I recently started coming to the Waikele area more frequently for Starbucks and Safeway, but I'm slowly discovering that there is so much more to explore here! I needed to use the restroom, and luckily, they have a public restroom area. When you walk inside, there is also a cute claw machine place, a nursing area, and an ATM, which is really convenient. Today, I finally visited The Cosmetics Company Store, and I loved being able to walk around and enjoy the samples. My friend also stopped at Mr. Cow to enjoy a Korean corn dog. We've already come here several times for Starbucks, and of course, this is also a really nice Safeway. I truly love the Waikele area. I find it to be one of the nicer parts of town because it feels clean, relaxing, and full of different places to shop and eat. You also have some higher end stores like Michael Kors, plus a brand new Miniso! Every time I drive through this area, I automatically feel a little bit fancier. LOL. I could honestly see myself living here one day just because of all the places there are to visit, shop, dine, and relax. It reminds me of why I love Kapolei Commons so much. Since I'm usually in Kapolei, that is still my regular area, but I would definitely love to spend more time exploring Waikele too. There are even food vendor trucks in the back, which is such a huge bonus. I absolutely love Leonard's Malasadas! If you go toward the side where Mr. Cow is located, you can also find Korean food trucks. There are so many places here that I still haven't discovered, so please don't mind me. The merchandise manager didn't greet us, didn't offer help locating the item we saw in the window, was incredibly rude and didn't thank us after our purchase. If you're interested in looking to DEALAGES, just head on down to the Westside (in the Waipahu area) because the Waikele Premium Outlet stores is there! There are so many stores here, so when you do visit the Waikele Premium Outlet, hopefully you'll find a store that will appeal for you. As for me, a few of my favorite stores I like to visit is - the Lowe's hardware store, Reyn Spooner, & the Van's shoe store. Beside shopping, the outlet mall also has restaurants, a small food court, & numerous food trucks in the parking lot so finding something yummy to eat shouldn't be too hard. Parking here is a breeze, as the outlet mall has ample parking. If you don't have a car, I noticed a lot of tourist would catch a shuttle to this outlet mall. I guess you just gotta do your homework to see the transportation options before coming down here. Beautiful outdoor outlet mall, not too big. Polo Ralph Lauren use to be one of my favorite spots to find deals but unfortunately, it appears as this location no longer offers outlet prices and seems very comparable to a regular polo store. They have had a few stores close and replace with new stores. I still think it's worth checking out if you like outlet malls. read more

For years love shopping at the Waikele Premium Outlets. Coach, GAP, Sephora, Starbucks, Levi's & Vera Bradley are my go to stores, but every store is fun to browse and great to enjoy lunch with my family. Parking is easily accessible, and there's a Chilli's Restaurant, McDonald's, KFC, Baskin Robin's, and many other eateries. The food trucks are also there serving delicious varieties of local hawaiian & authentic flavors. Leonard's Malasada doughnuts is a must, can't go home without a dozen! read more

Haven't been there in awhile and my wife was looking for a new bag and even with the discount at Macy's which was still pretty expensive, we decided to drive out to Waikele outlets which was surprisingly empty with lots of parking spaces and huge amount of discounts ranging from 30 percent in some store and up to 50 to 75 percent at other stores! She enjoyed the shopping and discounted prices and the empty stores without the huge crowds at Ala Moana. It was a long drive but well worth the time & gas for the huge discount offered. read more

It might be small but packs a lot. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice place and a lot of nice shops but for the island it's small. First parking can be tight and during busy seasons (Christmas and New Years) they actually charge for a spot. A parking garage would do wonders to alleviate the problem but not feasible. Shops are good, catered to everyone except little kids. I don't see shops that cater to toys and educational items. Kids will get bored easily. Food court is lacking any real sit down place. It's all food trucks or small shacks. Overall three stars. Bunch of shops that do have cheaper prices here and there. Do your comparative shopping. read more

Thank you for saving me hundreds of dollars before and now! My hubby likes to playfully say, "Shopping spree." after he or myself score multiple sales or discounts. I enjoy shopping with a purpose or need and higher quality merchandise. My go to shops in lower level are Lowe's Home Improvement, Old Navy, BR. My faves in upper level are Crocs, Tory Burch, Famous Footwear, Saks OFF 5th. Customer service is up to par majority of the time. I would love to see Nike, Hanes, sports gear and equipment shop. However, I have to run to the outlet malls on West Coast. Since Waikele area is quite hot, especially in the summer, I would love to see some indoor eateries. Continue to keep a few eateries in shaded areas and food trucks. I always appreciate free parking. read more

Service at Marc Jacobs was excellent. I walked in and went straight for what I came for and the lady helping me was nice and friendly. The value of the purse and wallet I got was such a steal. I have been wanting the Wizard of Oz purse and wallet since it came out but it was sold out everywhere a year ago. I finally stumbled across it and couldn't resist. This outlet was pretty busy after Christmas. Parking in the main lot was hectic but across the street has more space, where old navy, banana republic, and gap are located. This outlet is one of the worst outlets I've been to. It's small so you're able to go around to many stores. Wish they had more stores like Nike and Under Armour since they don't have any sports big box stores in Hawaii. I love shopping here when I feel like I need a new purse. Coach, Kate Spade, Tori Birch, and Marc Jacobs have good selections. I shopped here at Zumiez for my son and realized they had the same price deal they had at Ala Moana. I was shocked... It wasn't much of a discount shopping at the outlet. If you want to shop all day and find a variety of items, go to Ala Moana instead. Parking here is okay if you come here early. Spaces are tight , though. The only other gripe I have about Waikele is that they don't have an indoor food court. They have some kiosks to buy food in the middle with limited amount of tables and chairs. It's always packed there so you end up sitting on some hot cement near the bushes. I don't get this setup at all. Why have a little garden in the middle where it's taking up so much space? Add some tables and chairs for your customers! Or have an indoor food court pls. It's hot and nobody wants to eat outside when they've been walking around shopping. There's also food trucks on the side in which again... you could eat outside. read more

I always give outlets a 5 star. What better way to shop at great prices and lower sales tax! I came with my mom who requires a wheelchair. Luckily, you are able to rent out wheelchairs for your Kupuna (elder/older person). You are just required to leave a form of ID at the office. Lots of parking, restrooms throughout the outlet, and of course a good selection of foodtrucks and little food kiosks to satisfy your cravings while you shop. I usually take advantage of the MILITARY DISCOUNTS as they tack that onto their stores discount. Beautiful views of the blue skies and music throughout the outlet. I was pretty sad they went away with the trolly's but it was nice to get some steps in! read more

We'd been here on our last trip a few years ago. I recalled it was a small footprint. On our most recent visit we made a point of driving over. The shops we purchased from; * Adidas - 40% additional discount on all * Kipling * Samsonite - 35% off packing cubes Each store had very friendly staff willing to help. At Kipling she went into the storeroom to get wallets still in its plastic covering. The best part - Hawaii sales tax 4%. Parking wasn't an issue as it was midweek and stores just opened in the first hour. read more

I usually go here for the food truck and the food stand but on this visit I decided to do some Christmas shopping. Sale prices seem alright, nothing too special but I still purchased gifts for my loved ones. Throughout the years I've shopped at Ala Moana and Pearlridge, but this year I wanted to try something new... The place is okay but it could be better. The huge potholes in the parking lot is a sore sight to see (very ugly looking) and the way cars are maneuvering around it seems dangerous. Impossible to avoid the pothole in a car unless there is a clearing to drive around it but today it's a little busy so I had to drive over it. While walking, ohers including myself, have almost gotten hit due to cars trying to avoid the potholes. These potholes are dangerous for walking and driving and it needs to be fixed immediately so us customers don't get hurt. The bathrooms look nice, but the wet spots on the floor look like a slipping hazard. Overall, today was fine but things could be better. I'll come back again not for shopping but for the silver food truck and food stand. I hope that my next visit I don't see those ugly potholes. read more

Shopaholic Dream is a reality here at Waikele! It's quite a distance for me so sadly I don't come here regularly as I'd like to...and it has been since pre-pandemic since I've been here so I wasn't very surprised to see some favorites have left and the remaining ones makes me think I'm at the Mall as the prices were no different. Waikele Premium Outlets are divided in to two locations as the more smaller individual shops are in one area and larger ones are in another. There used to be K Mart and many others in another area as well we said farewell to years back and not been replaced since. On the flip side some side lots on each location has a few food trucks as permanent staple for more choices with some events like "What the Truck?!" on the first Fridays of the month featuring a lot of vendors from food, snacks and more! We did find a few bargains and fun finds though with this large place bathrooms are a bit of a challenge and would recommend to go before you start your adventure. Thank you! read more

I've been coming to Waikele Premium Outlets for years! They offer a safe, clean, and walk-friendly environment. It's also extremely welcoming to all people - tourists and locals alike. If you are visiting Hawai'i to go shopping, I highly recommend stopping by here. They have stores for every person in your family which makes it fun for most, if not at least bearable. Waikele in itself is extremely beautiful. It's filled with green, lush trees, beautiful palm trees, and beautiful flowers. You can find plenty of parking here. I've never experienced having nowhere to park. If you don't have a vehicle or rental - you are able to take dedicated shuttles here from Waikiki. That's why I enjoy shopping at the Outlets in Waikele (Waipahu) where the sales tax is only 4.712 percent! Sure - it's a bit of a drive, but it's worth it because of the different stores all in one place. My favorites are kate spade, Clarks, Crocs, Coach, Michael Kors, Vera Bradley, and Kipling. Some of the stores (such as Le Sport Sac) carry exclusive Hawaiian prints! Other stores are different from their locations in Ala Moana and Waikiki. For example, Honolulu Cookie Company lets you select your own cookie flavors (instead of a pre-packed set) when you fill a box. Maybe because it's less crowded and the salespeople can pay more attention to customers? The free parking is much appreciated! Lots of stores good location and several eateries near... the open layout gives you plenty of space to not crowd others during these CoVID times. My daughter and I wanted to have a mommy daughter day, so we decided to come to Waikele since we barely come this side. We like coming this is outlet because there are different stores for different things. My daughter was able to go to Jeans Warehouse to buy a squishy toy. The ladies in there were really friendly and were kind to my little girl. Anyway, lots of store options available, from shoes to clothing to bags. Only thing are the bathrooms are kind of dirty and not cleaned as often as you'd hoped for. It does smell, and floors are always wet. A great place to shop without filling guilty just because there are so many amazing deals to be had. Covid has certainly thrown a monkey wrench for everyone and the stores at Waikele has definitely stepped up their game to keep shoppers Covid safe. I came after Christmas to avoid the crowds so it was nice to leisurely shop. I'm not too sure how bad the lines were before Christmas but I was able to get into each store without having to stand in line. Shout out to Adidas for sanitizing all their incoming customers. There is a plethora of food options in Waikele. My favorites include Mountain Magic Shave Ice and Leonard's. CONS: Pre-covid, all restrooms were open. However, during my recent visit, there were only two restrooms available (located at the front). It's not much of a big deal on my end but it could be a hindrance to others.
