I would not recommend Timbers. We had a terrible experience at this restaurant on Father's Day. The waitress greeted us by saying she'd be so happy when it was time for her to go home. She seemed to hate her job. I ordered a black and blue chicken sandwich with no onions. I received a black and blue hamburger with onions. I do not ever eat red meat. I told the waitress I ordered chicken. She said, "There's no chicken in there". She laughed and walked away. I ate a few bites of the sandwich since I was hungry and she never made an effort to bring me what I actually ordered. By the time we got home, I was feeling sick. Two of our family members ordered a half chicken and they received a quarter of a chicken. Their salads were all wrong. We asked what kind of salad dressing or steak sauce they had. She kept very rudely saying "Name it!" If we gave her a name, she didn't even reply if it was available or not. She would just walk away. We had to get up to fetch our own water refills. This bad news bear poor excuse of a waitress made our Father's Day family meal miserable. Worst experience ever! We will not be returning to Timbers again. We were seated close to the bar beyond a half wall. The noise from the bar was so loud that we couldn't hold a conversation. I ordered 1/2 rack of ribs. It came smothered in BBQ sauce that was really sweet. So much that I scraped it off. It was also cooked with a different BBQ sauce than served with. There was plenty of meat that fell off the bone. My wife ordered the Walleye. It was a large portion but said it tasted just okay. At $28 it should have tasted great. Our guest ordered the New York Strip. We had a good experience here. Service was excellent. I liked the supper club vibe of the place lots of tables for seating. I chose a local white wine from Satel which was delicious. For my meal, I chose the small ribeye steak. It came with choice of veggie or potato and I chose the veggie special which was roasted brussel sprouts with bacon. You also got a starter salad with the meal. The food was just ok. My steak was tender and tasty but cut really thin which wasn't what I was used to. This is a fantastic restaurant, we have been coming here for awhile now and the food is delicious I had the baked cob it was perfect so much flavor and my husband had the pork chops they were also delicious and perfectly cooked and I cannot forget the excellent service we had gabi was the nicest server we ever had so kind and quick with everything. Staying overnight at the state park and decided to eat at the Timbers, party of 10, a Wednesday night. If there were 6 stars we'd give it 6. Wonderful on all levels: food, price, service. Food: half of us had steak, each done perfectly as requested. The other half had sandwiches (Philly Steak), a burger, and one salmon dinner. Again, no complaints. Price: we all remarked that we had paid twice as much at corporate steak houses (T. Rd, Log...'s, and some chef's establishments) and none were any better and all were $$$$ compared to Timbers. Service: Brianna, Brianna, Brianna!!! Pleasant, attentive, efficient, friendly. The Timbers has a a real jewel in her. If you're in the area suggest a meal at this restaurant. Visited at 10am on a Tuesday morning. Very minimal tables sat, yet when we asked to order (why did we have to ask???) the server said she would be back in a minute. After completing a bunch of miscellaneous tasks, she takes our order. We have 2 toddlers who are sitting waiting to eat, so we ask that our order be submitted promptly, to which we were told that she's super busy in a rude manner. The 2 toddlers are playing quietly with utensils and the server (not ours, the other on staff) shouts from across the building at our children to be quiet. We found Timbers because we got a flat tire passing through town and had to stop for the night! We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and great service! We all ordered the sirloin steak and it was well seasoned. We also had delicious house salads and baked potatoes. 2.5 stars really. I wanted to like this place more - but there were some issues with the food. First off--we ordered the fried mushrooms which were clearly frozen and tasted a little stale. The ranch dressing was good though. I then had the potato soup. It was good, nice and cheesy and tangy. My boyfriend had porkchops which were good and juicy. His side salad looked fresh. The big problem was the grouper I ordered. It was full of bones, and I could only take a few bites. The server was very nice and put in another order of the cod, which I thought was "safe" by comparison when it came to the bones. It took FOREVER to come out, but it was cooked nicely and tasty. By this time, my boyfriend was long done with his dinner. Our server was prompt and accommodating. I would really like to give this place another shot. Hubby and I had a good lunch here on a sunny Friday afternoon when people are feeling better about getting out. (hubs included) Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. We felt very comfortable with the social distancing. Hubs got the Calf size Rib-eye with baked potato and salad. He said all was good, great portions. I ordered the Ceasar salad and an order of the Brew City french fries. I must confess that I've never ordered ceasar salad before because the first time I tried it was on a buffet and it tasted gross. They greet you with a smile and are happy to sit you in your favorite area if available not to mention remember your normal drinks and bring them when they come to your table. A large party of our family ate here for dinner on 8/10/2024. Though this restaurant's ad stated no reservations, they were gracious enough to make one for our group of 13. The appetizers and meals were enjoyed by all. I had the grilled grouper with the Timbers seasoning and it was moist and delicious. The sides, rice pilaf and vegetables were also tasty. Some of us ordered steaks from prime rib to fillet and those who did said they were good as well. We had eaten here a few years and the food now is much better. I pride myself as a reviewer of being completely fair, honest and open about the experiences I have at all establishments I find myself at. That being said I have to say this experience has been disappointing especially with all the positive reviews I have seen. I am going to be as respectful as I can be but also revealing the truth as to the experience had at this establishment. 1. Atmosphere: The aesthetic of the establishment was nothing special and had the resemblance of most diners. There's nothing wrong with the atmosphere, it just didn't add anything positive to the experience. I could've had the same atmospheric experience at a local diner. (Atmosphere 1.5/5) 2. Service: While the service was good and the waitress assigned to my table seemed eager to serve the customers I couldn't help but notice that I had another waitress ask if I was ready to order. Having multiple servers begs to ask many different questions as to who to tip, should I tip the usual amount if they only provide limited service or who to look for/ask if you need service. This isn't an issue so long as a main waitress is established so I know who I am going to tip and sought out if I need something. The waitress was kind enough to take my steak off of my bill after politely rejecting for the kitchen to make another steak for me. This didn't affect my rating negatively, but in fact it helped with the overall. (Service 3.5/5) 3: Food This is where the rating comes in to play. I started the night off ordering 6 boneless wings. When I got them they looked as though they had just been microwaved. Upon further investigation my thoughts were confirmed as the sauce was hot to the touch while the chicken was barley warm. Next came the steak and fries that I had ordered. The fries were the "crinkle" style fries and there wasn't anything wrong with the besides a couple of them were burnt which is a normal occurrence so no points off there. The steak on the other hand was the main reason why this review is as low as it is. I had asked for the steak to be cooked medium and when the steak came out everything was grey. The steak knife I had cut though it like butter. I could take my fork and scrape the top of the steak and it fell apart because of it being soft and mushy. It was unseasoned and also contained fake grill marks to give it a real steak look. It was indeed again another dish that was put into a microwave and served to a customer. I normally am able to stomach food that I don't necessarily like and make it look like it was somewhat appetizing, but I was only able to take one bite before feeling sick. The smell and look of this steak had a close resemblance to raw dog food. I am not sure I would even feed this to a dog. (Food 0/5) 4. Cost: This establishment seemed fairly pricing for some of the items on the menu even for a so called steakhouse. A person could easily spend +$25 per meal. Most steak meals are $30 - $50 for smaller cuts of meat and fountain drinks run you $3 per drink with one refill. The pricing for the quality of food that is given says all you need to know about the establishment. (Cost 0.5/5) Total Rating: (1.4/5) This was a very unfortunate experience for me as a customer to eat at this establishment. Personally I will not be going here again. My reviews will never recommend people to either go or stay away from an establishment. My goal is for the reader to read the review and determine for themselves whether and establishment is worth their time and money. This was our first visit to Timbers Steakhouse & Seafood. As far as safety precautions because of Covid, I give them 5 stars -- great job! We ordered a rib eye steak along with the salad and steak fries. The portion of meat was very generous and there wasn't very much fat on it, which is surprising because rib eyes typically are marbled with fat. One of the first things I noticed was the temperature of my steak -- I did not complain, but parts of it were cold which led me to believe that these are precooked. It reminded me more of the prime rib slabs that we used to buy at Sam's Club -- they were precooked, and we used to cut slices and grill them. They were good, but we were expecting a true rib eye steak cooked on a grill. The blue cheese dressing is cheap bottled dressing with the typical sour bottled blue cheese dressing taste. We were also supposed to get a dinner roll with the steak, but didn't. read more

Delicious dinner. We went in for the Bigeye tuna they had brought in fresh and was not disappointed. We had it Japanese style as well as timbers style. Timbers style was chargrilled and highly recommend! First time I've had tuna without wanting wasabi or soy sauce. Also pictured is a regular favorite, the shrimp scampi and old fashioned. They did away with their salad bar with upgrades to a house, Caesar, or wedge salad. We tried the house & wedge and were very good. Thanks for a great meal and service Timbers! read more

I'm not a picky guy, and I've never given a 1 star review (in fact, this is my first). But holy cow, this place failed on every single level. The food was abysmal, the servers were overworked, and the manger was nonexistent in a restaurant so clearly trying to nickel-and-dime their customers that it's almost laughable. They even sell a "special" blend of spices at every table that just consists of salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder for $5. It's as if the place is run by some failed mob man that ran off to Indiana with no cooking experience before, in a fever dream, deciding that the restaurant biz was his big ticket outta here. Ignoring the bizarre and off-putting atmosphere, the wait time despite not many customers (I went there at 4:30), and ridiculous customer service, here was my food experience: I ordered their ribeye, medium rare. What came back to my table was a prime rib cooked well done. I asked they take back the prime rib, and they said it was ribeye. Hm, sure, okay. But even if it's not, it's clearly cooked well done so, please? They get a plate to take it back, leaving the stake fries and onions that came with it. Sure, okay. 20 minutes later and my fries are cold, but the ribeye is finally here. It's a completely different cut of steak. I chuckle to myself, but hey, at least it's here, so time to eat. I cut it open - it's cooked medium well, mostly grey, but worse? It's cold. Again, I'm not that picky. But this is a cold piece of meat cooked two steps more than I asked after they already messed up my order the first time? Then it hit me - this meat was cooked awhile ago, and they stuck it under a heat lamp until someone ordered it. At this point I've been at this restaurant for over an hour, and I've had enough. I apologize and say no thanks, I'm no longer hungry and I'd like to just leave. She says okay but you have to pay for your fries. The cold fries I nibbled on while I waited for my entree. So, not okay. I downloaded this app and am now writing a review. This restaurant is run by either incompetent con-artists or a managerial staff that hasn't stepped foot inside since 2004. With everything wrong that happened with my order, no manager ever stepped in, asked how things were, or offered to make it right. Don't go here. The service was quick and friendly, but the waitress wasn't really familiar with the beers that were on tap. She suggested we go up to the bartender and ask her. Ordered burgers for my wife and I, a kids burger for one kid and a mini corn dogs for the other. It wasn't busy but it seemed to take a while for the food. When it came out, everything was undercooked by a LOT. My wife ordered well-done and it came out medium. I ordered medium-well and it was medium rare.
