I tried this spot after seeing it all over social media, so I had pretty high expectations. They're known for their Oklahoma-style smash burgers with the onions pressed into the patty. The place itself is pretty simple, more of a casual spot. Not super aesthetic or anything, but it's clean and works for a quick meal. It was busy when I went, so clearly a popular spot. We got a few things: the Oklahoma Fried double smash, the classic double, and the truffle mushroom Swiss double. The burgers were good, like no complaints, but I'll be honest they were kinda mid compared to the hype. The patties were cooked well and everything tasted fresh, but nothing really stood out or made me think wow I need this again. The onion rings were sooo good though. Easily the best part of the meal. Super crispy, not greasy, and just done perfectly. I'd go back just for those. It is a bit pricey though. The burgers are like $14-$18, and once you add sides it adds up pretty fast. For what you get, it does feel a little expensive. Service was good, everything came out pretty quick which I liked. This place had an open-concept with floor-to-ceiling windows that let the natural light in. We didn't know the restaurant was a collaboration between Oklahoma Burgers, Smokey Sam's BBQ and Karak Stuffed Naan & Chai Cafe. Classic Single Burger (5/5) was massive and full of flavour. It had their own version of the Big Mac sauce which gave a hint of tanginess and sharpness to the burger. Their fries were also really good. Matcha Latte (5/5) was earthy with a subtle sweetness. It was enjoyable. The service could be improved moving forward. There were only three tables at the time, including ours, but it felt like the server wasn't as attentive as we'd hope she would be. We went to Oklahoma Burger for our Valentine's dinner, and honestly, it was quite underwhelming. Upon entering, we were confused--we expected a classic burger joint interior but walked into what felt more like a café. FOOD (3.5/5) We ordered a OJ Double Burger, Oklahoma Single Smash Burger, and a side of Onion Rings. The burgers come with a soft and slightly toasted bun and smashed patties. The sauces were good but got monotonous after a few bites. Patties could also be crispier on the edges for a smash patty. Onion rings were super crispy and a great side. SERVICE (1.5/5) The restaurant is pretty large and they only have like 2 staff working the floor. The servers are not proactive asking if we are ready to order for any other asks like water, ketchup, the bill etc. In all honesty it felt like they were roaming around aimlessly and apathetically. That said, once you do get their attention they are quite nice and diligent with service. AMBIENCE (3/5) The restaurant felt like it was a convention center hall that had dining chairs and tables placed in it. It was clean and very spacious. ACCESSIBILITY (4/5) Located near Hurontario and Hwy 403 in Missisauga it is easy to get to via car. I'm sure there is a nearby bus stop as well. Finding the restaurant entrance is a bit confusing since signage was minimal and the door is hidden behind a few columns. OVERALL (3/5) The burgers were good, not great and I think other smash burger spots like Burgers Park in North York have a better overall bite. So after seeing a lot of hype on social media, finally, came to check out Oklahoma Burgers. Once you arrive, it's difficult to locate. It is the corner building (with multiple restaurants within). It was busy when I arrived. We were seated quickly and advised that for Oklahoma Burgers there was a 45 minute wait. The menu itself features only a handful of options. We got the single and double Oklahoma burgers. We were happy to see that the burgers arrived near the 30 minute mark. I had seen the videos of them making the juicy burgers with onions oozing out. That was not the reality of what we tasted. The patty was dry, the onions weren't too caramelized but overdone. The burger itself lacked flavour or lack of sauce. We both only ate half of it. At first it was strange to be at a restaurant with three different menus from naan, to brisket to Smash Burgers but you embrace it and totally have the option from ordering a little bit from each menu if you want to with the waitress. The interior is kind of semi fine dining. The staff were nice. Good clean bathrooms separated by sex, alhamdulilah. The Oklahoma Burger was surprisingly good for something that was so basic with the ingredients. The meat beef patty was bigger than the very soft bun so I ate the edges hanging over with a fork first before slowly eating away at it. It was very tasty and I totally recommend it. When I saw a photo of the offerings at Oklahoma Burgers, I knew I had to try one of their hamburgers as soon as possible. I was worried that this would be one of those cases of something looking delicious on Instagram but coming up short in real life. I needn't have worried. We arrived around 6:00 on a recent weeknight and were initially struggling to find the place. It turns out the joint is sharing a space with three other restaurants, all of which look quite promising themselves. We were shown to a table and handed a pile of menus for the different eateries, but I knew exactly what I wanted: the Oklahoma Double Smash Burger ("Double patty, onions, American cheddar cheese, burger sauce"). It arrived a short time later and it certainly looked magnificent. One bite told me that this gloriously messy concoction tasted just as mind-blowingly delicious as I had hoped. The patties are perfectly cooked and boast an irresistible crust, the plentiful cheese is rich and gooey, and the sauteed onions just take the whole thing right over the top. Honestly, this is one of the most satisfying hamburgers I've had in ages. It's a decadent dish that everybody needs to experience at least once. We also got the Crinkle Spicy Fries and they're fine. They're clearly frozen not fresh, but the spicy seasoning elevates them considerably. It's the hamburger that'll bring me back here time and time again. It's just so damn good! read more

It was a Sunday between 5-7, very few tables but after the food came, it was like the wait staff completely forgot us.
