Cinnamon roll, birthday cake donut, bear claw, And iced chocolate donut.
    Alexis F.

We stopped on our way back from hiking Bogey Creek Preserve. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but a lot of people stopped for donuts while we sat outside eating our donuts at the picnic table. Inside there was plenty of seating, but since we had our dog with us, we sat outside. I was able to go inside and order at the counter. In addition to donuts, they have breakfast wraps, kolaches, and coffee drinks. For our family, I chose the cinnamon roll, birthday cake donut, iced chocolate donut, and bear claw. With the iced coffee, it was around $15 for everything. Although the donuts weren't hot, they were fresh and not stale tasting. The cinnamon roll and the bearclaw were big! Our son enjoyed the birthday cake donut and kept trying to feed our dog it as well. If you live in the area, they are available on UberEats and Doordash.

I stopped by Old Soul Donut Co. after grabbing a surprise bag on the Too Good To Go app -- and it did not disappoint! For just $7.51, I got a whole bag of fresh, handmade donuts. This time we tried the classic glazed (SO soft and melt-in-your-mouth), a few pumpkin cake donuts (perfectly spiced), and a custard-filled stick that was absolutely delicious. The shop itself has such a cozy, neighborhood vibe. Everything is made fresh in-house every morning, and you can taste the difference. I also love that it's family-owned -- Matt and Courtney clearly put a lot of love into what they do, and it shows. They're located right off New Berlin Rd, which is super convenient if you're in the Oceanway or North Jax area. If you're heading to the beach or just looking to treat yourself, this is the spot! Bonus: they also offer kolaches, breakfast sandwiches, croissants, and more -- so there's something for everyone. Can't wait to come back and try more!

I was introduced to this restaurant through a food waste app called too good to go. I placed an order for mystery bag of donuts and this is what I received. The inside of the shop felt cozy and inviting. As soon as you open the doors, you are met with the sweet smell of donuts. Staff was super friendly. I would definitely recommend this donut shop to anybody in North Jacksonville!! I wish I lived closer!! Everything was spot on. I was able to share these donuts with over 10 people and everyone enjoyed them! Thanks old soul!

I wanted coffee so checked Yelp for a non-chain shop and ended up at Old Soul Donut Co. First off, the staff was great helping me order. I ended up with an egg, sausage and cheese croissant that was delicious and savory. I also ordered an Americano, when you want strong but are an espresso wimp, that woke me right up! They make everything, including donuts, on-site so you're getting fresh and it shows in the taste. It's not a big shop, don't come expecting glitz and glam, but do come ready for good donuts, kolaches and croissants.

Great little family owned donut shop here in Jacksonville. I love the variety of choices and how fresh everything is. Staff is super friendly

    Cinnamon Rolls are huge

What a great addition to this area's breakfast culture. Great service. Great donuts. Amazing. apple fritters. No, they have plenty of donuts, like cinnamon buns, and jelly filled donuts and if you're purist, the simple glazed donut. But I have to tell you, I dream of their apple fritters. They are flat, and filled with fruit, which I love and I recommend it to people that are staying in our house on Hector Drive every time someone visits. I don't think you go wrong here

Old Soul Donut Company makes a pretty solid donut and I would definitely recommend Old Soul Donut Company if you are looking for a nice sweet indulgence. The staff here was friendly and the donuts were a hit at the company function. I would definitely recommend Old Soul Donut Company.

Donuts are top notch lots of flavors to choose from. The apple fritter and glazed croissant are a must They also have kolaches but I wasn't a fan of the sausage. My bf loves them tho. Off the beaten path but worth it. Cute place to sit too inside.

6 donuts- mini cinnamon roll, Holland cream, glazed, old fashioned chocolate drizzle, old fashioned birthday cake, strawberry frosted glazed

I've been to every local donut shop in Jacksonville- except Old Soul Donut since it is a 30 minute drive for me. A trip to the zoo with my toddler son gave me a reason to take a bit of a detour on our way and try Old Soul Donut, and I'm glad we did. The shop is in the middle of an industrial zone, which is a bit unusual, but hey, my son liked seeing all of the trucks, so no complaints. The shop has plenty of parking available, was clean inside, and has plenty of seating to sit and enjoy your donut. We stopped in about an hour before they closed, so their selection was diminished (no cronuts, sadly), but was still solid. I ordered a half dozen and had at least a bite of them all. The mini cinnamon roll was by far my favorite, with a very strong, quality cinnamon flavor and not overly sweet. The birthday cake and chocolate drizzled old fashioned donuts were both quite sweet, but good. The glazed was all right, sweet and doughy. My son loved the sweet strawberry glazed donut with sprinkles. Me not so much since I didn't dig the glaze, but it wasn't for me anyways, right? Lastly, I had a Holland cream filled donut. It was enjoyable, but not memorable. The service was professional and friendly. Of note, they do pass along a 3% credit card processing fee. The menu board shows cash prices. Overall, Old Soul Donut has a wide selection of very good donuts at reasonable prices. For me, their taste doesn't quite meet the level of top tier shops in Duval (Cheer Donuts, Doughfee, Daily Donuts, and Parlor Doughnuts are my favorites), but if I lived closer, I would still stop by regularly since they are quite delicious.

Fresh doughnuts on the daily? Yes please. I really came here on a tip that they had apple cider doughnuts and being from the northeast, this signals fall for me like nothing else. I was excited to hear someone in the area sold them. It was a 30 minute drive but we had to give them a try. They have a decent sized parking lot and are located near a few industrial parks so you're thinking that you're not really competing for parking but the parking lot was full when we walked out. A dozen was about $16 which is pretty good for what you get - classic and unique flavors that are fresh and nicely sized. Plus, you're supporting a small business. They have a decent seating area if you don't want to take your treats to go. When we got there we saw they have a few breakfast items as well. We ordered 3 apple cider with and 3 without caramel, pumpkin with and without caramel and one with cream cheese, samoa, cronut, and a sour cream.

Beautiful Donuts with amazing taste and great selections for all ages. One of our drivers were nice enough to gift these to our office as a family member owns the establishment. Thankfully it's close to work as we will be visiting ourselves really soon again!!

Family owned small business right down the road from where I currently live. I've been meaning to check this place out for months. I kept missing the hours they were open bc they close at 12:30pm on days they are open (closed Sundays) - my fault for not checking. They currently have a 10% off deal if you call ahead, order, and mention the "back to school" deal for the month of August. I loved the classics the best - glazed and chocolate glazed. The birthday cake ones were a slightly different consistency, a little more cake like of course, less pillowy/doughy than the normal doughnuts. The next time I stop in, I would like to try the sandwiches and drinks. I would compare the flavor and texture of these donuts similar to a mom and pop version of Dunkin' Donuts. Solid satisfying level if you have a hankering for some of the classics, and they weren't "cheap" with the icing/ glaze which is what I love. No one wants to eat a dry donut that leaves you feeling like you need a gallon of water to help wash it down. These had plenty of glaze and icing on them. Don't forget to use the deal if you visit this month

The Strawberry Crumble donut was the only donut we tried, and it was pretty good, but I'd guess I slightly prefer the (excellent) Krispy Kremes. Our beef (hot dog) kolache was nice, but I don't think it was a great example of type. I've never tried a kolache before, but I can say the hot dog croissant I had at Cruffin & Tea a while back was much better, including the quality of the hot dog. Apple fritters are a favorite, but theirs was enormous, so we couldn't try many things here if we got that, so we saved it for a future visit. The owner also said the cinnamon roll were good, and that's another favorite to try on a future visit. They also had lumpia on this Saturday, but were out of empanadas by the time we got there after noon. Prices were reasonable: $10.81 with tax for the three items. I'd like to try this place again.

It was a little bit of a drive away, near the beach, and there was absolutely no parking on a Friday night. My husband dropped me off and circled while I placed a few to go orders. It was a cute little shop with donuts, shakes, and ice cream. The donuts are not traditional donuts; more like deep fried donut holes that are covered with all kinds of yummy toppings. They're also served nice and hot and in 10 packs. They had lots of cool donut flavors like: Dark Delight, Maple Bacon, , White Tella, and Love U Matcha, The prices range from $8.75 to $9.50 per box. They all sounded yummy; but we decided on Twix Fix, drizzled with caramel, melted chocolate, and cookies, and Lotus Crunch, which was topped with melted Biscoff cookies. Our order was ready in about 5 minutes and the bag of donuts was nice and warm. We ate them when we got back home. They were more chewy and heavier than regular donut holes, but rich and delicious. You could really only eat a few; so a box of 10 is a decent sized dessert for 2 people to share. Lukumades is definitely a very unique donut experience and worth supporting because they're not a huge chain. You'll be glad you tried them....and its worth the drive.
