**This review is just on buying, I did not try to sell anything. The store seemed clean and well organized which was great. It was clearly labeled by size and there were a couple sections specific to seasons/holidays. They also had a clearance section and a couple sale racks. They do not separate boutique brands out, so you really have to dig. I did see some boutique brands like Kissy Kissy, Cecil and Lou, Janie and Jack, Kate Quinn, Little Sleepies, Tea, etc. mixed in. It all seemed like it was in good shape, although I did see something with a stain and some items that clearly had wash wear. The prices weren't bad, most Old Navy, Carters etc. items ran around $4-$8 with boutique brands being around $15. They also had toys, books and shoes with a big section of brand new Itzy Ritzy items at the register. If we wanted a bag after checking out, we had to pay for it. Although it was less than a dollar, I still found this odd. The service wasn't great. It appeared that only one woman was working and she never welcomed us in or checked on us and there was minimal communication from her during our checkout. Too high priced. Lots of the clothes are very worn or in bad shape for the price. Make you stay in store while they look at clothes brought in to sell. Customer service is lacking. There is a much better place to sell and buy not too far from Kid to Kid Arboretum. They have my business now! read more

Very Unorganized toys, poor selection- staff didn't say hello or even acknowledge my existence when I was in there (I was 1/2 people in there). I didn't look at the clothes but toys were random in bins and books were very few and poor selection read more

As a new customer walking into you store to sale my sons very gently used clothes there should be a breakdown on how you price your items.. I had brand new pieces of high end designer and was told the process of going through my items would take a while so I could walk through your store.. which I should have watched the process. Especially with hundreds of articles of clothes and when I returned to pick up my money for what the sales person Stephanie said only 50 pieces where bought and at least 25 of those items where Ralph Lauren... I only received $73.00.. I feel completely robbed! Sick to my stomach that I couldn't get my son's clothes back! Thousands of dollars and the return was $73.00! I will never use or refer anyone to this store.. such a ripoff! read more

If your wanting to sell clothes I might suggest another option. I have called in advance and told the hours I can bring items in to sell. Only to show up and be told that today there is a "shortage". But tomorrow works. The shortage is suppose money and not enough staff. But tomorrow should be different. This is the second time. Not sure if I go all the way over tomorrow I'll be turned away for the 3rd time or not. read more

So I'll be completely honest here. The staff there left a little to be desired from the standpoint with lack of initiative to approach and offer help while it wasn't too busy, but at the end of the day, they got the job done with what the end-all mission was to accomplish. More importantly and positively, I'll say that I was impressed with the selection they had and the overall organization of the various clothing into appropriate sizing and categorization.I found plenty of higher name brand items for a relatively reasonable price that left my kiddos and I very satisfied. I'm reluctant to give lackluster ratings unless it is very warranted. They didn't do anything so egregiously that they don't deserve the rating I entered. We'll be back. read more

I stopped by after work since this location is on my way. It was around 5pm and the store wasn't busy. I will say its far more organized and feels lot cleaner then their competitor Once Upon a Child. The sale sections and prices were easy to read. They have colored stickers for anything on sale. Their selection was great. I was able to find some winter jackets and some winter sweaters on sale even 50%. The cashier was friendly. The only disadvantage is that some of the cloths hangs high. I'm only 4'11 and I had a hard time trying to go through the racks. I saw a lot of major brands like vineyard vine and north face. The staff could be more Customer Service Centered but I'm starting to believe this type of attuite no longer exists in Retail. read more

My wife went in to see what we could get for a few items we no longer use. A lady in her late fifties to early sixties, apparently woke up on the wrong side of the bed, went all drill sergeant. "Put it over there! ID!" When the poor excuse for an employee saw a larger item, she rudely remarked "can't you see we only have room for what's over there?!?" The only assistance this pugnacious employee gave was to go to the Park road location as they had more space. I'm sure there are some polite individuals employed here, but this one needs more than just a basic etiquette lesson. She's a huge reason why people with bad attitudes run a business to the ground. Do what we did, donate what you have, give to a friend.... just don't try to give anything here. You'd be better off setting it on fire or throwing it in the, like this lady's attitude, garbage. read more

Holy cow! It looked like a tornado went though this place! It was absolutely filthy! Clothes shoved under racks, clothes, shoes and anything and everything on the floor. Stuff falling off the racks and shelves. Not a safe place to shop with children. I'm not sure if this is how this place always looks or if it's just because they are short handed. Great store for finding clothes for the little ones. I shop here at least every two weeks for clothes for my grandson, who is two and growing very fast. Their clothes are in excellent condition and "in style". Typically, I can spend approximately $30 and come home with several shirts and little jeans, pants, or shorts for him to wear to daycare. What a wonderful resale shop for kids! Trying to figure out why it has taken me this long to stop by?! So organized and easy to find the sizes you need right away. Everything appeared to be in like new condition and great brands. They even had matching accessories! I wish that they checked the clothes more thoroughly, I am constantly finding stains ("water spots", holes, food, formula) on items that I pick up in the racks. The prices can be crazy, for example sub par Gymboree Outlet clothing priced more then retail. Lack of toys for boys ages 4-10. It always comes across to me that no one over 20 is running this store, their customer service and southern hospitality is lacking. I'm not sure I'm qualified to write a review since I'm not normally the one in my family who shops for the kids clothes. We were going to Bed Bath & Beyond to pick up some stuff and Sweetie saw it and had heard about the good deals. We walked in to check it out. First impression was that this place was unorganized because of all the stuff laying all over the floor, behind the counter and on the shelves. There didn't seem to be any order. They have a selection of new Melissa & Doug toys and some other various things like hula hoops and different toys. We walked back to where our daughters sizes were and found some good deals that were easy on the wallet. They had some new dancewear and some gear that the kids needed for dance class anyway so we got some dance slippers at a good price. They had a decent selection of shoes for the kids that weren't too dirty or worn for a really good price. The highpoint of the trip was a pink pair of lightup cowboy boots which retail new for over $50.00 we got them for $8.99! They didn't even look worn. The kids behind the counter were lackadaisical and could give a crap about the place and spoke like there weren't any paying customers in the store which was a bit bothersome. All in all I'm not sure how it is as a seller, but I can imagine that if I bought those boots for $8.99 they probably gave the seller just a few dollars for them. Good deal for me, not so much for the seller.....but I know how it is, I'd rather get a little just to get clothes off my hands. read more

I gave them 1 star because there wasn't a no star option. The absolute worst customer service from the young ladies working there. There was no greeting, no other customers, and no courtesy. One of the ladies was smoking in the front door way when we entered, and during check out, the other asked if I had a pen to sign my receipt. To top it off they were walking around without any shoes. I was disheartened by the small amount of money paid for brand name clothes we took in. It was a waste of time and a joke. I took back somethings we had just bought this year from them and they would not even take those back.
