Each room is meticulously appointed with every possible item you could need or want, including a little mini fridge and freezer and Coffee and tea bar. The grounds are spectacular and include hundreds of flowering plants and herbs and huge old trees. At night, all you hear is the sound of the lapping of the lake. I spotted a few eagles from my balcony. Denise and Carey are wonderful hosts. When you arrive, Denise gives you a detailed overview of the property, the numerous amenities, and help with choosing a restaurant. After that, she leaves you to enjoy your privacy. If you need anything, all you do is text Denise and she responds right away. There are many places to hang out on the property, including on the dock, or on the patio in the shade, or on your balcony if you have the upstairs rooms. If you're wondering why there aren't many yelp reviews, that's because there are many reviews on Google. This is by far one of the nicest places I have ever stayed, and I highly recommend it. Be sure to stay for at least two nights! There's a ton of lake activities in the area, and you might just want to spend a day lounging around the property.

Very experienced at hosting. This is a very friendly and professional environment. They also have a Tesla charger which is how I found out about them via PlugShare. You'd be wise to not overlook this charming bnb! It consistently charges at 9kw @ 40amps. Very reliable which is important as this is the only charger for many miles.

The rooms are extraordinarily spacious. The beds are deluxe. The security locks on the doors are great. It is a slice of home and in new condition. The free Ardy's breakfasts are fantastic, fresh kitchen diner cooking that is first rate. One would pay two to three times the price at an outdated two star in any major city and be lucky to get a slice of toast and mini donut for breakfast. It's been a joy to witness Ralph and his family build the place. Slowly and with pride and painstaking attention to details. This is not a franchise. They grew this business, literally building it a couple rooms at a time. Taking the money they make from providing excellent bed and breakfast style customer service, offering a great product and reinvesting back into their business. Ralph is trusting, the accommodations are great, and you won't find a better nights rest after the long trip north. We pack in for a week at a time, wife and three kids and easily fit all the gear we need for a week of hiking, camping, and boating with room to spare. It's better than an extended stay hotel. Ralph could easily triple the rates. Or so I tell him. One should reserve here while rates are still low.

The manager was flustered when I told her, saying everything was new and there were no bedbug issues. When I pointed out the mattresses aren't new, she acted confused then blurted out that they sprayed a week prior. Why spray if there are no bedbugs? I said I can't stay anymore and she apologized profusely saying she felt bad about it. I was later issued a partial refund and was told there are no bugs in the room and I must have been bitten outdoors. Attached picture is the bites in the breakfast, lunch, dinner pattern of bedbugs. My mother stayed across the hallway from me and left with bites all over her neck. The stress of de-contaminating everything when I returned home was awful. Will never stay here again.

The house and grounds are magnificent, the service warm but discrete. Items that in name brand properties you get charged for are gratis here, without asking. Bottled water and ice in the fridge, Keurig machine and selection in the room, wonderful home-made short cookies on a plate, chips and breakfast bars in a basket in the room, and the best part, their own breakfast blend of coffee already for you to brew loaded up in the coffee machine. It is so nice to wake up to a flavorful strong cup of coffee in the morning, this makes the stay worth it right there. The beds are big, comfortable with high end linen. The bathrooms are big, huge, with terrycloth robes and Egyptian towels. Wifi is great with very good speed (35Mb/s avg.). I've stayed in three different rooms and all had their own warm personality and classic touches. I really like the Mountain penthouse room with the small private deck. They know I'm a smoker and always have an ashtray out there waiting. When I come in the door I'm welcomed by name. So nice after a long drive or flight. When I walk in I know that I don't have to worry about anything, it's already taken care of.

If you're looking to park your rv in one of the most magical places in all of Montana, you can rent a spot for $35/$45 depending on what electrical you need. Full hook ups included. And the host, Jim, is the best part. But I'll get to that. The rooms at this beautiful B&B are only $100 a night. Jim could EASILY charge $300 a night. Breakfast is included, and you have a private balcony overlooking the most beautiful valley I've ever seen. There are only 3 rooms available. And despite knowing he could charge way more, Jim wants to keep the rooms affordable so that anyone can enjoy them. I was passing through in my RV and it was getting late and I saw his large parking lot. I called him in hopes that he would have a quiet spot for me to park in, and I was more than happy to pay him. The voice on the other end of the phone was warm and welcoming, and said "sure come on by!" I never imagined he would have full hook ups and give me a guided tour of his beautiful bed-and-breakfast that he built by hand himself. Jim is one of the kindest, most welcoming people I've ever met. He made me feel like I was talking to an old friend. In the morning we stood on the huge balcony and had coffee together, watching the birds flutter about UNDER us. That's how high up you are!!! I really hope to be passing through again sometime. Because I'd love to see him again. I hope you get to see this review Jim! Thank you for being so wonderful!!!!

Talus was eclectic, artistic and it felt like we were a guest in somebody's amazing house. It was a midweek stay. Maybe there was another couple there. We had the house to ourselves. That night we saw deer grazing out back and it snowed overnight. We woke up to a beautiful scene which included a few people ice skating on the frozen pond. We were in the Kipling suite which had a jet tub big enough for two people to swim is. It had a mini fridge, microwave, small coffee maker with coffee. A definite off the norm place to relax. On a side note, had an over the top dinner at 113 Main.

Hi Heather, Thank…read moreyou for taking the time to respond and engage with the feedback--it's clear you care deeply about the property. We hope that on a future visit, you might experience TRR from the perspective of a first-time guest--someone arriving with the hope of finding a peaceful retreat, but instead feeling somewhat like they've unexpectedly stepped into someone else's private space. While you see meaningful memories and personal touches, guests may interpret these items, photos, and instructions differently. The feeling of intrusion was heightened when the resident innkeeper prepared their own family's meal in the middle of the great room, making the shared space feel less like a guest retreat and more like someone else's home with lingering odors. There's so much to love about the property--the architecture and setting are truly stunning. With a bit of refreshing (particularly in terms of dusting all the bric-a-brac) and a shift in focus back toward creating a getaway experience, TRR could easily return to the high ratings it once enjoyed--as a place where guests can relax, reset, and grow.
