts are good, not great. I ended up choosing a pair of EVA Arizona Birkenstock sandals. At $54.95 they are $5 more than buying on Birkenstock direct website, so no savings especially as free membership allows you free shipping. However, I wasn't sure of my size for this brand so it was helpful to try several pairs out in person. The salespeople here were low key and helpful if asked for assistance. The store was large, cool, well lit and had a large selection. The store was larger than the ones I have gone to in Sacramento. I briefly looked at personal care items and they had a nice selection. Otherwise, we didn't have time to look at much else as we wanted to head home and beat the traffic. I am taking one star away for no discount on the shoes and the fact they when I got home I realized the security tag hadn't been removed at checkout . Fortunately my Dad had a bolt cutter and he took it off for me.

She explained to me I don't buy item what was the final sale and how all of the policies worked. She was warm and empathetic from beginning to end. What a profile and professional excellence.
