There was a young man in there that looked like he was washing dishes and cleaning up, but the smell and the amount of cleanup required an army. Wow! I think in order for Ponderosa to survive, they need to embrace health and foods that are simple with reduced processing. I will say that the options on the buffet line can be hit or miss sometimes on options you'd eat but for the most part, there's a good variety for everyone! The service here is also super friendly, never had a bad experience with the staff here. They also keep the food on the buffet line nice and fresh! She seemed to hate her job. I ordered a black and blue chicken sandwich with no onions. I received a black and blue hamburger with onions. I do not ever eat red meat. I told the waitress I ordered chicken. She said, "There's no chicken in there". She laughed and walked away. I ate a few bites of the sandwich since I was hungry and she never made an effort to bring me what I actually ordered. By the time we got home, I was feeling sick.
