Fan of Old Navy? If your answer is yes, then check out the Waikele outlet location. In my experience, clothing prices are lower than the online store and it is not as crowded. There is a decent selection and if time is of the essence, then check the store availability online before heading over. It's a hit or miss on neatness but being a true bargain hunter, one will look pass the organization. Especially in the clearance section. When I'm finding deals for under $5, can't really complain for budget friendly bargains. And even with the new Safeway next door, parking is spacious and plentiful. read more

I have never been so humiliated in my entire life, let alone how judgemental the sales associate cashier is. I WAS QUITE OFFENDED. When I over heard the cashier stating, " we have a shoplifters and I just do not understand how anyone can't get a job." Like anything, I have been there, I was unemployed for 2 years but that does not mean I choose to be a shoplifter. The cashier said, " anyone who shoplifted are lazy people who do not get jobs and unemployed." Wow, did she really just go there? From what I gather she is blessed to have a roof over her head and have a job. SOME OF US HAVE DISABILITIES BUT CANNOT JUDGE ONE PERSON BASED ON THEIR DISABILITIES, OF BEING UNEMPLOYED. SMH OLD NAVY. This outlet is like the slums of the clothing world. It's a bit dirty in there and there isn't much to choose from. You can find great deals in clearance in the back of the store, but you'll have to do some dirty work sorting through it all. I've noticed the clothes from this outlet don't seem to fit right and it's a ways out of town, so returning it is out of the question. If you decide to try the clothes on, beware of the not so clean stalls. Hopefully someone will bring that to their attention and they can remedy that. I just wanted out of there so fast I didn't have the patience. I recommend the store in Ala Moana Shopping Center if you're hoping for cheap clothes that fit right. read more

Everything from shoes to dresses to Summer essentials, Old Navy delivers! The one big downer about coming here is that there's always a line to check out, but it moves reasonably quickly. One of my favorite places to shop as a busy mom. They always have amazing sales and I love that I can buy for my whole family in one trip! The store is huge as well as the parking lot so I don't have to worry about if I can fit my stroller through the aisles or say "excuse me" every five seconds. There's so much space and I can shop without an associate hovering over me. There's plenty of sizes available and the clearance section is huge! I can get my basics, my lounging clothes, athletic wear, outerwear, dresses, just everything and they're never out of something I want. The clothes actually hold up in the wash too which is a huge plus. There's so many dressing rooms available I can basically just walk-in without having to wait on anyone. The checkout process takes a bit even if the line is short but that's the only con. Love love love read more

I have a love-hate relationship with Old Navy. I only shop here for my daughter if they have deals or sales going on or if we receive gift cards. Honestly, I would not spend a great deal amount of money on their clothes. Doesn't seem worth the price tags on a lot of the items. Most of the friendly employees are at the register up front, other than that, don't expect to receive any kind of customer service...not even a simple "hello!" Or a smile. And this will probably be the messiest and most unorganized store you will step into. I mean adults clothes are left hanging in the toddler section, clothes are not in the correct spots or even on the correct hanger! So be sure to check the size on the actual item you are purchasing for the right size. Because of the sloppiness of this store, I went to the cashier today thinking I was going to get 30% off a dress I had chosen for my daughter. As I went to the register I asked the lady if the dress was on sale because I grabbed it off the rack where it states that it was 30% off. She replied with annoyance in her tone "well it must not be because it's ringing up as xx.xx". I've never had this problem before, when something was on a rack stating there's a discount on it and I mentioned it to the cashier, they have always honored it. Not this time. And there were multiple dresses of the same exact one I purchased on that rack! It wasn't as if it were placed there by accident. Well I was upset at this point and needed to head out for my daughter's swimming lesson, so we bought it and left. Old Navy, please invest in a self price checker! I never really shopped at Old Navy until I turned into an adult and had to buy my own clothes. Prices are cheap and the store is pretty big so you actually have space to roam around. Only thing that makes me cringe is its extremely messy, but I think that's more a fault on the messy customers that mess clothes up and leave it in a wad bc they don't like it (I worked retail, its a peeve). The cashiers are always pleasant though which I find is pretty rare now days. I went in yesterday and got 2 yoga pants, a work out sweater and a cami for $31! Insanely cheap. I started the dreaded task of Christmas shopping today thanks to Old Navy. I stopped in looking to pick up some cheap tops for myself and saw all the great deals they had!! Tops for the whole family for $20 and less... some for as cheap as 2/$7.50! The good deals were pretty enticing... I asked a salesgirl what the return policy was to see if I could pick up a few for Christmas gifts. And yay! It's 90 day return with receipt (or gift receipt). So i picked up a few tops for myself and a few for gifts. The customer service was great too! Having worked in retail (and at a luxury brand to boot), I am HUGE believer in awesome customer service. While I wandered around aimlessly debating what to buy, I was greeted by no less than 5 different employees who said hello and offered their assistance. Granted the store was pretty empty, but I've walked into other places just as empty where the salespeople were more interested in talking to each other than to me. I don't think I saw one person standing around doing nothing. The store was clean, there's lots of parking, and lots of deals waiting inside! read more

I'm a fan of old navy when it comes to purchasing CHRISTMAS GIFTS!!! They always have excellent reduced prices which is a great deal when you have literally like tons of kids in the family. I find this store to be organized as well and the staff are always asking if you need help...in a nice NOT bugging way. I am also a fan for their wife beaters as they are so comfortable to wear. Love this place. Staff is always on point, parking is never an issue. Hours of operations are 7 days a week from 10am-9pm. The selections they have here is wide, and they offer specials basically every month. My go to spot when I buy Jeans. I've shopped at other places, but this is basically the only place I can find jeans that fit well, and that's a plus for me. Keiki selections are huge, they even have workout clothes for them available. They support or US military, so don't forget to show you CAC card or Dependant card to receive an additional 10% off your purchases. read more

I love Old Navy! Like I stated in my last post, I buy a lot of my clothes from here...but I am really UPSET about this last purchase. I bought a pair of jeans and the fricken zipper is broken!!! I didn't realize it. When I tried on the jeans everything was fine. I'm short, so my mom has to hem my jeans. I wore them to work the next day and when i went to the bathroom my zipper was down. I was like...HOLLY COW!!! That's when I realized the zipper was broken. When the zipper is in the down position, it is not suppose to be able to go down. Well this ZIPPER WAS BROKEN. I had to fricken put a small rubber band through the hole of the zipper and then around my button to hold my zipper up for the rest of the day. So embarrassing!!! And to make matters worst, I can't return the pants because my mom hemmed it. GRRRRRRR!!! Fricken A!!!! So to all you Old Navy customers, PLEASE CHECK THE ZIPPER before you buy pants!!! read more

I love Old Navy. I'm not sure why I love them now as I hated them just a few years ago. A few years ago, I thought that the quality of their clothes were not worth the price tag. However, after signing up for their email newsletters and keeping tabs on the sales, Old Navy is thebomb.com! I love getting basic tees for me and the hubs at $5-$6. Kids clothes are the biggest deal. The quality of Old Navy isn't the best, but kids grow so fast that who would care? I also like getting fuzzy socks to make fuzzy cupcakes. I was able to get my whole family some new threads, and of course momma needed some new workout gear. I really like this location because they do pretty good keeping things neat. Went to the outlet in hopes of buying myself and my daughter a few pair of shorts. I walked around the store a good 30 minutes and found very little. I know it's coming up on winter season in the mainland but I would have expected as least some shorts in the clearance section. I also had a hard time finding any maternity clothing, it is a very small section next to the dressing room. Overall I am not impressed with this location. I have been to other old navy stores that even though they were smaller, had better selection. Also the customer service was very lacking. It's always hit or miss for me at any Old Navy...they have lots of affordable clothes; but sometimes, the selection doesn't suit my taste. I bought a Groupon a few weeks ago that was $10 for $20 worth of merchandise, so my BF and I went down to check out their offerings. I couldn't find anything, but my BF found a pair of shorts on sale, so he scored my Groupon! Staff here are pretty friendly and upbeat - never seen one that looked irritated or not happy to be there, so that's good! As a rule I usually don't review big chain companies. Because you know you've been to one you've been to them all. But When you have a bad experience you just have to share it with the world right? Well of course I fell for the marketing ploy. The whole "for one day only you can get this dress for 8$". And it was a cute dress so I drove up to Waikele to go get a dress and a pencil skirt and a blouse. When I got there I walked around for ten minutes. Did I get greeted? Nope! Could I find someone to help me out? Nope! So I went on another ten minute seach and literally had to grab a worker as she was running away. I'm a nice person. I promise! Plus I showered that day so I don't understand why she ran away but anyways back to the review. When I finally found the pencil skirts I decided to look around for other things. So I ended up filling my old navy bag and was heading to the fitting room when a worker stopped me in the middle of the store. Just to try to get me to sign up for the old navy card. Sorry rude old navy worker I do NOT want a Old Navy card. And you bugging me for ten minutes is not going to make me want one. Finally after escaping the nefarious clutches of the worker I made it to the dressing room. Tried everything on and then made my way to the check out. As I was checking out I tried to use the yelp deal. I was told that if I signed up for the email list I would get the coupon next time. And the chick at the check out was extremely rude. No thank you rude lady I will not be returning here. Also I went there a week a go, have I gotten the coupon? No thank you for lying to me. I will not come back here just because of the horrible customer serivce. Not to mention messy displays, limited selection and disgusting dressing rooms. Old Navy clean up your act. Convenient location and now that the Gap Outlet has moved to Waikele Shopping Center, three of the five chains of Gap Inc. Brands is located in Waikele. I've always been a fan of Old Navy because of their deals and I recently used a coupon for 40% off your entire purchase if you were an Old Navy card member. The clothes at Old Navy are very true to their sizes, none of that stuff where small, medium, and large all feel the same size. The only negatives about this location is that the line at the check out counter is ALWAYS either very long, due to minimal cashiers or cashiers that do not know how to work things, and that the store always seems very disorganized because of the clothes piling up in an unattractive mess. The workers in the fitting rooms are always very friendly and are always willing to help you out if you need a different size or need some advice. Overall, great prices will keep me coming back. If Old Navy wants higher ratings for this location, I highly suggest actually opening more than one register at a time. read more

I only like old navy because of their specials, especially for children. I like that their merchandise have a lot of all sizes and that they are all located together and not scattered in different areas. Of course the clothes get all mixed up and that's not the companies fault, it's the customers that come in and don't return things where it's suppose to be. This was my first time in this store in a very long time. Got an email about an awesome sale and decided to check it out. Grabbed some things that I liked and headed to the register. When the cashier was ringing me up, noticed some of the items were full price. I mentioned it to her and she said they weren't on sale and I told her there was a sign stating they were (misleading, false advertisement). I decided not to get the items and she apologized. I was alright until I found out my friend who was at a different register got the same items for the sale price! I'm very disappointed with their customer service. My daughter needed the restroom and there was a big sign that said "sorry for the inconvenience, restroom out of order." so I walked her over to sports authority. When we got back I witnessed an employee take a key and use the restroom that was reserved for "employees". Really? First of all, do employees really need a restroom reserved for them? The ratio of customers to employees is far greater. I yelped about this about a year or two ago, so apparently management doesn't read their reviews or maybe they just don't care. Second, wouldn't it be better to open up the so called "employee restroom" to customers? Customer service? I think not. Who's the idiot that is running this place? However, shout out to Ashley behind the register. I didn't know that there were coupons available for old navy card users. I didn't have my card on me either. Groupon + awesome sale + my husband not caring what I bought = Happy Jerrene! Lary and I both bought a Groupon for Old Navy and he wanted to wait until he lost a bunch of weight before he got anything... he didn't want to have to keep buying clothes. So we came here last Friday after lost 25 pounds in 20 weeks... yep my husband is awesome and HOT too :). The first thing I noticed was that this store wasn't in complete disarry like the Ala Moana location. Less traffic I think. I was able to find things and it wasn't difficult finding things to purchase. I get frustrated when I can't find anything because there are too many people and everything is so cluttered. Everything here was cheap since the sale was awesome! We got men's boxers for $2. What a deal! I got a pair of shorts for $5... they were cute too. The sales associates were nice except for my cashier... she was a bit grouchy too. The rest of them seemed nice when I was waiting in line and then I got the one person that wasn't excited about anything at all. She just seemed like she was trying to get done with me as soon as possible so she could get me out of her hair. read more

I always come to this old navy for my 1.5 year old son's outfits. Very cute, durable, and affordable. I don't shop here much myself cause I'm a tiny girl so a lot of the XS is still a bit big on me. I love that this is an outlet so it's even more affordable with their outlet pricings! Staff is always helpful when I come here. I did only give them 4 stars because I have come here twice within a week and the store was entirely out of shopping bags. Whatever I bought on both trips, I had to walk out the store literally carrying the clothes I bought with the receipt in my hand. With Hawaii's new no plastic bag law I have a lot of reusable shopping bags in my car. If they posted a sign their out of bags I would have ran out to my car to grab my bags before I started shopping. read more

I'm not a big fan of fall/winter clothing, being that we live in hot, sunny Hawaii. And I don't work in a cold office. lol. (: The other week I scored a cute top and a skirt for $8! yay! I was so excited! I like that they have bigger sizes too. I think they have up to XXL? I find all my shorts, capris and skirts here because its hard to find bigger sizes elsewhere. I'm a size 14/16 depending on the style. And apparently that size is an average size? LOL. That size is always out :( This store is pretty neat compared to Ala Moana, and less crowded! There are always employees on the floor folding clothes, putting back clothes that's misplaced. I can see that they try to keep it neat. The employees here are nice, and very helpful. read more

Shop here every now and then. This was my last stop to find my 2 toddlers (girl and boy) outfit for a company's Christmas party. Got bother a total outfit. Wish I stopped here 1st but every time I do go here, prices are high for a kids outfit and there isn't a large selection because the store does only cater for kids. The sell for men, women, infants, toddlers and older children. Which means the inventory/selection will be limited due to the space of the store. For both toddler outfits I spent $95. Broke the van for this one time outfit, but will make it useful and use it when we do go other parties. There are lots of parking and when you do leave old navy, you should stop by the food trucks next door. They have Filipino food, Hawaiian food and miscellaneous that are open around 9 am to 6 pm. Don't forget the FAMOUS MALASADAS Truck Leonards. After shopping, you won't feel too guilty because you end up rewarding yourself with food. Lol. Mmmmmmmmm read more

Old Navy is my all time favorite store! My closet is probably 90% from Old Navy. I somehow end up here every other weekend. There are three locations on the island: Kapolei, Waikele, and Ala Moana. This particular one is located in Waikele shopping center right next to where Sports Authority used to be. It's a pretty big store. It's a great place to shop for families because they something for everyone. Their jeans are awesome! I love the Rock star skinny jeans because they fit so perfectly. They also sell them in different colors. If you're into working out or sports check it theirs active wear as well! I love their leggings, they come in different styles for your preferences. The lines can get long when there's a big sale, but the staff works quickly so the wait doesn't feel that long. Sign up for their emails so you can find out when they're having a big sale or on a particular item you've had you're eye on. They actually tend to always have good deals (especially Black Friday) so you don't pay regular price. If you come here a lot I would recommend getting the Old Navy card for rewards and other coupons. read more
