Delish food. Chicken was moist and well seasoned. Big fan of the aji sauce. Service is always friendly and food is always ready!

I've been a massive fan of Jean-Georges ever since my days hitting up ABC Kitchen near Union…read moreSquare. Whenever I had meetings at our NYC office, I'd grab a seat at the bar there just to see what was new on the seasonal menu. So, when I heard he was bringing his culinary brilliance to Greenwich Avenue, I was ecstatic. Happy Monkey definitely lives up to the hype, but with a totally different energy. It's a "fun-loving Latin restaurant," and the vibe is spot on--bright, laid-back, and stylish without being stuffy. The black and white tiled floors and all the lanterns and plants hanging from the ceiling give it a really cool, relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. The bar program is solid. They have a full selection, but the margaritas and sangria seemed to be the move for most tables. As for the food, it was incredible. Here's the breakdown: * Arroz con Pollo: This is the absolute "must-have" dish. Just a heads up: it takes about 30 minutes to cook, so give yourself at least an hour for the full experience. It is well worth the wait. * Sizzling Shrimp with Garlic: Exactly what you want it to be--fragrant, buttery, and delicious. * Organic Chipotle Chicken Tacos: Super fresh and had that signature Jean-Georges "pop" of flavor. * Crispy Calamari: Perfectly fried and a great way to kick off the meal. You can really feel the JG influence here--everything feels lighter and more vibrant than your typical heavy Latin fare. It's great to finally have this level of cooking right here in Greenwich. Whether you're a longtime fan of his NYC spots or just looking for a great new dinner hang, this place is a win.

The mixed reviews here are a little confusing, if I'm being honest. It's a Jean Georges restaurant…read morethrough and through, and I'm not sure I'm aligned with where some of the disappointment lies. I suppose it's a pro that it's never been hard to get into, but maybe this spot hasn't quite found its groove yet. As a frequenter of Matador Room in Miami, I see a lot of similarities on the menu (and some of the same dishes, and the overall vibe) which make it that much easier to get food that brings me to Miami without actually having to go there. Namely -- the hot sauce on every table (not a "food" but integral to the JG experience), the ginger margarita (liquids are food), the maitake mushroom, the sweet pea guac, and the always amazing Arroz con Pollo. I'm sure there is more, but this is what stands out to me. So for starters, any of those are fantastic choices. We recently went for brunch and added the tuna tartare, a few salads, a burger, and the baked eggs to the list. My only caution, and I say this with deep regret, is that the baked eggs are VERY baked. I was imaging something more like a loose bake, shakshouka style, but I clearly did not read the menu very hard. We capped it all off with the tres leches (YES) and the Mexican chocolate pudding. Drink the drinks, eat the rice, and put the bright orange hot sauce on everything. Yes, it's not cheap, but what else did you expect in Greenwich?

WOW ... WOW... WOW…read more. We were in the area and decided to try something new , came across this place and went in to check it out , here is how it went : Upon entering we were greeted by Jonas and an AMAZINGGGGGGGG bartender named Will . Will is simply the best , polite, professional, positive energy and outstanding customer service . He goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect , we sat at the bar and had some delicious appetizers seasoned to perfection . I'm am Brazilian and I have been to MANY Brazilian steakhouses but this one topped them all and the didn't even try the rodizio. The whole vibe just makes you want to stay as long as you can , the only issue with that is that you will probably weight 100lbs more by the time you leave haha !! Everything is just so good . Jonas was very attentive and always asking if we needed anything else . An absolute amazing experience , we will definitely go back to enjoy other selections . Ohh and let me tell you their passion fruit caipirinha was awesome . If you want class, great customer service and great food definitely pay this guys a visit . You will not regret .

We found Cosecha's by accident. We were looking for a place to drop in for breakfast. Cosechas…read morepopped up in our search. We were very lucky it popped up. Everything about Cosecha's is great. I'm not a Colombian food expert, so I can't say if it was traditional or not. But we really liked what we had!! We had a few empanadas as appetizers. They were really good. Nice crispy outside, and stuffed full on the inside. We could tell they were freshly handmade. They were clearly not frozen. The coffee is perfect. It had a robust coffee flavor. Not a bitter or burnt flavor, but a full coffee flavor, with a slight hint of cocoa. Staff is very friendly and attentive. They know all the dishes. I wasn't sure what to order. I told the waitress I was really hungry and asked what's popular. She suggested Calentado. It's a dish with eggs, rice & beans, meat, and cheese topped arepa. Meat choices are chicken, steak, ground beef, or chorizo. I tried the chicken. The waitress recommended scrambled eggs with onions and peppers. Our food came out very quickly. The plates of food were enormous. Each plate had enough food for two people. And everything was great! They have a large assortment of pastries and desserts up front. Unfortunately, I was too full to try any. They seem to be very popular in the neighborhood. While we ate, we noticed the staff joke around with people who popped in for coffee, sandwiches, or desserts. There are a lot of regulars. Tables, counters, and floors are clean. Take out refrigerators are stocked well. Popular music plays at proper levels. Loud enough that you can hear it, but not so loud that you can't hear each other. We will definitely be back again for breakfast. We will also come back for lunch, dinner, and desserts. Check it out if you're in the area.
