I've gotten a leather hole puncher, eyelets, zippers,special needle... a lot. The second reason I go is to decorate like a birthday party or holiday haha. They have a lot of cool things you can buy to make your own original decorations. Staff is also incredibly helpful with these things. When I hosted my 3yo neices bday party In a frozen theme I was able to buy pretty beads, metallic silver thread, and silver fish hooks to make icicles like (from the tree in the movie) and a snowflake chandelier. Staff even directed me on the right type of paper to be bright white in light and strong enough to make custom snow flakes. Staff also suggested the right kind of beads to get so they shimmer in the day but glow on my lighting at night. I was even able to buy the right color sprinkles, muffin papers, and dye for her cupcakes there! When I looked at just buying these premade things online it was around $600. I was able to buy $180 worth of stuff from michaels to make my own and $100 on amazon for frozen wall clings. They can be pricy, but they are well worth a visit and their sales are great! I get all kinds of ideas for decorating when I go there.

A woman cut all of us in line. When we were like "listen lady you just cut us all off" staff asked her to go to the back of the line. She literally said "but I'm from the Chautauqua institution!". It's got just about everything you're looking for, except high-end pricey stuff. I usually find everything I'm looking for, except this one time, I was looking for a shower caddy. The manager said they didn't carry them at our location. A couple weeks later, they had shower caddies. Thank you, Dollar General and our great manager, Gary, for getting this item in the store. They are always expanding and getting new items. The salespeople are always so friendly and very helpful (Laura is my favorite DG helper). I always leave with a smile on my face. Don't know what I'd do without my Dollar General.

Baskets ,tables, displays, stacks.... it's not a wide store it's pretty narrow so really packing the place with stuff makes it feel more like a garage sale than a nice store. It's not too crowded until there are a lot of people in there then all the extra displays and stuff are annoying and claustrophobic. I will give them credit at this location they keep the sink nicely cleaned and stocked . They are also really good at never running out of testers or samples.

All the other local shops only had yellow gold or needed to order the length I needed. The pagoda had the white gold and length I wanted in several diff chain styles. I spent a little more to get the warranty and I'm so happy I did! A few weeks ago I fell asleep in my necklace with my hair down, it got a kink in it when they tangled. I brought it in with the warranty and a super friendly welcoming girl helped me pick out a replacement chain. No issues honoring my warranty 2 days before it expired. I usually shop kay, amazon, silverlust, and tiff. After 2 really good experiences with this place and seeing their variety I'm adding them to my go to list.
