We had a large number of guests traveling from out of state to attend, and we struggled with finding accommodations that would fit our needs. We wanted to be able to make a nice recommendation for guests that would be close to the wedding venue and allowed the use of a shuttle service. Many of the nearest hotels were in Cedar Park, which was not as close as we would have liked. After some research, we found North Shore Vacation Rentals which had a large number of rental properties within The Island on Lake Travis. Having so many rentals in one area made shuttle service much easier to plan. From the moment I reached out, Katie and the staff at North Shore were such a pleasure to work with! They really went out of their way to help make my very large room block work smoothly. Katie personally showed us the property and a number of the rentals before we committed, and we were impressed by the shape that many of the condos were in. The Island also offered a few amenities, including access to swimming pools, a spa, outside barbecues & picnic tables and even a bar/restaurant on property (where we hosted our after party following the wedding reception). I am so happy we chose to go this route not only for the convenience factor, but also for the exceptional customer service that was provided. Katie even walked the entire property with me the weekend of our wedding to help me distribute welcome gift bags for our guests. In addition to rentals within The Island, North Shore also offers other rental properties. One very nice house in particular located just a short distance from The Island was rented out by a group of guests as well. Guests had nothing but nice things to say about the business, all of the beautiful lakefront views, and the numerous deer sightings in Lago Vista. If you're looking for a place to stay in the area or just an excuse for a getaway, I would highly recommend considering a rental through North Shore Vacation Rentals!

Seems professional at first, and then it gets bad....really bad. Matt (the owner) came out to my…read morehouse to offer a quote after I first called him to inquire about his services. He brought some of his crew with him, told me they are very professional, often the same crew each time that comes to your house, and that they are very dependable. Well none of this turned out to be true. HIs crew came out a total of 3, maybe 4 times. They scratched up my walls with black marks each time, on several occassions left dust balls and did not clean under the beds. After complaining the first time, Matt called me back to tell me I should get a magic eraser to fix the walls and said this would not happen again. The last time they cleaned, Matt waited a few days to call me back (even though he charged my card instantly) and became extremely rude and arrogant claiming that the scratches were "hairline" and asking me "haven't you ever bumped into your walls before?" Yes Matt, I have bumped into my walls before, but not every time I am in my house in 2 hour windows and I don't leave gouges or pay myself $200 each time to do it. On top of that, he claimed (at the end of the call, which is not legal in consumer law) he was recording this call and that he was going to share this recording with others on social media if I wrote a negative review. I say go for it Matt, show your customers how you treat them. Already contact my bank and the BBB and will make sure I get my money back, but do yourself a favor and don't even bother with this company.

I didn't mind paying $250 for the whole house to be deep cleaned but only one cleaner came and worked six hours straight but only cleaned one bathroom one bedroom and the kitchen. They should have sent at least two cleaners for a deep cleaning. I liked the lady who cleaned but clearly it was too much for one person. I should have been charged much less since the job was not completed. I will not use this company again.

I hired this company to do a move-in clean on a new build house. Now the builder had just had the…read morehouse professionally cleaned so it was already it good shape, but since I have dust allergy I just wanted a bit more. Now to their credit, they did fit me into their schedule in just a days notice. I met them at the house, paid & provided all my own cleaning supplies. When I went back to check, as I took my shoes off at the door I noticed dust & grit on the soles of my feet. Next I find, crumbs & dirt on the countertops, shelves not wipes & gritty dust on all the wood floors & a food wrapper left behind. (Since I had not moved in yet there was no food in the house). I grabbed my bona mop ( it & the 2nd cover I left had not even been used), the cleaners & rags I left were all unused. I cleaned 2 rooms with the first cover, then 2 with the 2nd. They were so filthy (nearly black) that I had to wash them & start again. Till I finished I had coated both mop covers 3 times each. Art had called on his way to see if the AC was on yet. I suspect that they sat around in the AC to chat or whatever & eat. Whatever they did it was certainly not cleaning. I asked for a refund & was refused. There was no offer to re-clean. I do not recommend this company.

When we called about the lack of transparency we were told that the cleaners spent more than the allotted cleaning time on the property and could do nothing. You would think the least they could do is grant a partial refund - I get they have to pay employees and don't want to lose money, but I don't feel like they should profit off the employees clocking 3 hours for no service provided.
