Poor management at this store. Lack of communication with employees and customers. I've been a long-time customer, but I'm done with Old Navy in Edwardsville. Additionally, the coldest Old Navy in the area. The thermostat must be set at 62 degrees. One final thought, the handicapped door has been broken for more than two months without any indication it will be operable any time soon! Another example of poor management. read more

I don't visit old navy very often, but I actually like this store. I've purchased some simple cotton tees years ago and still wear them. They get even softer after washing. It's a great store to buy inexpensive clothes or just want some soft tees to paint in or work out in the yard. If they get ruined no big deal. I usually buy my little guy some summer clothes here, because he's growing so fast and he's hard on clothes. He's usually outgrown them by fall. I've never had any problem at checkout. It's just fun to go and dig around until you find something cute and it's such a great price you can buy every color! I mean, why not? How can you not love Old Navy! read more

Upon entering the store was greeted by employee and ask if we needed any help while we were shopping. The down fall was when we were rung up by the cashier she folded our items in a pile and called over the next customer for service. There was no attempt to put the items in a bag nor asked if we needed a bag. Her statement was we had a bag that had two pair of shoes in it already ​and said she assumed we would use it. Listen, if you're gonna give a place 1 star because the 2 people working didn't greet you and there were 5-6 people in line when you checked out, then you should just move off the grid and live off the land and make your own clothes because you're never going to be happy. And if you give a place 1 star because the local township has enacted a 10 cent per bag tax to try to help eliminate plastic bag waste, and you're upset because "it's just extra profit" for the business, I would argue you need counseling. You're not required to pay for a bag. You can take your own bag. Or you can carry the stuff to your car. I routinely place online order but pickup in store orders at Old Navy. I like their leggings. During the pandemic my size has been sold out for about 4 weeks. I check once and a week and the other day I saw that the Edwardsville, IL store had 4 pairs of my leggings in my size. Since I work in Illinois I decided to place the order and run over to Edwardsville during my lunch break on Saturday. I arrived about 11:30 am. I decided to run in a get the order and not call the number for curbside. When I walked in I was greeted by an associate. I explained I was picking up an online order and she instructed me to wait in the checkout line. Well there were about 20 people in line to check out with 4 registers open and I ended up waiting 15 minutes. The woman behind me in the line did not get the social distancing memo and was standing 1 foot behind me instead of 6 the whole time. If Old Navy is pushing the convenience of buy online/pick up in store then why are we being made to wait in the checkout line? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of buy online? 6/13/2020. read more

This location charges 10 cents per bag. It is a city ordinance. Also seems like a payoff because old navy keeps the 10 cents per bag...so while not a lot for an individual, it is pure extra profit for the store. I mean, this is something they give away for free at other locations. If you want Old Navy, I would recommend hitting up another store or shopping online. read more

Came here on a day that was not busy at all, they only had two girls working the register. No one greeted us when we came in and we weren't offered any assistance. Once we were in line the line racked up to about 5 or 6. we were waiting patiently for about 15 minutes in line. Finally one of the ladies at the register was open and as she was checking us out, her customer prior to us came up to her twice during our transaction because she had left security tags on the clothes. Blonde girl with short hair. Didn't even greet us l, tell us her name, or apologize for the inconvenience. Will not be coming back after this experience. You're better off taking the drive out to Fairview. read more
