Unfortunately, the dish lacked flavor and I ended up adding soy sauce and hot sauce at home to give it some life. I like a little spice on my Thai food, but not too much and I did not realize that the mild spice level was pretty much a zero spice level so next time I will pick medium. I loved the light cook on the vegetables and how crunchy they were. The staff was very friendly and the inside of the restaurant was beautiful. I went there a different time and got their sashimi flight and a salmon avocado hand roll. I moved here from Vegas so I'm very picky about sushi and seafood in general. This has been one of the best sushi places in Wisconsin for me so far! The fish was high quality, extremely fresh and definitely superior to the other sushi places I have tried out here. Even though the drunken noodle I had was lacking, I definitely want to go back and would love to give some of their other Thai items because they look really good. And I will 100% go back for the sushi!!

Mom's Kitchen is such a charming and cozy little spot. The restaurant felt open, spacious, and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We came in for an early Wednesday evening dinner and were seated right away. Definitely one of the perks of beating the dinner rush! They have a pretty extensive menu along with a signature menu, so naturally, we had to order enough food to turn the table into our own little buffet. We ordered: - Korean Wings - Crispy, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal. - Chive Dumplings - These were interesting! They reminded me more of a soft, doughy Korean style pancake than a traditional dumpling. Not necessarily my favorite dish of the night, and I could have done without it - Salt & Pepper Chicken - THE WINNER! This was easily our favorite dish. Crispy, savory, seasoned perfectly, and something I would absolutely order again. - Shrimp Pineapple Fried Rice - It was good! It had a slight curry flavor that I personally liked. My guest was about 50/50 on the curry flavor. The rice was a bit dry and could use a bit more savory taste. - Duck Pad Thai - Probably the lightest dish flavor wise. I personally would have preferred a little more sauce and a stronger marinade on the duck, but that's also personal preference. The duck itself was a nice change from your typical chicken, beef, pork or shrimp Pad Thai. The noodles were also a bit dry. A bit disappointed with this signature dish. One thing I really appreciated was the portion size. They are very generous here, so you definitely feel like you're getting your money's worth. We ordered quite the spread and had plenty of food to enjoy and had to take home. Not every dish is going to be everyone's favorite, especially with such a large and diverse menu, but that's actually one of the reasons I'd come back. There are SO MANY other dishes I still want to try! Overall, Mom's Kitchen was a good find in Pewaukee. Between the cozy atmosphere, friendly service, generous portions, and huge selection of dishes, I think it's absolutely worth checking out, especially if you enjoy Thai and Asian fusion cuisine. I'd definitely return the next time I'm in town. The Salt & Pepper Chicken is definitely on my list for a 2nd order . Also, I always order a Thai curry and this time I didn't. So next time it's on my table for sure.

Love this place, never go more than 2 weeks before we circle back and order again. It's fantastic!…read more The food is delicious. Period. They have the best Tripe tacos I've ever had. Followed by the Lengua tacos. WOW. Of course you have to try the Quesabirria Tacos w/consume. Dynamite! My wife always gets the chicken enchilada in salsa roja, my daughter a quesadilla (she boring). Jalisco has the BEST sides of rice and beans I've ever had in a Mexican establishment, great flavors and respect for the ingredients and cooking process so everything shines through. They have Elote too, not quite the traditional way but damn I can't stop eating it! I've tried almost the whole menu; the lomo en salsa de arbol, carne asada, chile rellenos, bistec à la mexicana, gorditas w/carnitas & chorizo. I could eat here everyday! It's a cute little place with great service. Recently I caught some World Cup action while we waited. Different beers and sodas (Modelo, Jarritos) are available, as well as fresh guacamole and pico de gallo. They make a spicy taco salsa that's the right amount of heat and flavor. Give the a try, you won't regret it! Never errored an order of mine either, very consistent - and affordable! Like wow!

Firstly, the service is amazing. All the staff are so friendly and polite. You are free to sit wherever you would like upon arriving, and a waiter follows you shortly to your table to drop off chips and salsa and inquire about drinks. Soon after that, you are asked what you would like for your main course, a question which I have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes to be fulfilled. They are so so efficient here with zero sacrifice to the quality of their dishes. The guacamole is so creamy and delicious, and the steak and chicken tacos are personal favorites of mine. Everything is seasoned excellently. The inside is homey and quaint, and has cozy seating which is never too crowded. It is a comfortable space. If you have not yet tried Taco Jalisco, you truly are missing out!!

Two of us ordered the Backyard BBQ burger, one without sweet potato fries and the other with tots. The third person ordered the Pizzaz burger with breaded mushrooms. All were cooked medium as requested and were very tasty. The sweet potato fires, breaded mushrooms, and tots were also very good. The breaded mushrooms were strips of a large mushroom as opposed to mushroom cups. The only issue we had was both Backyard BBQ burgers were servered with sweet potato fried instead of one having tots. Our server, Olivia quickly corrected the situation by bring us an order of tots. Olivia did a great job, was personable, pleasant, and provided great customer service! Inside the ambiance hasn't change and is still pleasant and comfortable. They have a nice mix of regular height and high-top tables. Plenty of TV's are placed throughout, including on their very nice outdoor patio. They have claimed to have the best burgers in town, and they continue to provide burgers that meet that claim.

Which I guess could be kind of odd to have on a bar menu, but if it's on the menu, you would think it would be good. The second it was put down. It looked like it came out of a prepared TV dinner. The meatloaf was thin, sliced, and tasted did just like a Salisbury steak. And kind of chewy. Not appealing on the plate either. He substituted a side salad instead of fries. The side salad was super tiny and not worth it. I ordered wings. When they were delivered all 12 were drummies. I didn't get one flat. The waitress then brought me out some flats mins later when I asked for them and showed her my plate. As for beverages, I ordered a tap of spotted cow and it was very flat and not cold. We won't be back anytime soon.
