AND... a pair of shorts... AND... a necklace to go with said cute "dress casual" top and shorts... PLUS... a few extras... including an insanely adorable royal blue (makes my blue eyes pop) ruffled-front belted dress (which I so happen to already have THE perfect pair of heels to go with it). Many refer to this as "disposable clothing" ... BUT... Express has great deals on trendy outfits... AND... I always receive compliments when I wear anything from Express! Seriously. I seem to be in the minority, but I love this place! Express is THE place I go for work/play clothes. Looking for a cardigan? Check. Simple, multi-functional button-down shirts? Check. Inexpensive work suits? Check. Skirts that fall at a "decent" length? Check. Must-have summer dresses? Check. Without fail, whenever I come in... I find a ton of s**t that I have to buy. Even better, the prices at Express are extremely manageable. If you like to follow trends, but don't want to empty out your bank accts doing so, Express is the way to go. I'm going back tomorrow. I would like to provide feedback regarding a return experience I had at your store on June 16,…read more2026. On June 6, 2026, I returned an orange dress that I had originally purchased. During that visit, I exchanged it for three dresses, a perfume, and a pair of earrings. When I got home, I tried on the dresses before washing them and found that two of them did not fit properly. The material was uncomfortable and itchy, and the dresses were too tight in the chest area. I decided to keep the perfume, earrings, and one dress, but planned to return the two dresses that did not work for me. On June 16, 2026, I returned to the store to shop and return the two dresses. During the return process, the cashier asked why I was returning them, and I explained that there was nothing wrong with the dresses--they simply did not fit. The cashier then called another employee over to assist. Neither employee was wearing a name tag, so I am unsure of their positions. The second employee asked whether I had worn the dresses, and I explained that I had only tried them on. She then asked where the tags were. I honestly told her that I had not noticed the tags were missing and checked the original bag from my previous transaction. What made me uncomfortable was the way the situation was handled. When I explained that I did not know where the tags were, the employee responded, "That's impossible. What do you mean they didn't have tags? It's not like they're going to magically come off themselves." I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable by the tone and manner in which I was spoken to, especially in front of other customers and employees. I understand that store policies must be followed and that questions may need to be asked regarding returns. However, I believe those questions can be asked professionally and respectfully. I completed the return process and chose not to argue at the time, but I wanted to share this experience because the interaction left me feeling humiliated and unwelcome. I hope this feedback can be used to remind employees of the importance of treating customers with courtesy and respect, even when addressing concerns about a return.

Unfortunately, my interaction with the manager, Felicia, was disappointing. When I asked about a pair of shoes with black sticker damage, she wasn't very approachable or helpful. Instead of offering any alternatives, she simply said they don't provide discounts and suggested I take the shoes home, try to clean them myself, and return them if it didn't work. The interaction felt lacking in customer care, especially from a management perspective. I believe there's an opportunity for improvement here, as the level of service didn't match the positive experience I had with the cashier.

She said it was dirty, which is exactly how it was when I purchased it.!!
