I met Kayla and she was nice enough to tour me around and discuss some of my options, even though she's a merchandiser and not a "plant expert". She was so helpful and so kind! The options here are so nice, very elevated from HD or Lowe's, and I found a few fruit trees I'll come back for when I'm ready to execute my vision.

He educated the hubby and I on how to minimize the grubs in my vegetable garden instead of totally eradicating them. He then educated on how to deal with pesky problems with ants and aphids. We walked away from that area feeling like we were more educated than when we came in and how we would deal with it moving forward using natural ingredients first. This being our first time here we decided to take a look around at the plants and trees and begin to have questions about the pomegranate trees in particular, as they were not in the area as the sign placed. Going to the front we had been standing there for a little bit while Andrew finished with a customer. Coming from the back, Gina approaches the cash register along side a client who was shopping as well who just happened to be finished shopping. She looks at my husband and I and says whichever one gets to you first but will be with you in just a moment and moves the lady in front of us. The lady that she decided to check out in front of us was a little older, so I excused it even though it did feel as if we were rudely overlooked. If Gina appropriately had acknowledge us being there first I wouldn't have said... "we have questions about an item in the back so if you could take care of her first that would be OK with us" but we weren't given the option but I let that go. So as soon as Andrew finishes up with his customer, we begin to discuss our inquiries about the pomegranate trees in the back and stated that we were having trouble locating them because the sign is possibly in the wrong place or maybe they were just out. So we asked, could he take us to the location so we could look together as there are so many trees and shrubs. Now, Gina is finished with her customer and is wandering around the cashier desk and he asked her could she assist us because he could not leave the cash register. She then taps her wrist looking at him and us and says I have to clock out..... what happened to her statement "which ever one of us finishes with you first will be with you right away... so he says can you stay here and watch the desk while I go take the customers to look for the item and she says sure..... Keep in mind... We arrived an hour and 15 minutes before closing so we have been here and still have half an hour until closing time. My husband and I felt very uncomfortable about the customer service as it felt like Gina was really cold and rude. She didn't appear to want to assist us anyway as her face and body language spoke a thousand words without apology. I really hope this was a fluke day for her as I would hate to think that she treats anyone this way representing Armstrong Garden. Andrew on the other hand is such a sweet guy, I told him we wouldn't take much of his time. He then said that the store made a mistake and that he would move the sign because they indeed were out of the taller pomegranate trees and was sorry and would move it to avoid confusion. He then showed us a section that had smaller pomegranate trees called "Wonderful" and a "Azadi" Persian Pomegranate tree that hadn't matured which was fine. We ended up buying both along with a grape vine. If it hadn't been for Andrew, I wouldn't have purchased from here just because the interaction and feeling we got from Gina was really rude.

This location resides in one of the many plazas on Convoy and shares the space with a vape shop and coffee shop, which all three I believe are family-owned so just another reason to support. Because Convoy is a bustling area, depending on the time and day, good parking can be a moderate nuisance to find even with all the different parking lots and street parking. Vibe-wise: "Plants. Music. Life. Us." Isa's follows that slogan and has a very dope vibe right off the bat, with a very modern decor and the classics playing in the background. Obviously being a plant shop, they have plants decorated across the store which continues to carry the vibe. Service-wise: Isa runs the shop and was very approachable and helpful. I'm a novice with caring for indoor plants and knowing what plants to begin with, but Isa was super informative and clearly has an understanding of the care needed for all the plants and making the appropriate recommendations. I ended up grabbing two plants: one for myself as the first plant to christen my room, and one for my mom as a not last second Mother's Day gift. They've both settled in and have instantly made our homes brighter. A little miscellaneous: some really cool merch for all three stores is also sold here ranging from clothes to snacks to plant products. I'm a sucker for merchandise from places I like, so I bought a t-shirt and hoodie but probably would've bought the whole selection if I stayed any longer. All jokes aside, in summary, I will definitely keep coming back and not on a holiday so I can keep building on my budding collection of indoor plants, no pun intended. I definitely recommend Isa's for anyone looking to do the same! Sometimes there are deals between the three businesses which I think is cool. I don't partake in vaping so I personally would not try that side of the business, but I do like coffee so I will definitely give that a try next time I'm around.

This cute little plant shop is conjoined with Quiet Storm Roasters that is additionally family owned to Alyssa. All workers are so knowledgeable and approachable. There is nothing but good vibes and an upbeat environment. I have many friends and family that were bad plant parents, however with the advice of Alyssa all their plants are now thriving! From those who are wanting to become a plant parent, to those plant parents who are more skillful, there are so many unique plants to choose from. The plants are healthy, priced good and all are just so cute. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask Alyssa or any of the other workers. There is a paid parking 2 story structure behind one of the buildings, if you follow the flow of the parking lot, you'll see it. I opted for street parking and had to walk a couple blocks. It's a family owned business, the guy I spoke too was nice and friendly. I came in for the disposable vapes. He seemed knowledgeable and was able to give me recommendations. My friends told me if I purchased multiples- there's a discount. So I took all their orders to create a big order. Here's the flavors we all got: Taurus Galaxy brain Aries Asteroid belt Moon go Pink matter Saturn rings Mars volcano And tropic nebula I've attached the photos of the descriptions. The ones that say "ice" are equivalent to being menthol was my understanding. And I think the guy said he forgot to add "ice" to the Aries description. They're all 5% nicotine. I didn't see the actually word description of the flavors on the box but it does have a photo of the fruits. Also the vapes are different colors. They accept Venmo and it's final sale but if there's an issue, just let them know and I think it's case by case scenario how they remedy situation.

It's been about 2 years since they took over shop during the lockdown and it is now my one and only vape shop that I go to!! The new store is a combination of vape mods, juices, glass pieces, PLANTS!! , super interesting imported Asian snacks, drinks (I always buy a Yerba Mate when I swing by!), and of course their best seller, their original line of orbit disposable vapes! The workers are so sweet, super friendly, and never hesitate to explain a flavor or just have a quick chat! :) I used to be a cig smoker, to juul-er, to puff bars, and now only smoke orbit brand vapes. There are a lot of different and new disposable vapes out on the market right now that look beautiful and have crazy flavors but none of them have the same consistency, taste, and as well as sleek and compactness of orbit vapes. One thing that I absolutely love is that all their Orbit brand vapes are all Star Wars, Planet, and Zodiac themed! It's so clever and especially with the zodiac themed vapes makes for great convos with people! My favorite flavors are: Taurus (Strawberry/Aloe/Grape) Pink Matter (Strawberry/Banana/Watermelon) Tatooine Desert Fruit (Melon Lychee Ice) And lastly Hidden Dagobah (Two flavors in 1! Half Guava and Peach ice and the other half Ube/Taro milk PLEASE!! Make the Taro/Ube milk flavor as a stand alone I'll buy it all lol) Lastly, they are a local Chamorro / Filipino family owned store with a coffee shop, plant shop, and work with others in the community and it makes my heart warm to know that my money is being put to the people working directly rather than a chain vape shop.

There was something about him and I couldn't stop thinking about him once we left, so I went back a couple days later and got my little parrot (Kiwi). I am definitely bonded to this bird and am so happy I went back and got him. Thank you!
