I'm hesitant to say it's fixed, we will see as time goes on. Currently we have working minisplits. The AI is extremely frustrating to talk to, I hate it. We have had several install issues with our minisplits in the 2.5y since topline sold and installed them. First they leaked all over our walls, now they have a refrigerant error and don't work at all. They charged $14,000 for subpar equipment and installation service which could have gotten us a reliable brand like Carrier or Mitsubishi as well as reliable service from a trustworthy HVAC company. $14,000 is fine for a 10y+ reliable system, 2.5 years and having to have the company out over and over again? And they want to charge to come out again which I understand business wise, however we shouldn't be having these issues to begin with on a new $14,000 system. Stay far away from this company. I will update my review if they make this right. After a lot of back and forth they should be out Wednesday.

First clue - it sounds like a freight train, which I asked about. He used the wrong square footage and installed a unit TOO BIG for our ductwork. The system short cycles and it can't push the air through. It leaked refrigerant and we had to have system charged on several occasions (Stan conveniently says it never happened - I have receipts). His contract stated 10 years part and labor but we had to replace a coil (Oct 2025) and $1500 later... system is not working again (Aug 2026). 3 companies recently came out and ALL agreed that the system is too big and NOT WORKING. NOW we need a NEW system. I am reporting him to BBB AND ATTORNEY GENERAL OF PA. Shame on him. Don't fall for his old school blah blah blah. Terrible. I am sure he will have a great response. They were on time, checked out the AC, added coolant and then took a quick peek at the furnace. They said both look good for the age (17 years) and should be good for a while. I had questions about rebates for heat pumps and he had answers about rebates, rough costs and advantages of the new heat pumps. He reiterated that we didn't need to change out our current equipment but if we feel it's important for environmental reasons there are good options. We'll definitely be using them going forward, and have a fall furnace checkup scheduled.

On the first cold day this winter he claims the heater is all rusted out in the exchanger and has to be replaced, along with the entire system because a new heater can't work with an old air conditioner. Our neighbor suggested we call their guy. He's been in business for 30 years. Needless to say, the heater was not rusted he showed me the unit was very dirty, the fan motor and wheel were clogged with dirt and there were two dead birds in the chimney. The outside air conditioner was only 10 years old. I'm convinced SK had never done anything other than collect their fee and try to sell stuff we didn't want or need.
