I visited the DXL Store in Pineville this Afternoon, 1 September 2025; - Labor Day - I'm a disaster when it comes to fashion, honestly - with this divorce, I don't think I have anything to wear. I needed some essentials, and I needed them quickly. I'm challenging to shop for. I want to personally thank the Assistant Store Manager, Ms. Paige Logan, for being so polite, helpful, and accommodating. Thank you for being so enthusiastic and having a great attitude. I was able to leave with a great belt and an amazing button-down shirt that I know will get some attention. I plan to come back after this upcoming event, which I was shopping for, and spend some time putting together a small wardrobe of essentials. Once again, I appreciate Ms. Logan's help and guidance today. Paige, you made what could have been a very unpleasant experience for me that much easier. One last comment, price was right!

The owner also threatened to " have no choice but to pursue it a little further" while not claiming any responsibility for the damages what so ever. I used to work at a full line Nordstrom years ago, so I know quality when I see it. That's why I love the Rack because you can always expect good brands at better prices than you'd find at the full line store. To some people, Nordstrom Rack still feels a little pricey for a discount store, but you really have to compare it to the original full line price tags. I live in the NoDa area, and I will say this location was a bit farther out than I expected, about 25 minutes from my house. I was honestly surprised that there isn't a Nordstrom Rack closer to the city. This one is more on the outskirts, which is fine, but it does make quick trips or exchanges a little less convenient. Yes, you can return items at the full line Nordstrom, but sometimes you just want to browse and see what's new. Parking here was easy, and the store itself was clean and well organized. Coming from Houston and then Florida, I wasn't used to seeing so many coats in stock, so that actually caught my attention. They had a big winter selection, and I ended up leaving with a super cute trench coat, a puffer jacket, and a couple of other cold weather pieces since I know Charlotte winters are going to be colder. The staff was about as friendly as you'd expect at a Nordstrom Rack, but they moved quickly, and the checkout line wasn't long. Overall, this location was consistent with the other Nordstrom Racks I've been to. No surprises, just the usual dependable Rack experience. I'd definitely return.

The store was very well stocked and clean. You didn't see much on the ground from items knocked down. The items I found were priced very well. No complaints. There was so much variety here that you could spend a lot of time in this store. Upon checking out, I was greeted by a young lady. She asked me about opening a store credit card and I told her no thank you. Her demeanor changed, lol! I mean I'm sorry that I don't shop here often enough but also store credit cards are too limiting! But anywho...nice experience here and I would return.

I loved hitting the store when I traveled to big cities up until Charlotte got a few H&Ms of its own. Most importantly, the stuff was always affordable. I guess not much has changed with the store. The clothes are still very affordable - $5-8 for a tee in about any color imaginable. I guess they're still on the cutting edge of fashion but I just don't care for what's considered popular fashion these days. I actually wore oversized, stretched-out t-shirts a lot back in my high school days. Was I cool then? No. And it's still not cool now. Other stuff is basic as it comes on the men's side. Jeans, pants, business casual looking stuff - jackets, slacks and button downs. Denim jackets, interesting underwear and their sock collection seems to be best of all. There is also a handful of accessories, mostly sunglasses. But I get sunglasses for free about anywhere these days. I think we ought to be on the cusp of a men's clothes revolution in the world. Our options are so restricted and plain. I mean, you can only get a t-shirt in so many colors before you come full circle. Until I see a style that appeals to me on the forefront again, I'll probably steer clear of H&M.

It's overpriced clothing that the brand stores cannot sale. A lot of the clothing is ripped, torn, had broken zippers and other damage. Try it for yourself, but I personally would not visit again.
