Thank you Yelp, once again, for directing me to another great local business that was entirely off…read moremy radar. In general, I'm not one of those people who likes my car to be clean. If my car gets dirty on the outside, the next time it rains everything should be fine. I have no need for a fresh from the factory shine. But in this case, it was Mother's Day, and all my better half wanted as a gift was for her car to be cleaned on the inside and out. Part of me wanted to do this myself with the kids. You know, a labor of love. She drives a Mazda 5 with three rows of seats, long floor mats, and lots of nooks and crannies in the cabin. I thought there was no way that any car wash could get the inside as meticulously clean as my spouse would like. A detailing shop maybe. A car wash, no. But still, I also thought that if I brought the car for a wash first, it might make it easier for me to fully clean the car to my wife's demanding specifications. This is what drove me to JJ's in the first place. It's hard to find. At first, I thought the self-serve car wash stalls in the parking lot were part of the operation. But then I drove around and found what I thought might be the entrance to JJ's proper. Turns out, that was the exit. But still, a friendly employee directed me around to the back, where I could enter one of the bays. I told the fellow there that I wanted an inside and outside cleaning. "You want a spray wax too?" he enquired. Sure. Why the heck not. Yes, it took quite a while for the car to be done. I was quoted around 45 minutes and they were pretty close to that. The kids and I hung out on one of the park benches and we made some Mother's Day calls. However, when the car was done, it was immaculate! I was told that the floor mats could really benefit from a shampoo, and was also invited to inspect the car. "If anything doesn't look great, please let me know and we'll take care of it." I appreciated the opportunity for feedback and their earnest efforts to make sure I was pleased with the work. $50 seemed like more than a fair price. Especially because when I brought the car back home to present it as a Mother's Day gift, it was almost perfect as is. My wife's eagle eyes picked up on two very small things she wanted done, but within a few moments I was the hero who got this very dirty, dusty, and dingy car looking great! Thank you JJs! While I may not be the shop's most frequent customer, this is now the one and only place I'll bring my cars to get cleaned!

Went today to get an "express" detailing. Because it was for a SUV, I was charged $10 more…read more Understandable. I was told the things in the back would be removed for cleaning, and that they would clean around the change in the cup holder so I wouldn't have to remove it. My escalade had a little dirt on the back from driving on a dirt road, and some dirt from my shoes on the running boards, and was not really even dirty, so i figured a quick once over from a machine would be nice. I went on a Sunday around 130pm and when I asked for the 3 dollar wash, he insisted I purchased a $12 car wash. I said the $3 wash would be good enough and then asked if there were towels for use or purchase, and he said "HELL NO". Then even though he was standing there with a sprayer, he refused to spray the dirt off of my running boards. After I ran the car through the wash, I came back around and asked him why he didn't spray off my running boards, and he said it was because I didn't get the $12 dollar wash. He was very confrontational and rude. I told him he should put $3 NOT car wash because your car is still dirty after going to oasis. I went across the street to the other place that has a $6 wash, and when I told them that I just came from oasis, they washed my car for free, and didn't have a problem washing my running boards with their little sprayer. Save your money and just got to the other car wash place, even though they did not towel dry my car there, they have soft water so it didn't leave streaks on my black paint job.
