I had an AWD vehicle that was supposed to be transported to my mechanic for a simple repair. I wish that I had known that towing an AWD vehicle in that manner would destroy the transmission, transfer case, drive train (and more) and cause $13,000 in damage to my vehicle. Unfortunately we could not come to an agreement with this company to compensate us fairly for the damage they caused to our vehicle. I'm only stating facts due to the litigation process. This has been a frustrating process and I had to purchase another vehicle. I am still hopeful this can be resolved. If I had not used Shackleford Towing I would have my dependable functioning vehicle and hundreds of dollars in my pocket every month.

Not only did Tactical Towing load our vehicle onto the back of its bed and take it to our repair location of choice, but they also have extended cab trucks so that passengers can ride along with their vehicle. Our home was en route to where our vehicle was being repaired, so he dropped off my wife and son with our luggage, before traveling on. So grateful that they pay the extra insurance that they can, and are willing, to do what they did. While the tow was paid for through our insurance, his pricing is lower than other services but they offer more. No doubt they are the best value within a 100 mile radius. There was no better ending to a blown tire event.
