We chose to sit outside since the weather was perfect, and it added a nice touch to the experience. The food was fantastic! The portions were generous, and everything we ordered was full of flavor. The lomo saltado was really good, and both the fried rice and the rotisserie chicken were absolutely delicious--tender, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. If you're into Peruvian food, this is definitely a place to check out. We'll absolutely be coming back again!

The sampler has a variety of Shrimp and Fish Ceviche and all were really good. The Sampler is actually good for 4-5 people as the quantity is pretty generous. We ordered the Lomo and Pollo Saltado and just to mix it in we also ordered the Chicken Chaufa. If I was to pick one dish from them all I would certainly go with the Chaufa as the taste and the way the spices are mixed in with the rice and chicken, it was very tasty. I walked upstairs to pick up the catering tray we ordered and although I was 2 hours late, It was not ready for us. If I hadn't been waiting 15 minutes for the potatoes, I probably wouldn't have noticed how dirty and hot it was in the restaurant. The bartender handed me two trays and then said there was a third. We were not expecting that much. She did help to bring it to my car though. The papas a la Huancaina were not great and most of them were thrown out. Without hesitation, Old House is far better than Fiesta. An incredible fusion between Peruvian and Guatemalan cuisine. Whether it's a desayuno tradicional or a lomo/pollo saltado, I highly recommend a bite without the aji amarillo sauce, and then a bite with the sauce. Two different bites, both great!! It's worth asking what sizes you can order for dishes. For example, the lomo and pollo saltado come in two sizes. The smaller is perfect for one person. As it relates to service....yes, a little on the slower as it relates to wait time for food. However, the staff is always friendly, and they make sure to attend you appropriately.
