Why work with someone that is willing to lie in their listing? When the appraisal came back 30k under contract, he failed both me and his client by not even presenting a counter offer. instead, he canceled the contract, which lead to me losing the home and over $2,000 in expenses. As a first time home buyer, I believe all buyers and sellers deserve agents that are willing to put in hard work for their clients. It's clear that Evan and Edmonds Realty are not willing to do so and have failed so many parties.

If my agent was only concerned with "getting the deal closed", as Brian asserts, she would not have supported my decision to look elsewhere, based on a significant issue with the condo that the seller could not or would not resolve before closing. I feel that Edmonds Realty helped me dodge a bullet, even though it meant more work on their part for basically the same fee. In other words, I was well represented and advised by my ER agent, while it appears that Brian is blaming my agent - rather than his own - for his dissatisfaction with his selling experience. So again, if you want an agent who will make your satisfaction the top priority, I can say without reservation that this was my experience with Edmonds Realty.

He spent time talking and explaining things to me even when there may not be a deal. When I called again after making some progress, he remembered our previous conversation and we were able to quickly confirm next steps. Cops didn't remove them because they were professional realtors that knew what they were doing... he bragged about this to me and that this realtor is so adamantly defending this behavior by saying 'well there weren't quite 100 people' or 'this guy did an illegal Airbnb' is foolish - the bottom line is that this guy did throw this party and used his professional license to target me. So if there were 75 people at the party it's okay? This business and its representatives might do this to you if they've done it to anyone else... they clearly aren't showing any remorse. When I moved in, there were spiderwebs and dead bugs everywhere and now Im being told that I need to clean them up, paint the entire place, and so on in order to get my deposit back and not accrue additional fees. Considering that the space was literally used to store my stuff for three weeks since I couldnt actually work in there, I find it hard to believe that theres a laundry list of issues that now need to be remedied to avoid charges. When we originally rented the garage style unit it was unpainted, the manager said if we would accept it unpainted (it was just bare sheetrock) then when we left we wouldn't need to paint it. They raised the rent like clockwork, but that's fine, it's business after all. After over 3 years we decided to leave since we were barely there. Before doing so we double checked with the manager on the paint situation. Two different managers told us not to worry about it, there would be no charge. Then a month later we received a bill for $550! (It somehow cost $550 to paint a tiny 8x14 room?!?) Well they kept our security deposit. I reached out to the management office about the situation and they replied with a surprisingly hostile letter basically saying screw off and don't try taking legal action. They headache wasn't worth the $500 so I guess they won, but it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.

All of Shelley's closings are done on a mobile basis, meaning she goes to the clients- she doesn't make them travel to her office, which most of them appreciate very much. There is no additional charge for this "extra". All of my clients are seniors. Shelley is extremely skilled in working with them, and being sensitive to any physical or other limitations that they might have. One of the biggest headaches for many loan originators such as myself is having a qualified and dependable escrow closer. That's something I don't have to worry about with Shelley Sykes! I am in the process of buying a house, and unfortunately the sellers are using Fidelity. They sent…read moredocuments to our email, and are basically like "good luck figuring it out." Although my buyer's agent gave us definitions of what each item could mean, we wanted more information about the specific Title that was sent by Fidelity. I first contacted the person who was listed on the Purchase Sale Agreement. Kim, responded that she dealt with escrow and recommended that I try and find a Title officer to speak to. Good service would be for Kim to give me a specific contact, and a number/email to reach them at, or even a step further, contact them herself, and ask them to reach out to me. So I ended up just calling the general number and being transferred to a loan officer named Carlos. When I asked for help understanding the document that his company developed, he tried to refer me back to my agent and said that agents should help us understand the document. However, Kim herself (Fidelity employee and escrow agent) told me to contact the Title dept directly for help understanding the info. To me, Carlos acted bothered by my request, so I asked to speak to someone else. Ryan, another officer got on the phone, and helped me. I should not have had to go through all of this, and so if I ever need a Title company, I would never ever ever choose this one. Their customer service is lacking.
