I usually don't shop at Old Navy. The sizes don't fit me. I always refer to them as "white girls" clothes! If you have a small waist and hips you shouldn't waste your time. If you're shopping for a little one it's an excellent place to find quality clothing at a great price. My only complaint is the time you have to wait in line to be checked out. Every time I've been there I've waited 10 minutes or more. For the size of the store they should probably add staff although their monthly sales might not warrant it. The clothing selection here is really nice, they have a lot of good deals, lots of colorful summer outfits, tank tops, t-shirts, and a limited shoe selection. Clothes for men and women. They have a great kids section with shoes, swim suits, shirts, shorts ect... Only complaint is the wait times in line. The line was moving really slow, I ended up taking my baby back to the car and my wife waited in line, we were standing there so long. They had two people working the register, they just didn't seem to me moving with any sense of purpose. They like to close their doors earlier than what they're suppose to. It was 8:40 when we walked in and they were telling us to hurry up because they close at 9. Right after we walked in at 8:40 , they locked the doors so that no one else could come in. A customer tried to come in and I couldn't let her in because doors were locked inside and out. One of the associates went to the door and the customer was confused as to why they the doors were locked. Prior to her letting her in, I asked why were the locking the doors so earlier ? I recently walked into Old Navy for the first time. I'm not one for a lot of clothes shopping, but Mrs N wanted to look for a few things while we waited on some music lessons across the parking lot. I found my self seeing, liking, and wanting these clothes. All casual, but just current enough for my taste. Though I had to put a couple things back, I ended up creating a nice birthday present for myself! Descent prices on descent clothes sounds good to me. Mrs N found a few things for the entire family, including this old school wheel-light-up hand-held fun toy we all can't leave alone. This particular store has a clean and bright atmosphere, creepy mannequins near the door, and plenty of parking. Another visit when the seasons change sounds about right. Decided to give this store another try after a couple years and that was a mistake I won't be making again. This Antioch Store is a disorganized, filthy MESS!! Hardly any little girls section, carts full of go-backs just sitting randomly all over the place, clothes piled and thrown all over the racks, looooooong slow line, of course. What a disaster. If Concord can keep their store orderly, why can't you??! The pics I include are just what I took while standing in line. Buyer beware!!!!! A friend referred me to a fantastic sale that old navy was having online. I was so excited to see the great deals I received and because we have been on house arrest for the last 2 months, it was a great way to pass time. How wrong was I. Not only am I still waiting for my order to be delivered an entire month later, each piece was shipped separately. I assumed my order would be delivered yesterday from old navy to UPS finally to be placed in my LOCKED mailbox by the United States Post Office. Well EPIC fail. Not only was the package NOT delivered but old navy told me to call UPS who told me to call Old Navy who I am still on hold and it now 1 hr and 30 min later and they still have not ordered. NEWSFLASH!!! They sell NFL gear here! Lovie and I went here last week and oogled over all of the NFL selections. And we were surprised that the 49ers (Go Niners!) were well in stock in long sleeve thermals, men's t-shirts, and sweatshirts. Only one style in women's tees only had a Large. Adam had his eye on the thermal. When I asked if I can get it for him, he's like, "Nahhh....maybe next time." Naturally, I looked up Old Navy online and found a 30% off one item coupon. It's time for that update! 'Tis the season of overworked employees who have to deal with shitty customers. So on that note, I give anyone who works retail a gigantic pass. However, I still have my comments. Cons: x Customer Service. (Again, giving a gigantic pass for it being the holiday season). There was only 1 cashier working when I went to buy my cute coat and there was a giant line of about 8 people. The lines are kind of small at Old Navy so when you even get more than 4 people waiting it looks like a huge line. Other employees walked up to the row of cashiers and did busy body work. It was work they obviously had to get done, but to the people waiting in line we were praying that that person was going to be the one to help us. Nope. Finally after about 10 minutes of waiting a second person stepped in to help. I assumed they were a bit understaffed, but I guess I have high standards on waiting times in lines. I blame Safeway for that. x Selection of Clothes. This is the smallest Old Navy location I've ever been into. I still recommend going to the one in Concord since it's like a warehouse or to the one in Fairfield because they both have a wide selection, they go up higher in sizes (this is great if you're plus-sized like myself), and a wider array of clothes to choose from. Both locations are better than shopping online. This Old Navy location is also more expensive than other places (namely Fairfield). Everything is about $2-$3 more than anywhere else. Their clearance selection is like walking into a hazard zone most days. Nothing is correctly placed in the right size selection. There are limited clearance sizes for anything a size Large and above and a giant section for anyone who is Medium and below. It's frustrating and confusing. This section is usually the messiest with clothes on the floor, falling off hangers, shoes not selling themselves by being in a mess on the floor. I can imagine it being taxing to continually clean up and re-organize, but I can imagine it doing wonders in being able to sell. x Jewelry. They finally have a tiny jewelry section. The selection is nice. It's expensive. More expensive than Claire's and Forever21 combined. The quality is decent for an Old Navy location and they've been able to keep up on trends since each earring section is coded by trend and color. It's cute and would make for a great stocking stuffer. read more

The store was meesy/disorganized. Literally things are hanging off he racks, on the floor and laid across tables of semi folded clothes. Sizes are not in order. Some are on size of the table, and some on a mother side or completely different table. Cashier was flustered when dealing with a difficult customer. DI felt really bad for her because she clearly wasn't equipped to handled the crazy lady and had to have a manager step in... Which made her step away from the register causing the line to wait.... Went to grab some shorts for my children. The youngest is in boys size and the sign said "40% off shorts" the oldest is in adult size and the sign said "30% off shorts" the cashier Sim said the "shorts are buy on get one half off" I had my oldest check the sign as I mentioned. She rang up the shorts as $29.99 for the first pair, but the second pair as $22.99 which was not half. I let her know I teach math and half of $29.99 is around $14.98. She then totaled out the sale and asked if I wanted to pay debit or credit. I told her no thanks we do not want your merchandise and walked out. Old Navy please hire people capable of doing elementary math skills. Also please teach them customer service as the cashier Sim had no idea what that is. There were at least 10 more of that same item on the rack and the girl moves them and says that it's incorrect when my mother and I SAW it say $15 and they said I had to pay regular price not where they were. Saying that I was seeing wrong. I will not be back. I think your service is awful and if you have things in the wrong place that you should give the customer the price it said. The selection isn't that great, but they do have some good deals. I came here looking for something presentable enough to wear in an office. I walked out with some "super skinny" jeans, a button down blouse, and some tanks to wear under the blouse since you can see through it. Although I like my purchases, the time spent to get to that point took a little longer than I would have liked. It seems everyone in the Brentwood area seem to be the same sizes because I looked for the my size in every wash of skinny jeans they had and only ended up pulling 3 different pairs of my size out of the hundreds of jeans amongst the 3 table display. The same thing happened when I was looking through the heather-grey and dark grey v-necks: there were no mediums, no larges. The clearance section is filled with mostly xl or xxl clothing. I'm glad they have clothing to fit every body type, but it would be nice to see more of the mediums and larges (in shirts/blouses, at least) available since I had trouble finding them in more than a handful of items. The store itself was clean. Smaller than a lot of other Old Navy's, not too busy when I was there. The employees who were walking around seemed a little less welcoming than I'm used to, but no biggie. The cashier who rung me up seemed a little snarky when I decided to change my mind about opening up an account. A little rude, but working in retail is a real pain in the butt, so I don't really mind if sometimes retail cashiers get a little nippy. The main reason I will be returning is because I received a "Super Cash" coupon which will give me $30 off a purchase of $75 or more (though not redeemable until 4/4). I'm not sure if there is a minimum purchase needed to receive the coupon in the first place, but I spent $87. I just finished taking one of those online surveys about my visit so that I can save 10% off my next purchase. Cha-ching! read more

This store has consistently been clean and I've been greeted each time I've stopped in. However, the customer service ends there. The last time I happened to be in the area and was looking for a certain item they carried I was treated less than nicely. I don't know if the girl was having a bad day or what, but she seemed AWFULLY put out clarifying the return policy. She was downright rude and I don't know why. This location often sells out of items quickly and their clearance is always a mess. When they have items that are laid out instead of hung on racks it's always a bit of a chaos aesthetically. I've encountered an item marked 'clearance' only to find out it's really full price and the cashiers aren't pleased that I notice a rather large price change (I don't intend to pay $24.99 on a sweater that was clearance priced 7.99). I've also noticed the quality of clothing has gone down--the fabric is cheaper and anything cotton is a lot sheerer. However, the prices have slowly inched up. I can tell by the price tags--the labels are different. I understand in this market everything is going up, but some of the prices here are outrageous for the quality of garment. I remember when going to Old Navy was just as good as a Gap item, but much cheaper. The children/toddler section has decreased in size as well. The female manager I've seen here seems like she is ready to go postal. If she were a little nicer I might actually feel sorry for her. The bathroom is a nightmare. Old navy online is so horrible. I can honestly say it was my worst online experience ever. They cannot get the right item out the first time and then want you to run around in circles just to get your right item. They will also make you return the wrong items they sent you and make repurchase an item and charge you shipping twice for a mess up on their end. I was so irritated by the person i spoke to that i just asked for my money back. I was told i have to pay to ship it back. Old Navy and Shutterfly have a promotion going on where if you buy school uniforms from Old Navy, they give you a promotion card to get a free 5X8 NOTEBOOK from Shutterfly. I purchased uniforms for all three of my grandchildren and was given two cards with two different codes. Once you create the notebooks and put them in your cart you find out that you are only allowed one, even though no one at Old Navy tells you that you can only get one. The notebook may be Free but you still have to pay $8 to have it shipped to you when it was only $14.99 to begin with. read more

I went shopping with my husband at old Navy. It was one week before Christmas.The lines were extremely long and I wondered why they didn't have more registers open to assist customers. The store was busy, especially in the dressing room where a group of 5 employees were huddled in a corner complaining out loud about work and personal issues. They hardly noticed us. When my husband exited the dressing room, one of the distracted employees approached him and rudely blurted out " is that all you got? My husband answer excuse me. She blurted out " where's the clothes you took in. He answered this is it , he had two pairs of pants. The dressing room was full of clothes from prior customers.
