They were somewhat overpriced for what they were, but my son seemed to like it and we saw a sign saying 10% off for purchase over $25, so we went ahead and picked them up. When the clerk rang them up, she informed us that 10% off applies for only the items that are over $25 each, therefore I'll have to pay full price. My son was already wanting to play with them, so I went ahead and made the purchase. While shopping in the Sports Authority, we realized that one of the toys was defective. We returned to the store, in no more than 2 hours. We requested refund of the purchased items as one was defective and other was unopened. Their receipt clearly stated 14 day return policy, unless the items were sold were on sale. The items were clearly not on sale, as argued previously by their own clerk. The clerk responded to request for refund, saying that she needs to contact the owner for authorization for refund. The owner did not answer the phone. The clerk said comeback another day. I responded that I live rather far away, and asked what guarantee would I have for the owner's availability for authorization if I returned on another day. The clerk shrugged, and said I'll have to keep trying. I told her that they will have to figure out a way to honor their own written return policy, or I'll have to submit a dispute claim with the credit card company, as it was clear that the issue could not be resolved with the merchant. I followed up with the credit card company once the charge was posted, and explained exactly what happened. The card company issued a credit, after contacting both parties. Now the owner, Bianca, has left a message on my personal phone, which I gave to the store for customer-id purpose for future purchases, if any. In the recorded message, she made a threat to "Call police for fraud," and that "it won't be pretty," because she has video of me making the purchase; and demanded that I call my credit card company immediately. I sincerely want her to file a criminal complaint. So that I can: 1. counter file a criminal complaint for fraud, for not honoring their own return policy, refusing to accept defective merchandise and unopened merchandise; 2. If I do get arrested based on her complaint against me, I'll file a defamation suit on top of that in civil court, and seek damage; 3. She has used my personal information to make threats, so I'll also seek a legal council to see if another criminal complaint can be filed in a federal court for violation of Privacy Act; 4. Not to mention such calling is straight up harassment; 5. I'll share this experience with every group I can find, including mother's groups, consumer rights groups, chamber of commerce, better business bureau and any other groups that may be even remotely interested in this event; 6. I will Tweet, put on Facebook, and write a Yelp review and spread this information on every social media I have access to. 7. I will contact Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover network to report violation of Merchant's Terms and Conditions, and seek a resolution to get the ability to accept credit card revoked, if possible. Hey~ Bianca, I already called my credit card company like you suggested. I told them exactly what you said in the recording, and I've been informed that you already had your chance to make your case with them, and if you have disagreement, you were to contact them directly, not call the consumer and make threats. Go ahead, call the credit card company. Meanwhile, I'll be sharing this information with anyone who might be interested. And please do keep the video. It better show the part where I return for refund, otherwise you may be charged with tempering with evidence on top of all the things you will have to face. Good luck with your business. I guess it won't be pretty after all.

There are three reasons of why I love shopping at H&M. 1) They have pretty well made clothing that…read morecan be disposable because their prices are reasonable especially if they are having a sale. 2) Their XS size is actually an XS size. I wear size 0 petite so finding clothing that fits without alterations is a struggle. 3) Their stores are more organized unlike their counterparts Forever 21 and Zara, so I want to spend more time browsing. This H&M location continued to uphold my three criteria to continue shopping here. On our recent winter shopping trip here I bought a bunch of sweaters that are so comfy, and nothing was more than $12. This location has something for everyone, including a huge well stocked men's section, which was nice to drop the hubby off in while I shopped as well as a kids/baby secton. They also have the best selection of coordinated gloves/scarfs/hats in the same colors and designs. I remember shopping at H&M over ten years ago and while during that time they were geared more towards the college and post college group, their line has matured out. It's not only for the millennial crowd and there really is something in here for everyone.

But over the last couple of years I've really noticed some improvements in their selection of styles, and have started to make JCP a "must-stop" when I'm looking for something new for me or the kids. For example, a few days ago I went shopping for something to wear to a friend's wedding, and I was very impressed with their selection of summer dresses - they had everything from sundresses to maxi-dresses, in a variety of styles from casual to formal. I ended up finding two I couldn't live without! (Um, I'll return the one I don't wear, right? Yeah, right!) They also have a great selection of clothes for my pre-teen, who is in that awkward size stage between young girls and misses. The sales gals in the teen section are FABULOUS and always help her find something that fits her and helps her feel more stylish. I also love their salon, the stylists are great (if only management would let them paint the hideously bright white walls)! If you go for a haircut, ask about their specials - usually they are offering some type of service at a discount. Oh, and the discount racks in the shoe department offer some AMAZING deals. They recently had all their leather boots marked down 75% off! Now please, PLEASE JCP management people I have a couple of requests: 1) We need a Sephora! I know you have them in other stores (Lynnwood comes to mind); we need one here in the Ham! 2) Please, please give the salon a makeover. It is so bad in there. I think business would triple if you made this section look just a little more stylish. 3) Thanks for the "frequent shopper" program - it's saved me a ton over the years!

This review update is specifically about drive-up pickup. See my previous reviews for Target…read moreshopping in general and tips to save money. Here are the pros and cons. If you want to read more about them, details are given below. PROS +Pick-up: It so easy and quick to pick up your order. There's no time slot to reserve. All you have to do is let them know when you leave home using the app. They follow you using GPS and meet you on the store parking lot. +Refrigerated food has been added to their pick-up services (in store and curbside). +No minimum purchase (if I'm not mistaken) +Long store hours CONS -App only: Drive-up pickup is only available on the app. -Excluded items: There are quite a few things that are not available for pickup, such as alcohol and things that people panic buy, such as toilet paper. RE: App -I like doing online shopping on my computer, but drive-up pickup is only available on the app. You could use your computer to put things in the cart and purchase them on the app, but you would have to change the pickup method to drive-up on the app. You need to do this one item at a time! RE: Special Offers They are very clear but not all special offers are available for Target pickup. Conclusions Because what I can pick up from Target is limited, I still have to stop at other places like Whole Foods. However, because of its very competitive pricing as well as easy-to-use and efficient drive-up pickup, I think Target deserves 5 stars. ************************************************************ Don't forget to like my review (useful and/or cool)!
