Old Navy online prices are more than in store. I ran in to pick up a much wanted backpack for my pre-school grandson. I ordered it for in-store pickup to make sure I actually had it. Went to the store and found it on sale for $2 less. I quickly picked up summer clothes for him that were on sale. I mentioned the price discrepancy to the cashier. I was kinda of heated and said no, worth the extra time to me. I have not visited the Greenbriar marketplace location in many years. My children are all grown now. Crystal literally walked around the store with me helping me find any items they had in stock. She was very patient and helpful - even helped me order one item online since it wasn't in stock. We tend to hit their clearance racks or wait for their frequent sales and "old navy super cash" (tiered incentive program similar to Kohl's cash) offers to increase value, otherwise retail cost isn't much of a deal. Proximity to Target and Best Buy lends to high foot traffic, evidenced by their oftentimes full shared parking lot. For us, especially around holidays or $1 flip flop sales, this has resulted in hit or miss selection, tight quarters in certain departments, longer lines that wrap around the store, not to mention out of place merch slung everywhere. Surprisingly, most employees we've encountered have been pleasant! To avoid some of these pitfalls, we've ordered online where shipping is free when reaching certain totals. Our most recent order had some setbacks including 1 item cancelled due to stock shortage and 1 item that arrived way too small. I like this old navy because it is organized and always has some sort of sale. It is always clean, this includes the dressing rooms & bathroom. There always seems to be friendly staff & employees seem to be in every section of the store asking you if you need any help. They offer military discounts, and if you sign up for their email list, you can view what is going to be at a discounted price for that day only (last week they had $5 leggings, regular $16). I also purchased a new merchandise fall sweater regular $39 for $9, talk about deals of the day . They have a small selection of toddler clothes but everything they have is adorable. I wouldn't purchase toddler shoes here because you can get the same ones elsewhere for a lot cheaper. I will definitely continue to shop here for deals. read more

Let me start off by saying this is a very busy location in a very busy parking lot that is located off a very busy street!. Now let's get to this review, I walked in looking for a few pair of shoes that my wife asked me to pick up if they were available ( let me add I'm such a great husband :-)!!. Okay as I was stating I walked in the store and was able to find an associate and asked her if she could help me locate a few pairs of shoes that my wife texted me pictures of that she wanted in a specific size, she gladly assisted me and walked around the store endlessly to help me find these shoes,unfortunately the store didn't have them in the size and styles my wife was looking for. So the associate gave the the number off the shoes (which helps the stores locate the shoes and styles easier without a doubt )and to call another location to see if they had the shoes before I went. I'm sorry I didn't get her name because she went WAY above and beyond her job to help assist me, I do remember a conversation her and I had in which she stated that she uses google and maps to get around in which I asked if she was military, she said she wasn't but her sister was and she resided with her and that they were from the Michigan area!. I would definitely recommend this store and I will be back at some point to find the shoes my wife is looking for and I hope I can get her to help me again. I don't come here often but when I do I'm not disappointed. They always seem to have a great sale going on for women, men and children's clothes. However, their store always seems to be a mess because people seem to rummage through the clothes without putting them back. The lines are usually super long and with a wait. Also, the parking lot is always full unless you come early in the morning or late at night. Maybe that's the reason why I don't come often. I'll consider shopping Oldnavy.com from now on. read more

The store is a complete disaster - items in disarray and prices do not match when you get up to the register to pay. What are these workers doing. I would be embarrassed if I was the store manager because there is no care or thought put into displays whatsoever - and I've worked retail for years. I picked 3 items from a sale display rack near the baby items from the very small selection of baby clothes - which were to be either $10 or $6 each. Nothing rang up properly or on sale and the cashier acted shocked when I told her they were from the sale display. I really don't have time to sit and wait an extra 10 mins for them to get someone to go back and check due to their chaos and incompetence in keeping a store tidy with accurate pricing. Especially for some overpriced sh** made in a sweatshop in Bangladesh. Waiting in line was misery enough while being blasted with "Pride" merchandise and fat lazy workers everywhere I look. Gap was always my go-to however Gap no longer has brick and mortar so Old Navy was suppose to be the next best thing. So I thought. I visited the Old Navy in Greenbrier only to find a store that looks like it's been ravaged through with piles of clothes everywhere! It's impossible to find sizes as the clothes are strewn all over the place. In addition to being dirty and a poor representation of the brand (GAP Inc) the customer service is even worse. I purchased a pair of boyfriend jeans and upon wearing them for the first time they ripped. So I take the jeans back and was informed that they are unwilling to stand by their product. To top it off I had the absolute displeasure of speaking with the Manager Joe who refused to provide me with the DM's info for escalation purposes. They are the worst. Just go to Lynnhaven or the Gap outlet in Norfolk. Save yourself the headache! read more

Stopped in here last week to pick up a gift card for my sister for her birthday. I can say, without a doubt, I will never set foot in this store again. The store was absolutely filthy. Clothes were a mess on the tables. The point of sale area where the line forms was was disorganized and dirty. It was first thing in the morning. There is no excuse for a manager to let the store look like this at open. There were plenty of employees around to clean up. What I went in for, I didn't get. Because they didn't have any gift cards, except for a few baby and Fathers Day gift cards. But most of the holders were empty. Are you kidding me? How do you run out of regular, Old Navy gift cards? I ended up getting the gift card at Harris Teeter (they had PLENTY). Glad my sister lives in NC so she doesn't have to experience this store. read more

This Old Navy is in a great location right next to Target and Bed Bath and Beyond. There's also a Dollar Tree here that I go to when I'm in the area. The store is usually pretty crazy as far as clothes being everywhere. Today I went there and it was actually pretty neat. There are graphic tees for men but I never find any for women. I guess that's an Old Navy issue not a location issue. The staff is usually pretty scarce too. I don't think I've ever seen more than one cashier at the register at a time. Also, maybe one person on the entire floor. Not sure why but I usually don't need any help so it's cool. read more

I'd never shopped at Old Navy but I went in during the Labor Day weekend sale and I was glad that I did. I picked up a very nice summer dress that was marked $29.99 regularly but was on sale for $20. I also picked up 3 tank tops and a pair of blue jean shorts. They didn't have the shorts in my size so I purchased the next size up. When I got home to try everything on I realized the dress in the size medium fit perfectly and so does one of the tank tops. I was afraid it was one of those places that cater to the junior sizes and everything would run small. It was all true to size. I found that the jeans shorts were way to large and so were all the tank tops except one. The dress and one tank were all I could use. I went back the following day and all the sale items in my size were gone. I felt fortunate to be able to fit the $20 summer dress and the quality was very good. I couldn't beat the white tank top for $3.49 cents. It was too large as well but not so much that I wouldn't keep it and hope it shrinks a little in the hot water or hot dryer since it's white I can do both. I'd recommend this place for sure. The cashier (her name is Sancia) alerted me to the military discount and she was most kind and helpful. This is my place. For real. If I could only pick one place to shop for the rest of my life, it would probably be Old Navy. I particularly like this Old Navy though because it is always clean and it is very spacious. There is always plenty of staff working at this location and they are friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. This store has children's clothing, women's clothing, men's clothing, maternity clothing, work-out clothing and plus size clothing. There are plenty of options for the whole family. They also have really great sales pretty much all the time. Always a different weekly special on top of a great clearance area in the back of the store. read more

I am getting at that point in my pregnancy where it is getting harder and harder to fit into my pre-preggo gear, so I decided to stop into Old Navy to see their selection of maternity clothes. I feel like the sign on their door is misleading. I don't remember what it said verbatim, but the way it sounded, I thought there would be a bigger section for maternity clothes. Instead, maternity shared a section with active wear. I found a single tank top. The other items I tried were waaaaaay too long. That's why I knocked off a star - not enough maternity options. With that said, I am extremely happy with their clearance section. I was able to find a top I could use for work and I found some cute things for my little munchkin as well! And right now, ON is having a special - buy any 2 clearance items and get 1 free! I love ON's selcetion on baby clothes - I will definitely be back to pick up more things for my princess. read more

I like this old navy. They offer both maternity and children's clothing. I gave it 4 out of 5 only because there toddler boy section is one tiny wall in the corner of the store while the girls section is the other 75%. What's up with the limited boy section??? I came inside today for a pair of Jean. The manager was able to assist me. I received good customer service. But, the AC was down at this store. It felt like it was 90 degrees inside the store. The had no fan available for the employees nor customer to cool down inside. That should be addressed ASAP. read more

I shop here a lot. I can get trendy, durable clothes for the entire family at a good price. That's a real time saver for a family of 5! They even offer a military discount. The place was a real mess at Christmas and it was impossible to find anything, but that's my only complaint. It's usually orderly and the employees will check another store for something specific they're out of. I like that I can return my online purchases in the store without a hassle, as well. read more
