We stopped at Nut Tree Village in Vacaville on our way to Sacramento. I really wanted a cup of coffee, but there are a few stores, including Old Navy, in the Nut Tree Village, so higher authorities decided that we should take a look at what they have to offer! The store is very well stocked and organized. I was impressed by how neat everything was, which made it easy to browse through the different sections. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they seemed to be doing a great job keeping things in order. They had a good selection of clothes in all sizes, and we were able to find a few items we really liked. Overall, it was a positive shopping experience, and the prices were great as usual for Old Navy. It's a convenient and well-run store if you're ever in the area. read more

I visited this location for the first time in two years. My last experience was not a pleasant one. I came by on a Saturday which happens to be the last day of the sale that they were having in the store. One thing I will say, I absolutely love Old Navy's jeans!! I bought me a few pairs on sale to stock up on. The store was pretty clean, the staff were welcoming and friendly, and check out was pretty smooth and efficient. Really like shopping at Old Navy. The prices are reasonable. It has sizes for all, and clothing for men and women. I can usually find something and I'm not a junior or misses. They have gift cards for hard-to-buy-for people. The store has a nice selection of women's tops, bottoms, and dresses. They have costume jewelry, socks, etc. The staff aren't overly helpful or attentive but the wait in line wasn't too long. He told us all about the benefits of the credit card and my husband applied and got approved. It was my husbands first time ever at old navy and he wanted to go because when I went for the first time recently I told him how good the clothes are and the sales and clearance and also how friendly the staff is. Came to shop here last night with my kids. Used to be my favorite store before. This place is awful after shopping here so many years, it has changed. People are unfriendly, rude and the place is filthy, bathroom is disgusting. Only one customer service who's very friendly this Asian guy is very helpful always willing to help. This is the store I prefer to come to because I don't like going to the one at the Fairfield Mall. The store is kept mostly clean, but sometimes it's hard to keep everything in its place due to customers leaving clothes in random places where they don't belong. Lazy. So I won't dock a star because of customers. They always have things on clearance, and that's the first place I go to see if I can find anything good. They do have dressing rooms to try your clothes on. I like that it's affordable here. I don't always care for the styles, but they have a pretty broad selection of things to choose from, so I can usually find something that works for me. Old navy has great products but this locations needs to switch up their staff. I'm not sure what's happened to costumer service these past few years but there's a reason why people rather buy online. No one answers the phone at this location and yes I consider their busy hours which is why I've called right when they open. And I've worked retail for years, I know they don't get crazy busy when opening. I've called to have someone help me return my online pick up items at this location since I don't live in the area and was unable to pick up. I probably called 20 times and the girl that did answer two of the times I called, was very unprofessional and I hope she's not management. But if she is, that explains all the other reviews on here about service. I was super friendly and stated I'd appreciate if someone can help process the return. She brushed me off and said it was done but it wasn't since it wasn't reflecting on my order account. Vacaville, do better, and get better staff. I love Old Navy and their sizing inclusivity. However, when I walked into this location at 8:20pm on a Thursday night I did not feel welcomed, it was all the contrary. One of the sales associate was following my every step in the store. I was trying on a very cute burgundy three-button vest and she stood about 6 feet away from me "fixing clothes" (pushing the clothes on the rack from one side to the other). I took the vest off buttoned it and hung it back on the rack where it belonged and walked away. She then walked over to the same rack and "fixed" the vests on that rack. I walked over to try on a beige blazer, which was also very cute and after I checked it out in the mirror I walked back over and hung the blazer exactly where it belonged and as I was walking away from the rack with the blazers the same sales associate popped up to "fix" the rack. At that point I decided to leave the store because I did not feel comfortable nor welcomed by the folks there. I understand that they were closing in 40 minutes and she wanted to keep the store organized for closing time but I felt rushed and uncomfortable. I went to the store to exchange a pair of Christmas pajamas that I purchased online for my son. They had the correct size I needed on display(M), but the manager refused to take it down so that I could purchase it. Very disappointed. I asked if they could put the size I was returning (L) on the display mannequin but was told no because it was the wrong size for there display. So....I'm not much a shopper and when I see an Old Navy...I usually have to think twice about entering. I like the clothes though I feel they have diminished in quality over the years - that being said I probably have only shopped in an Old Navy 3/4 times in the last few years. This particular time I had extra time to splurge and I dropped in...as noted the quality was mediocre and I finally settled on a simple tank top...and THEN I saw the line....and there was literally 20 people ahead of me. This was midday week day.... So I had to comtemplate the $10 purchase and I walked away. Unfortunately every time I've been in an Old Navy...lines are ridiculously long or I have the worst timing. For the price points and quality - I'll have to pass on shopping at Old Navy....styles are basic at best. read more

Waiting in line at the old navy. There are literally 40 people in line waiting. 40 actual paying adults and then they mostly have wee ones that are trying on sunglasses and asking for orange Fanta. There are three cashiers... Wait in truth there are three people helping at two registers. One employee is assisting the other with limited results. Update... Now only two cashiers... Wait there are two people helping at one register. The line has not moved in about 10-15 min. Update... Now one cashier is calling for help after 25 min. Why would you wait twenty five minutes to call for help? If a person was drowning, they would call for help immediately. If a person saw a fire they would call for help immediately. Now I wouldn't expect that kind of reaction but if your drowning In a sea of angry customers on fire from you customer service then I would call before the 25 min mark. Update... Three cashiers now working three registers. Is the line moving? Well picture a snail moving up an incline on a hot day. So yes it's moving but it's almost undetectable. Anyways, I was in there yesterday & I asked an employee if her jeans were from the store. She told me no & I was like damn they're so cute. So I get in line to check out, the same employee comes up to me & asks if she can show me a pair of jeans that were similar to hers just a different color. They only had one size left and she knew they would fit me just by looking at me. So naturally I tried them on, they fit like magic & I bought them. Not a bad location, but I wasn't impressed either. For a new location though it was sorta on the clean side, but their racks were really scattered and unorganized. Their clearance section at this store was huge! What I did enjoy was when the checkout line was getting long, employees actually came up to open new registars, it even surprised me. But I can't say this was a great experiance as the douchebag behind the counter wouldn't let me use my birthday coupon with their Stuff and Save sale. And then he hijacked my coupon! I'm slowly starting to strictly do my old navy purchases online. Why? Because my local old navy is deteriorating over time. Before when they first opened the store was fully stocked, clean, and the employees actually are friendly. This will probably be my last trip to the Vacaville location to do my actual shopping. Since it's much easier to return anything through them on anything I didn't like in my old navy online order. My most recent visit consisted of absolutely no greeting, not even a nod my way. Especially from this guy that was folding jeans near the front in the women's area. I must've pasted him 3x and still no interaction at all. Same goes for all the employees there. The store was not busy and there were barely 5 customers in the store. I saw something on a mannequin that I wanted and couldn't find a employee to point me in the right direction when I couldn't find it myself. Place was a mess as well. Took my 2 year old in for some spring & summer clothes. She loves that there is a coloring table she can play at while I shop in the baby/toddler section. There was a great clearance selection today and I was able to get her a ton of stuff for a great price. But the best part was the customer service! Rose in the fitting room saw me digging through my wallet for a quarter to get my daughter a bouncy ball from the machine. I haas told my girl she could have one but I forgot I had just recently emptied out my change. Rose came over and gave her a quarter, saving the day! My kid was so happy. Then when we were paying, my daughter asked the cashier for a balloon because she saw some other kids had them. She called someone in the back of the store and had them bring one up in the color of her choice. So pleased with our experience today! read more

Good location, abundant parking, lots of cheap clothes inside, the usual assortment of corporately "unique" Old Navy decorations. Check, check, check. They did have the ubiquitous Old Navy rubber flip-flops in size boat-oar, something the Sac stores seem to avoid, so that's nice. read more

My husband & I have gone to this old navy many times before & always had a "ok" experience, but last night was the turning point. We came in to do some holiday shopping at 10:00 pm the store hours stated clearly that they where open until 11:00. Not one employee said a word to us other than glare at us, to say who has the nerve to dare come in this store! We got the impression that we where bothersome & I even asked a employee if the where closed? Maybe the sign was wrong? He replied with a "no we are open until 11 not even bothering to look up from folding clothes. It again was only 10:03 at this point, I totally understand no one wants work once it's almost closing time but had they said something like "hey just to let you know we will be closing soon or maybe Hi welcome in. Besides the fact that there was no soap in the women's bathroom and it looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time, service is always terrible.Today I walked up to the checkout, nobody in line in front of me, and nobody manning the check stands. Yet about 25 feet away, n full view, three employees stand in a circle just chatting away. I started the timer on my phone and it took them three and a half minutes to notice me standing there waiting to be checked out. Either it's like this, or there aren't enough people manning the cash registers when you have to wait forever to get out of there. read more

There was this item I have been wanting for a couple of weeks now but it is always out of stock both in stores and online. I was heading back from the Bay Area and decided to give this store a call to see if they happened to have it. Rebekah answered and was super helpful. She informed me that they were completely sold out but they did have a couple available online. She also told me that, if I ordered in the store, I'd get free shipping. It was already about 8:45 so I knew I'd be cutting it close on time. She said it was no problem and that she'd have the order all ready to go for me once I got there. I walked in, asked for her, she had it up on the iPod and we got the order placed in no time. I was in and out before 9 and the order already shipped. Old Navy needs more employees like Rebekah.
