The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and served on authentic corn tortillas with the traditional onion and cilantro toppings. While this isn't my absolute favorite tacos around, I do prefer this location over Casa Villa's other Stamford restaurant. The ambiance here is much nicer, with tasteful decor and a great outdoor patio that's perfect for enjoying a meal when the weather is nice. My only real complaint was the salsa. I'm a fan of traditional salsa verde, and their creamy version just wasn't for me. Other than that, the food was good, the vibe was welcoming, and the Tuesday special made it an even better value. We were in the area and decided to try something new , came across this place and went in to check it out , here is how it went : Upon entering we were greeted by Jonas and an AMAZINGGGGGGGG bartender named Will . Will is simply the best , polite, professional, positive energy and outstanding customer service . He goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect , we sat at the bar and had some delicious appetizers seasoned to perfection . She wanted flour tortilla instead of corn, the took a wrap and cut it in half to accommodate. In the menu it did not list crema as an ingredient in the bistek tacos, but my coworker seen the lady squirt some all over the meat while it was cooking. Disappointedly she had to cancel her order. When I explained to the cook, she can't consume dairy, she replied "she should have told me before" Some people are lactose intolerant, cooks shouldn't add ingredients not listed on the menu. I still purchased my food and had no complaints about it; however, due to this incident, we will not be coming here again.
