I was visiting family in Old Bridge and wanted to bring over some Pizza. So glad I did. I got two large pizzas, one Plain and one Buffalo Chicken. The Buffalo Chicken was gone first. Everyone loved it. The plain was quickly enjoyed and gone soon after. This reminded me why NJ has some of the very best Pizza in the country. Thin yet crispy crust, The right amount of tasty sauce and perfect amount of cheese and toppings. I placed the order through Yelp and it was hot and ready when I came to pick it up. They were busy but friendly and helped me right away. This place is clean and they take pride in making it a local place to come, sit and enjoy a meal. I used to come her growing up, several decades ago, and it has only gotten more updated and nicer since then. If you want great NJ Pizza I recommend stopping in and getting some. 10/7/25 - Had a break in between appointments today and saw a nearby pizzeria so I figured what the heck. Old Bridge Pizzeria Restaurant is located in Old Bridge, NJ in a strip mall on the Rte 9 northbound side. The staff here is wonderful and super attentive from the moment you walk in. I ordered two plain slices and received them piping hot from a pie they took out of the oven upon my arrival. Unfortunately, the outer crust was the best part of the slice. It has a great pizza dough flavor and is both crispy and moist. The slices looked absolutely delicious but sometimes looks dont match the taste. And that is the case here. The sauce is tangy but lacks flavor beyond the tangy tomato taste. I am relatively certain that there is very little Italian seasonings utilized if any. The mozzarella is premium but without seasoning, it lacks punch. The biggest problem here is the slices are limp. They use a lot of sauce which is definitely preferable. But when you combine heavy sauce with a limp undercarriage, it adds up to a sloppy mess. The cheese slides right off and its extremely difficult to stay clean while eating. Their food is my daughter and I's favorite pizza in our whole town (and there's a million different pizza places). Besides from how good their pizzas and food are, the staff are some of the nicest, most genuine people I've ever met. My daughter likes plain pies and I enjoy toppings usually. I ordered a plain pizza, and as I picked it up I pointed at how delicious one slice looked, and the generous worker gave it to me gave me multiple slices to try. 100% would recommend, 10/10 experience, as per usual. read more

A little disappointed that their online ordering system has been down, as customers are supposed to receive 10% off. Nice place, recently remodeled for their 60th (or 70th?) anniversary. So, it's been around for a while. That being said, I was a bit surprised about the quality of their pizza. My party ordered a medium pesto w/ mozz pie and a medium margarita pie. The pesto itself needed WAY more garlic, there wasn't much taste to it at all. The margarita pie was ok, but the crust and dough was on the softer/rubbery side, which made the whole pie a little lackluster. We ordered 3 different pasta dishes. I hated my chicken parm. The cheese was terrible and there was as much chicken as there was breading. Wife's tortellini tasted weird, but the alfredo sauce was good. Kiddo's penne vodka was the best of the 3, but nothing amazing. I liked their garlic knots. The best thing was the oil and vinegar dressing for the salads. That's not saying a lot. Maybe the pizzeria is better, but the restaurant is average at best. read more

Just came back from having dinner there. The place was not busy and we were the only ones in the back dining area for quite some time. The food was really good but it took over an hour to get it. We dined in and the waitress was the worst ever! Had to ask multiple times for everything, they gave us ,no lie, about 5 oz size disposable cups each for a pitcher of soda. They were something you'd give a toddler at a kids BD party. Took 40 min. to get our salad, had to ask for bread, a bowl for shells. The waitress didn't know that with the meals you get a salad. i am boiling mad. i've ordered from them before. food is good. today september 29th they totally proved them selves to be money greedy scum. i orderered 2 personal pizza with toppings & a sheperds salad. with blue cheese dressing. the delivered the food. no blue cheese dressing. i called spoke to SAMANTHA & HALEY when i placed the order. i called the manager and spoke to some guy i admit i was angry i said could u sen 2 small containers of blue cheeses dressing. which probably cost them a $1. these cheap money grubbing said i would have to pay. how do keep customer satisfaction with cheap scum owners like that. boycott this place and bankrupt them. money greedy scum. What is going on OB pizza? You used to be so good. My last few experiences have been subpar. Particularly with takeout pizzas. The crust is just not the same. What happened?? I noticed that when I eat in the restaurant, the crust is better. But when I bring pies home or have it delivered, it's different. So I think the issue is consistency - it needs to be good whether eating in or taking out. Question is: Why is it different? Are the crusts pre-made?? Because they have really been lacking in flavor, are too tough, or too thick, or are burnt. Could be round pizza or square grandma style. Doesn't matter. And the grandma tastes different lately - way too much garlic last time (tasted jarred, too). And the round pies are always cut weird with all different size slices. Something has been off for a while now. Need quality control. Need consistency. I'm really upset about this because I love you guys and am a loyal fan. Please, if you're doing something different or cutting corners on take-out pies, please stop! Why mess with a good thing??? I want a good, tasty crust, fresh tomato sauce, fresh toppings, and melty, stringy cheese. And delivered hot! Is that too much to ask? One more thing... I never had a problem in the past with customer service but whoever answered the phone for delivery had a major attitude. Didn't even say goodbye when she hung up. Clearly she is not happy there. We were Krispy patrons and decided to try Old Bridge Pizza after reading the reviews and the place is closer to home. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing but my eggplant with angel hair was mediocre. The sauce did not compare at all to Krispy and my eggplant was burnt and tasted awful. My husband ordered suasage and peppers and he said it was just OK. So back to Krispy we go. great crew and food. one small complaint. you used to be able to come in here at lunch time and dinner time and maybe time a pie coming out of the oven and get a fresh slice. something has changed. now it's and old pizza getting recooked and then the slices possibly going back in the oven for a third cook. one of the great pleasures in life are those fresh slices. pizza nevere tastes the same when it's recooked. at peak hours get more pies out there that are right out of the oven. you used to work this way. please, pease go back to that practice.. thanks! read more
